Stay away from this app, especially if you have children. My sister’s account was deleted for no reason after years of hard work and financial investment. Despite her begging for a second chance, she received a single-sentence response from a bot. The devs claim to care about safety, yet they allow a toxic discord run by unpaid minor moderators. They push gambling odds and addictive mechanics onto kids, then ban them without recourse while actual cheaters remain on the leaderboard. Disgusting!!!

It's also pretty pay to win, the game begs you to invite people and pay for premium constantly and even gives you a premium pop-up sometimes when opening drops. The area and player location desyncs frequently, and the game can just randomly avoid areas from having drops. The moderators on the discord server don't care about bug reports and usually give you attitude when you report a bug or give a good suggestion. Do not play.
Played for two days. My account was falsely banned out of nowhere and attempts to contact support were met with a denial without any attempt at communication. I enjoy the app, but their handling of their community and players is baffling and insulting to deal with. Not only that, but long-time players who have been falsely banned for the same reasons have instantly had valuable parts of their collection liquidated without recompense, even when they were unbanned.

This excuse of an app won't even work. Don't waste your time
went from a 5 to a 1 - I was banned with no explanation. I've tried emailing them with no response. the ban said "cheating" and I have no idea what that could possibly mean when I've never done so? will change my rating if this is resolved.
Get this: you can't delete your account. Try and it gives an error every time. Very interesting for a location harvesting app, don't you think?
DO NOT SPEND ONE CENT ON THIS APP! THEY CAN JUST ARBITRARILY CLAIM YOU WERE CHEATING AND BAN YOU AND STEAL THE MONEY AND TIME YOU SPENT ON THIS APP! I PLAYED FOR OVER A YEAR AND THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO BBB AND A CHARGEBAVK HAS BEEN PLACED FOR MY SOUNDPASS AT LEAST. HAD THE "LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP" TOO.

one of the few mobile games that will ban you for nothing. corrupt 15yr old admins on power trips. games pay to win. runs horrible and is poorly optimized. if you value your time don't bother playing. Its a cool concept for a game. Just insanely poorly executed.

I had downloaded the app by recommendation from a family member, while on vacation. Everything was going well and I was able to play it for about a day. On the drive back home I played it and was suddenly logged out. When I tried to log back in I was given a message that my account was banned because of spoofing. When I emailed them about the situation and how it could have been a mistake because of travel, they gave me weird instructions on how to "prove it". Ultimately never got fixed.
game is buggy, always lagging despite frequent updates over the past months. Has great potential but the non stop issues paired with false bans with no explanation or real way to appeal make the game unplayable. would not recommend any longer to anyone.

i got perm banned for smth i didn't do because some1 reported me because he thought it's fun. support ignores me for over a year and discord staff won't help either.
I havent had the app for that long, but i can tell theres many problems. First of all half the time when i try to trade someone or collect a drop it just says like 'something went wrong, if the issue persists reinstall the app'. So i have and it fixes nothing. Secondly the 'free' premium, inviting 10 friends, most of the time the game doesnt even register that theyve joined?? It would be great if these issues were fixed because for the mean time the app is basically unplayable.
Literally cannot play this game without spending $30 or inviting 8 friends. What a cash grab
🚨 TOTAL SYSTEM FAILURE: STAY AWAY 🚨 Soundmap is a hollow shell of its former self, now defined by rampant scammers, stalking minors, and a spineless, automated moderation system. After TWO+ YEARS of financial support and hundreds of hours invested, I was discarded by a baseless ban and a scripted AI rejection. It is PATHETIC to see a platform thrive on its community's loyalty only to hide behind bots when accountability is required. Save your money; this developer doesn't deserve a cent of it.

Over a year of playing this, this game has become something most can agree is not enjoyable anymore. With constant game breaking bugs with little to no support or compensation for them, AI generated event assets, numerous microtransactions, AI being used (vibecoding) to code Soundmap 2.0, and the face of the game stepping back. It now feels like a cash grab, and I’m really disappointed with the direction the team has took this game. If you value your time and money, this game is not for you

AI coded game with AI "designers" both for UI and for 'event drops'
I spent over 50 bucks and tons of time on this game in the summer of 25' just to be banned for 0 reason. I never cheated but support never responded, I got blocked on all platforms, and I could do nothing. do not play this, or at least just dont spend money. theyre a terrible company who does not care about their game or users (they use ai for events!) 0/10, amazing idea but ruined by terrible ownership.

I downloaded the app, played for maybe an hour then the next day I opened it to being banned for 'cheating' when I did nothing wrong. I was a brand new user. I stayed stationary inside my home playing this game. I contacted support and they are saying I'm being banned permanently when I did 0% wrong.
I have so many bugs i cant even count them, especially on the trading/shop portion of the game I keep having to reinstall the game for it to reset and even that doesnt work half the time, so I can't trade for my favorite songs.
game constantly has bugs introduced after a new update, devs promise things will be fixed and they never are. top players constantly get away with cheating too, team either doesn't care or they think it provides some benefit to the economy thats been in shambles since the 2.0 update. no longer recommend this game

This app has too many cash grab opportunities, where they are trying to get money out of you for any little feature in the app.
the game itself is really addicting and fun but it banned me for "exploiting" when I was just playing the game, I contacted the help desk and they never reached out or anything on multiple occasions. which is weird because on the website they respond but they want me to email them even though they don't even try to help in any way through email. im not the only one with these problems either
this game would be PERFECT if there wasn't a new glitch every single day. i've put a fair bit of money into this app, surely asking for it to work 90% of the time isnt too much of a request?
awful bugs, awful events, awful performance, whole game is coded with AI and it shows
alright game. however when i open map drops I get stuck on the collect screen and have to close the game and reopen it to get the song
