Played this for a little while when I first discovered it and it seemed like a cool concept, but it didn't hold my interest enough to keep playing, so I recently decided to delete my account. However, whenever I open the app I get a "network error" message, and when I try to delete my account from within the app it just hangs and doesn't end up doing anything. Reached out to support via email but am not optimistic about a resolution. If they actually come through I'll update my review.
update: June 17, 2026 and this app is still garbage. getting progressively worse.too many things wrong to list. horrible app, between it not wanting to load. or simply having to try to get the daily bonus to work by coming to the app four or five times. or when finally the app does work, and just North of me is 1.5 million drops. but where I'm at there are two. app doesn't work by walking to them either. I never leave the place I start. Lots of things wrong with this garbage.

I don't even know how you could cheat in this type of game. There are much better games out there than this.

super buggy and doesn't allow account deletion
ridiculous amount of ads. I get that's how it works these days, in app purchases keep the servers on, but come on y'all also got banned after two days for cheating. not entirely sure how one would cheat at this game but go off, king. would have rated zero stars but wasn't an option.
had this app for like 2 or 3 days and they banned my account for "Terms of Service - Cheating" which isn't even a section in their TOS and I don't even know how I could have possibly cheated at this?? I barely used the app in those 2 days so I'm confused.
App does not allow you to delete your account
Downloaded the app and liked the game so chose to support it with the lifetime pass. I played for 50 minutes total before waking up the next morning and finding my account permanently banned for cheating?? I sat in bed collecting songs and supported the app and was banned right after paying them money. Think they may be scamming people. Stay away from this app and this developer.
Theres too many reasons why this game is terrible but a few are the people are rarely not rude, game eats your battery, everything costs so much when money is not really easy to get, and the way you get money is putting offers up and they don't last long which means putting up 15 offers is very tedious

Unjustly Banned After 3 Years! I've played Soundmap legitimately for 3 years. I recently bought a new phone and tablet. Due to system sync, the game automatically opened on both new devices simultaneously, and I was instantly banned for no reason. I didn't cheat. To make it worse, support is terrible and takes forever to reply, showing zero interest in helping. Losing 3 years of progress over a basic device synchronization bug is highly disappointing. Fix this mistake.

can be fun. however could do with some optimisation (e.g. when reordering playlists it takes a good while to move a playlist from the bottom to the top) also lags alot on android, and I often get kicked out of the game because it's crashed the second I've opened it. could also benefit from again optimising the game for android as it does cause overheating.
banned for cheating? I didnt even know you could cheat, I play semi often but was hit randomly as I was trying to get back into it, asked support why I was banned and what I could do to prove my innocence and.. they said : "Hello, After reviewing the situation, we have determined that your account will remain banned. To ensure the safety and integrity of our community, this ban will be permanent as outlined in our rules." I still dont know what I did that could be considered "cheating" >:[
From day one, this game has been a frustrating experience, and unfortunately, nothing has improved. Catching a song takes forever, quests move at a painfully slow pace, and trading is practically impossible. Customer service seems better at apologizing than actually fixing problems. The concept has a lot of potential, but the execution has been terrible. At this point, the game seriously needs a competent team to take over and turn things around.
what is this even for? too intrusive
Stay away from this app, especially if you have children. My sister’s account was deleted for no reason after years of hard work and financial investment. Despite her begging for a second chance, she received a single-sentence response from a bot. The devs claim to care about safety, yet they allow a toxic discord run by unpaid minor moderators. They push gambling odds and addictive mechanics onto kids, then ban them without recourse while actual cheaters remain on the leaderboard. Disgusting!!!
the app is always buggy and has tons of glitches that ruin the game. It's also pretty pay to win, the game begs you to invite people and pay for premium constantly and even gives you a premium pop-up sometimes when opening drops. The area and player location desyncs frequently, and the game can just randomly avoid areas from having drops. The moderators on the discord server don't care about bug reports and usually give you attitude when you report a bug or give a good suggestion. Do not play.
Played for two days. My account was falsely banned out of nowhere and attempts to contact support were met with a denial without any attempt at communication. I enjoy the app, but their handling of their community and players is baffling and insulting to deal with. Not only that, but long-time players who have been falsely banned for the same reasons have instantly had valuable parts of their collection liquidated without recompense, even when they were unbanned.
banned me after months of grinding please unbanned me I confess I did use a spoofer but I spent money on this game and I wont ever use it again and if I do you can permanently ban me I just thought this would be like Pokémon go where you get soft banned for a few hours im sorry. or atleast allow me to transfer my paid items to a new account or refund me.

went from a 5 to a 1 - I was banned with no explanation. I've tried emailing them with no response. the ban said "cheating" and I have no idea what that could possibly mean when I've never done so? will change my rating if this is resolved.
Get this: you can't delete your account. Try and it gives an error every time. Very interesting for a location harvesting app, don't you think?
DO NOT SPEND ONE CENT ON THIS APP! THEY CAN JUST ARBITRARILY CLAIM YOU WERE CHEATING AND BAN YOU AND STEAL THE MONEY AND TIME YOU SPENT ON THIS APP! I PLAYED FOR OVER A YEAR AND THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO BBB AND A CHARGEBAVK HAS BEEN PLACED FOR MY SOUNDPASS AT LEAST. HAD THE "LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP" TOO.
week in and week out I spend tens of thousands of coins that I can't roll a multiplier on because I'm on android just to get a common and not be able to reroll again because of Android, if you aren't using an iPhone it's not even worth a download because less than a month later you have a totally worse version
it's really fun but I can't list shinies or lyric songs for sale it just tells me to reinstall the app which is a real bummer because I've spent like 25$ on this ☹️

When I first started playing the game was great but now it seems overly buggy. The focus seems to be on events instead of working on optimizing the app. They need a competent team that actually knows how to code. Pretty sure they used AI to build most of the app as some issues seem to never get addressed.
It was OK, but once I lost my streak of daily logs ins for no reason, and had them partly restored, then lost them again. I gave up.
great idea in concept. ultimately ended up listing 3 songs before running through the trading tutorial and hard locked my game into not letting me play because of that anymore unless I buy premium.
Fun concept, but way too buggy. Every time there is a tournament, there are glitches when playing the clips of the songs. They often don't play, and I have to restart the app and try again. This app has too many cash grab opportunities, where they are trying to get money out of you for any little feature in the app.
