Enemy ship explosion flashes take over the whole screen during combat and cause eyestrain against the space background, making fights unenjoyable. This issue still hasn’t been addressed-or perhaps it’s intentional, which might explain the combat rating: “I am honestly surprised anyone destroyed this many ships.” The flash sometimes also appears on your ship as well as at the explosion location.
so i was playing the TA campaign. at a point you become a pirate for the story. during this time I built an awsome fleet with 5 sovereign ships and an iro battle ship. I completed the quest and my fleet disappeared. this took me tons of hours, this games is full of bugs and the dev has abandoned it. i also had a bug where the fer runner ship was destroyed but the quest never completed. I've started over multiple times just to try and get to end game content but I give up
Meh. Between nonoptional crime missions early game (randomly forced to accept a smuggling mission early game with no option to decline, not very choose your own path at all) and later, a mission to investigate a derelict which never spawned for me to investigate, I'm very underwhelmed. I could tolerate bad plot progression, but unfinishable missions is where I draw the line. Needs work.
It's not awful, but it has many issues. Quest markers are buggy. Quest triggers are buggy. Time passes arbitrarily. Quest guidelines are masked (not transparent). Handling is very poor. Thrust in any space action game should be realistic. You should be able to adjust your vector without sacrificing forward momentum. Rear thrust shouldn't let you reverse. Proximity should generally let you trade and interact, and not require you to be literally, perfectly, on top of another ship or object.
I do enjoy the game but I do need to say that you NEED to ad wasd movement keybinds it would be easier for gameplay add that and it will be 5 stars
A pretty decent game I only have 2 complaints. 1. Ship turn speed/ general movement control, most of the smaller ships have somewhere around 78 ts and while play feels like flying a brick which isn't helped by the mc because of the sticky stick the locks the md in one direction until you fully turn manually. 2. The constant combat and conflicts that always happen on the top of the center of the systems.
No controller support.
