app doesn't work on phone or on fire stick
Unfortunately, this app has gone downhill. Half the time it does not open!!! With the cost we pay to Spectrum things should work seamlessly.

Does not want to open "Sign in " page. Cannot sign in so cannot watch. Fix it!!!

Got the update and now it takes about 5 to 6 minutes just to load the home screen, then another 3 to 4 minutes just to load a channel. Whatever update you guys did made things horrible. I was watching a movie and my battery died. I couldn't get back in to continue the movie for about 9 minutes. On multiple devices it's been the same experience. Between this and the continued diminishing quality of internet and equipment while raising prices, I'm about ready to look for service Anywhere else.
The app crashes 8 to 10 times a day. I just got all new equipment, modem, router, all of the wires and connectors thinking that would fix the problem. Since I hooked up and activated all of my new equipment the app has continued to crash. Not surprising. Every service I've ever had from spectrum has been a joke.
This app worked well until the recent update. I'm legally blind and rely on TalkBack via the Android accessibility suite to navigate apps. TalkBack is a screen reader for the visually impaired. After the last update, the app will no longer allow my screen reader to read me the channels in the list. I called Spectrum customer support, and as usual, they were no help. Therefore, I'm filing a complaint under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Spectrum is not exempt from federal law.
I downloaded this to stream to my TV due to the fact my remote in temporarily lost, thanks to my 16 month old. First it took many attempts to try an log into my account kept getting an error message, so I changed my password. It then said I was logged in just to get the circle of doom forever. This app sucks. No help at all.

log in to app, makes me sign in every time. it will open my browser to log in, I'll punch in my information, it then sends me back to the app and prompts me to sign in again. I've updated it, uninstalled and reinstalled, turned my device off and back on. this is getting really annoying. I can't see my bill, can't track my device that should have been repaired and returned by now. been this way on multiple devices. no excuse for a communications company to have such a terrible app

Stupid app never works anymore. always says some error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and keep getting the same message. I'm over it!
why don't you tell people that spectrum TV on longer works on android TV box before they install it and save them the trouble of getting frustrated
I've tried 5 times to sign in and each time I receive the same message that something went wrong try again. What a waste of time and energy.
I was looking forward to trying this app, but it doesn't let me past the log in screen. Oh well.

Disrupting my service
STUPID. what is the point of having a mobile app to watch your channels...... if the app only works IF YOU'RE NOT MOBILE. You can only watch local channels if your on your home wifi network.... so stupid!
this app has been not usable for a week. it keeps telling me internet not accessible/ not working and it's working fine. it won't let me use any of the tabs bc it's saying no internet?? just frustrating
needs work. forced updates. no info on channel at time it is on. cannot get back to channel without scrolling back. some times fails to load. poor performance for multi billion dollar company

On my Galaxy tablet and phone the app opens if portrait mode. Guide and DVR also open in portrait mode but when viewing a saved program you HAVE to change to landscape mode and then back again to portrait when going back to the list. Why not have all functions and screens work in both landscape and portrait modes instead of haveing to keep turning the screen? VERY annoying !
Spectrum has been acting up and then they want feed back when it's them.
It sucks it keeps asking me to up grade to the new app then it won't let me do it

update April 2026 this all needs a rebuild.... freezing, not uploading, jumping during play/pause events.... terrible even with the update Most of the time it don't even want to load and then when it does load it freezes terrible app even with the recent update fifth time I've had to uninstall and reinstall just to try to make it work

This app was good but now if you have a receiver with an older DVR, you can't use this app to setup to record a program. This makes the app almost entirely worthless. Spectrum just wants to push everyone to a cloud progam which is probably more expensive.

Update 4/12/2026, Terrible. have to jerp signing into the app. Customer service is bad, as well. you will be going back and forth with an AI bot, before you are lucky enough to engage a human, then it will go down hill from there. My advice is Don't GET SPECTRUM If you can find another provider.

I haaaaate how there isn't a QR code to scan to sign into the account on TVs ... why do I have to manually sign in every daaaaamn time ... lame! other than that, I enjoy being able to use the app on my TV vs having a cable box line the old days and how I can watch content from my cell while on the road
