I would give it a zero if I could for false advertising it praises itself that is free however it's not there's not one thing in it that's free this is a paying app get you to download under false pretenses hoping that you'll pay the price well not everybody has the money so this sucks it sucks and I would not recommend this to anyone BS app
deleted the app but still got charged 49.95. when I redownloaded it it showed basic only not premium. not happy
there are not very many books for free and since I am only 13 nit many of them are for my age group. I just feel like there needs to be more book for young adults for free.

would not read books I already own. wanted to force me to make in app purchases. have not given me a requested refund.
does not work as promised. then cust service canceled when I complained after paying upfront for a year they refuse to refund. I would never recommend this app beware ths lies and scam
I don't have money to pay I don't read every day I only would I need to read and learn something important I don't recommend it cause it will skip paragraph as I read along it not reading like it promise I had to go back and tap it to get it to read it but have tap more then once to read the one it skip i can send you a viedo that it won't read th whole book
less like an app, more like a teacher plan with a 100 dollar. a year charge. if you ha e dyslexia, this app might work, but if you are just looking to have a tts engine, don't use this
False advertisement on FB. It says and shows someone just scanning the cover of a book, and it reads the contents of that book. A waste of money, cancel asap.
I didn't like it, couldn't download any books , had to buy them off their platform. it was slow and froze
This app and book selections are terrible. Help is non-existent. The cost to purchase a recent book is outrageous. save your money. Stick to the more popular apps. I will not renew and will try and get my money back. stay away from it.

I have wasted my money and just want to end my subscription and get my money back. I didn't realize that you pay for a subscription but still have to pay for each book. I would give zero stsrs if I could!!!

I've just paid $30AUD and this app does not work like the ad says. I can't just scan the front cover of my book and have it read to me. The ad is a lie, do not believe it. I would like my money back!
1 star because its got a bug, it fails to even load in every singe time, ive had this app for a while and it used to work great but whatever got used in the new updates only made it crash more and more. it used to be so much better and this is not what I paid for.
lately when I use the weblink it doesnt save the whole page, it will be 30k words but only save a paragraph to listen to
Saw this advertised on Facebook, the demo showed a simple scan of a book cover and the entire book could be read to you. That is not at all how this works. I downloaded the app, declined to pay the $100, scanned a book cover, and the app simply read me the book cover. Nowhere in the demo or in the preview pix of the app did it indicate a subscription was required. I did not choose the free trial, because I didn't want to be automatically enrolled in anything. Uninstalling.

this app advertised taking a picture of a book and it would read it to you. It doesn't! even after doing the upgrade. I'd did the other upgrade for more book options in the app. Got nothing for it. all the books they have that you don't have to pay for are old classics. Nothing of this day and age. I'm waiting for my refund.
Just say frim the start that its a paid app so that I dont waste my time...

This App is a SCAM!!! The ad shows where someone scans The cover of a book and is supposed to read the entire book to you however you have to scan each and every page which is ridiculous!!! I've asked for my money back however you can't get in touch with anyone so yes speechify is a scam!!! Don't trust this company!!!!
I was charged for this app. and I cant use it after the first day. it keeps sending me to pay for premium. 🤨

This is not a free service.
I am a premium user. The app jumbles up sentences of pdf, skips words and letters, making the text harder to understand. I've been regretting paying up so much for a premium subscription. The app keeps changing voice to robotic one every now and then. more time consumer than saver.

This application doesn't read Kindle books. It misses words, leaves out whole paragraphs, sometimes reads the punctuation, and then stops reading completely. I don't like it. It is also not easy to cancel this app. I have been trying, unsuccessfully, since I downloaded the app. If I try online, I am directed only to sign up and there isn't anywhere to cancel in the app. This is a total waste and I'm completely disappointed. I want my subscription canceled and no charges. The app is unusable.
I downloaded it because I've started seeing the ads all over my games. It looked interesting, because there are times I would like to have documents read to me. Before I used it for the first time, an ad played showing someone using it to "steal" books from a bookstore. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to scan a book and then "read" it without paying for it. I'm sure all the affected authors would have something to say about it.

Even just using the app for a couple hours. I noticed that it likes to skip sentences, random sections of words, and sometimes even paragraphs. And that was only one of the issues that I had. If it was free, or even had a free option I would probably just deal with it. With how many issues I had with this app just in the first day, I don't believe it is worth the money it costs to use the app. Some of the other issues include screen freezing & stopping, random voice changes and the app closing.
I hate this app only because if you want to read a book that you've been reading for like a while, but you didn't finish and you still have a long way to go then it makes you like if you can't find it in the library then it makes you like scan Every individual page and it's so annoying to scan every single page.
Lies. Says take a picture of the book and it will read it. You have to scan every single page format them, and then it will read it. You can do that for free on any phone. Don't pay for it. I haven't had it 30 minutes and already canceled
The Ads lie to you, you can't just scan the cover of a book and then it reads the whole book for you. It literally only reads the text on the cover. Don't waste your time.
the app needs a lot of work. very buggy. randomly will stop, change voice over artists and continue playing after headphones removed. good idea in practice but come back after alpha release
The set up is invasive and time consuming and then they asked for money. It is gross. If you would like for people to actually sign up for your service, maybe don't make them do a bunch of paperwork for you then ask them for $100.
