Garbage app with half the features of competitors like Settle Up but with more ads. Can't even delete your account without having to go through half working menus and then have to email support to manually delete the account like its the 1990s.

I HATE this app, starting with the fact that it unites absolute frugal petty people (yes it make sense to use on a trip, no it will not make you poor to pay for your friend's coffee sometimes, you don't have to divide every euro with people you value) and finishing with how badly it's made. adds to add a few expenses? jokes, devs are equally greedy as their dedicated users

very bad experience, I took subscription trial of 7 days and cancelled within 3-4 days. but 999 amount paid from my account. I want my money back.
Absolutely useless app that charges you even for basics. And you have NO free trial if you choose a shared plan. Totally misleading. The UI design is out-dated. I'd never recommend to spend your money to this.
I used to like Splitwise - it was amazing. But now EVERYTHING is paid - a huge disappointment. Uninstalling it.
Buggy - when paying it sends me to my bank's webpage and not their app. which results in being unable to make payments. so no point in having Splitwise.
Connecting bank accounts doesn't work, which means you can't settle up within Splitwise. It also doesn't net currencies unless you pay. I would not recommend this app

The tink payment link os a complete joke. utterly unusable. do I leave Splitwise or First Direct? what a waste of time.

The limits for free use are horrible, 3 expenses a day seriously? Now I use Slyce this new app it's soo great, no limits and my friends don't even need to register! Love it
Way too confusing for what people need this for, actual features locked behind paywall.
Got worse over time, useful version now costs more than the Ai credits needed to build a replacement...

it is freezing on the add expenses screen
too restrictive with just 3 expenses per day and it's also super costly. I will switch soon.

The monetisation is insane. If the pro subscription was a reasonable price it might make sense. Used to be great but has been ruined by greed.
Horrible app with so many issues. For something with such a high rating I thought it would be something stable, but I'm having issues with settling up and numbers being completely off. If I could leave a negative star review I would.

Splitwise is a great example of how far a company will degrade their app for greed. With every iterative update, the free tier gets that much more unusable. I understand that every app needs to make money, so there will always be a push to buy the subscription service. But if you go so far to make the free tier completely unusable, then I'd rather switch to an alternative than give in to your cheap tricks.
Allows only adding 2-3 expenses per day. Will Remove this app & go with an alternate open source solution.
Rubbish - after a few expenses it starts demanding you sign up for the premium version. Useless if you're on a trip!
Daily free limit for expenses too low
Daily expense limit (3 entries) makes the free version almost unusable. Shame that greed has gotten the better of you. Paid versions are ridiculously overpriced for what you actually get. Stay clear
in a bid to have people pay for this, the app which was once clean and super functional has become buggy and less useful. can't even add more than two expenses now without it hanging and becoming obsolete.
