The worst app I've ever seen. The only way to exit it on the Google TV platform is to unplug your TV and restart it. It crashes the TV every single time. And while I dislike watching ads, blacking out the screen while live tv ads are playing probably goes against your advertising contracts. Whoever wrote this should simply be fired, it really is that bad.

I don't leave a lot of reviews but people need to know not to get this app. It constantly freezes or goes black while streaming on my TV. Then knock you out to the home screen and when you go back in, the game is 10 mins further ahead because of the black screen/freeze. Honestly save your 30 bucks and listen to the game on am radio for a better experience.
Hands down, this is the worst app I've ever used. There are so many problems with it, including errors without any explanation. I have experienced issues on both my Android device and my Google TV.

Buffering is terrible all the time!
app does not let me stream anything when on my Wifi (which is Shaw/Rogers), but works fine with data. and there is nothing wrong with my wifi as it works fine streaming on other apps. this has gone on for a while now.

sportsnet you need to update your app for the tv steaming devices. we have to close the app out and reopen it just to get the app to work normally. this we have to do multiple times a day on fire cubes and Google streaming device.
I pay a dumb amount to watch out of market hockey and this app still throws sports betting apps in my face that are timed and unclosable. Rediculous.
If I cast to my TV, lock my phone, then unlock my phone, the stream sometimes moves to my phone, sometimes plays both at once, sometimes layers two audio streams through my phone. This app is a special kind of broken.
Constantly crashes and terrible rendering. Considering you pay more than $300 a year for a subscription you would think they could invest some of that money into making a better app. Would give a zero if it was an option.
Garbage. The app barely operates. Glad they offered a monthly charge option because they don't have a product that supports a yearly service charge.

Only giving one star because this app doesn't exist on Roku or LG. App developer has even blocked casting to Roku, why? Forcing me to stream through Prime for greater access across devices. Very good otherwise, five stars.

Guess what I'm going to do after the NHL playoffs? Cancel my subscription to the Sportsnet app! I can't watch a game without force stopping and restarting the app five times due to lag and buffering.... The subscription cost is outrageous given the poor quality and app functionality. The crazy thing is that this isn't a new problem. It's been ongoing for years and Rogers doesn't seem to care. If I could post this without giving the app at least one star I would!

Shame on you, Rogers. Never used anything so hopelessly useless in my whole life. And for $300 a year??? Rediculous. Anyone who's as stupid as me and bought the subscription would be better off using their browser and not this pathetic joke of an app. And even then, you are paying an unfathomable price for something that is complete garbage to use and garbage to watch. I wish these guys would realize what a pathetic failure they are and how much the consumers hate them and their horrible service
Sportsnet is absolute garbage. Love having my hockey game freeze and go to black in playoff games, truly a horrible experience. Sportsnet sucks on mobile sucks on pc sucks on Google TV

I can't even login anymore. Choose the TV provider option and it just takes me to a black screen.
For every commercial break, every ad break in commentary, its a perfect stream. The second the game is back on, its terrible, skips, lags. You pay a premium for sportsnet plus and this is the product. This is why everyone is cutting cords and sailing the seas.
The most unreliable app I have ever used. The fact that they are charging even more money for this service is a slap to the face. Always crashes and freezes. It is legitimately unwatchable. Every time. So frustrating!
This has to be one of the worst apps ever created!! Last year it was terrible but this year its much much worse, the real salt in the wounds is that they raised the cost by $50 this year for a worse product. They should be ashamed of it
