Great app but Spriggy are killing it with the exorbitant fees they charge. Bank card is cheaper and better. In response to the developers comment, once I said cancel my membership and put price as a factor I was offered $20 off the full price membership. why not just offer it at that price? $40 a year compared to $60 is a big saving especially for disadvantaged and low income families.

very complicated and asking a lot of detail just so I can buy a sim for my daughter. I have up as it's not allowing me to proceed on the set up. ended up buying somewhere else.
like any tech. it's only as good as bandwidth and end users. volunteer tuck shop workers aren't always tech savvy. Schools are quick to make snap arbitrary changes on adapting apps like this. But mistakes can happen and your child can end up going hungry and unfed at school all day. This happened to my child. I have uninstalled this silly app and will now go back to low tech brown bag with money attached.

I would not recommend this app to anyone. If you do use it dont add a 2nd parent because that person will not be able to transfer money off the childs card to my parent wallet like in my case, now my son cant access his pocket money as his card has expired. I now have to wait on Spriggy to make contact with the account holder and hope they send the money back to me. I essentially think Spriggy has money for nothing. Not happy so will be looking at other alternatives.
Screen is unresponsive in the sign up process, I can't move from the child's first name to their surname. 1 star, app doesn't work.
Everything I open the app it is stuck on the loading screen only way I can check my balance is by unsinatslaing then re downloading it the re logging in.

I saw a Spriggy ad referencing very specific, joke-style chores (e.g. “showering the cat”). What concerned me wasn’t the humour, but how plausible it felt. If derived from real user input, it raises questions about data access, governance, and consent - especially for a children’s finance app. Even if aggregated, the lack of transparency is a red flag.
ok when it works, but if you need support with account your on your own. used to work better couple years ago. there's probably somthing better with support out there by now. Updste: the app now is over charging me and it crashes everytime you try contact support.
features and controls missing
My card was going well from the start, but now it's "unavailable", and i can't buy anything.
Everything was working great until Spriggy started pushing new features / app and I was unable to turn off marketing spam. Now the app is frozen with a marketing message on the screen that won't go away and has caused the whole app to become inoperable. Great idea, but some frustrating user experiences that should be easily avoided.
my parents is turning on and off the data on and off button too many times and now it is broken, so fragile and frustrating, especially it needs 2 hours to activate each time, the sim card ideas is belongs to trash, way too expensive for its data plans, mine is 29 dollars for only 8 gb, while in other companies, that amount of money can get you atleast 30gb. what a waste.
the scheduled top up disappeared a while ago and it won't let me set a new one. keeps defaulting to 9 dollars
I have a child left stranded at local golf course because he couldn't pay his green fees on spriggy at the pro shop. The transaction was blocked because it's categorised as a place that sells alcohol. I understand this is a safety feature of spriggy but some rules are arbitrary and stupid.
The app refuses to load when it's in SPRK mode. Idk why, but it is genuinely extremely annoying. I'm young and this is currently my only way of actually using money. I am completely unable to open the app so it's impossible for me to transfer anything or check my balance. Extremely inconvenient. I would like this fixed please because it seriously pisses me off. I don't want to sound rude but it's the truth. How am I supposed to buy stuff if I can't check my balance to know if I can afford it?

I can't log into my spriggy app, and I can't cancel spriggy, and they keep taking money out, and no number to speak to a person about this ,not happy at all
it keeps saying unsuccessful after I've tried to sign in multiple times and log in on the website it keeps saying the same thing and then I uninstalled it and did it again but still not working then I waited 17 minutes but still not working
Can't get scheduled top ups to work at all. Which then means the scheduled transfers into my kids accounts don't happen. Which doesn't help me teach my kids about budgeting between "pay days". I've tried deleting the payment and setting it to again and I've tried changing the card. Not even once has a scheduled top up processed. For the very expensive $78 a year, basic banking functionality should work. I'll be cancelling my account ASAP and getting my kids something else.
pathetic, just pathetic..... have account for 2 yrs now no access, no help, no nothing..... get your kids real bank accounts and give this app of thieves a wide berth

seems ok but way overpriced for the features.
very clunky and tedious onboarding process. The initial account activation took over 3 weeks. Additionally, the support team refused to even acknowledge my request for a copy of their information security policy. This was after they had requested for copies of license and passports over email and refused to provide me with alternate means of sharing this information when I asked for it. Pretty unhappy with the customer support and the user experience.
this app started really well, but now I have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time I want to use it, otherwise it sticks on the loading screen. ever since I changed my profile picture, the app stays on the SPRK loading screen, and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get in.
Good app, just I haven't been able to access my savings as the loading has just been atrocious. cant see my savings anymore without waiting 10 - 20 minutes
App works great, if your the primary parent, if your not, good luck. You'll be asking your partner to do all the transactions for you and if they are not contactable your stuffed. Why would you create an app where only one parent can move money around. perhaps this app is for single parents only.
