stupid region requirement
It's been about a year, and I've updated the app. Problem still persists: Didn't work on my nexus 5, doesn't work on my s8. "No locations nearby". And don't tell me to check my system date and time! It's set to automatic. update 2026: app still doesn't work: every single location says "online ordering not available" even when I hear baristas shout out other mobile orders.
my transaction history for the past year disappeared and I did not receive my birthday reward. they will not help so I am Uninstalling this app. its not a big deal to me. dutch bros is opening up soon by me 😁

Terrible. Just made a purchase over $20 and yesterday was just checking today if I received my points, but instead I am unable to sign in and use my account. I reinstalled and uninstalled and still will not let me sign in. This is not the first time this has happened as I've made multiple purchases in the past and have had to keep creating new accounts because it will sign out and I'm locked out of my account. Having the app is kinda useless as I'm always locked out before using app benefits.
EXPIRE. The rewards points are starting to expire, what a load of stupidity. And you can't even complain anywhere on their website. So here I am, Tim's Rewards are better, be ware of this shotty app.

The change in how stars are accumulated has depleted the stars I had accumulated. The stars were just enough of a discount to make it feel worth it. With the price difference now it just isn't worth the price. I live in an apt above a Starbucks but it's just not worth going there anymore. My home filter coffee will be sufficient even if it is not my preferred type

App layout is trash, and new AI feature to customize your drink is just useless. Yes Starbucks, along with my overpaid drink, I want to contaminat water in drought prone areas.

Somehow got logged out of the app and can't get signed in. I've reset my password twice today and can't log into the app. Will avoid going to Starbucks moving forward because of poor app
Every single store listed on the app shows "online ordering not available". But more troublesome is that I added funds to a card through the app and the $40 ended up costing me over $50 because it charged me in US funds. Are you kidding me???

app updated and I can no longer login
Customize options are not the same across all. ie: some only splash" or some 1/2, 3/4, etc. As well as... an Americano you can select non dairy but espresso you can't. Not to mention non dairy sweet cream option you charge for vs none for other non dairy options.
The customizations are even more limited now. I usually do light ice on some things or no ice. That's not even an option anymore. Also, now it's forcing me to reload a gift card. I just want to pay the amount due not reload a card

Unable to sign in to Android app anymore. Contacted Starbucks support and instead of fixing the issue, they've decided to block me without reason ".. Something came back in that process that is preventing us from moving forward. At this time, I am not able to view the specific information that is keeping us from completing your login nor provide any further explanation." sounds like they have been hacked.
App USED to be flawless & seamless & I would use it often to order my faves ahead of time before leaving home; it was super convenient & saved me a ridiculous ton of time, ESPECIALLY during the rush hr parts of the day. After the most recent update however, all the app does is crash as soon as I tap on the order tab. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling, cleared cache, force stopped, NOTHING is working & IDK what the hell to do. Prob just gonna get rid of it. It's been swell, Starbucks. Thanks!

I had contacted support and was told to delete my account and make a new one. I did and I'm still having issues with the app. I still cant read what items I need to buy for the bonus star deals. They're still left as blanks {} Useless app.
I ordered breakfast from the mobile app 10 minutes after I arrived at the store. my breakfast wasn't ready until 20 minutes later. I'm disappointed. I was late for work.
used to be amazing but they stingy with the rewards. They got rid of double points for preloading a card making it pointless to preload.

I am using Pixel 9 Pro and the app crashes every single time I click on ANY menu item. I already cleared cache, storage and reinstalled the app from Play Store 2 times. Please fix it. I can only purchase items that I have purchased in the history and I am completely BLOCKED from ordering within the app. I am happy to provide any video recording that the app crashes. it is beyond frustrating
The fact that there is no way to get your rewards if you dont scan at the register is a big nope frome me.
No price details until you get to your cart. this feels borderline illegal if not unethical. luckily its an app so I can just add a million things to my cart to look but im hesitant to continue supporting a chain that doesnt respect its customers and hopes we will fall prey to this behavior. Extremely insulting and disrespectful especially now when people need to make informed purchases more than ever
ever since the update, it's been unable to locate stores to order ahead. Other apps using location services work just fine.
2 stars because this app used to be great. It has had a bug for months where clicking on an item in app when ordering ahead makes the app crash. I cleared the cache and when that didn't work, I reinstalled the app. Still doesn't work.
