New market beta is horrible, at least give us the option to revert.

The app is pretty darn mediocre for an offering from PC gaming's juggernaut. It crashes frequently, particularly when accessing Friends or Friend Activity.
The only people steam guard prevents from accessing gamers profiles is the actual users themselves. Customer support its disgraceful and takes forever to get any response. They request you confirm your details and when you do they tell you they're incorrect and that you need to wait days for support to get back!!! NOT acceptable...
I just made my account, and for some reason it won't log me in. Tried a couple times before deleting it
Update: It would seem that the issue i faced earlier isn't because of my payment provider, but this app itself. Because every time I try to attempt to buy a game through the app, it doesn't go through, but if i try via browser, it works. In conclusion, the app needs some work

when I log in, I cant look at any of my account stuff (library, profile, etc) I just keep getting errors. its weird cause this app has been working for years for me.

This app is genuinely the worst among PS app and XBOX app and what I mean by that? I mean the loading time steam app takes to load up store is about 2 to 3 or more minutes which is already GARBAGE, Loading time while editing profile is GARBAGE, I don't know what else to say, it's like STEAM APP on mobile is living in 2G era completely backward. IN ALL SERIOUSNESS FIX YOUR APP GABE LOGAN NEWELL this shi is garbage in literal loading times whilst using the fastest internet everything is top notch.

The most frustrating thing about steam is the login process, not sending verification code, 👎 I got very bad experience from stem
logs me out at random, and God forbid I forget my password. I jumped through every stupid hoop, had to delete my authenticator to make a new password, and now that I have access to the app, I cant log in on my pc because of the password attempt limit being reached. the whole point of this was to sell some of my trading cards, but because Im locked out on my pc, I cant sell through the app, AND because I had to delete and reinstall the authenticator, I have to wait 15 days!!!!
Terrible, doesn't keep me sign in or allow me to message my friends on the app. Cant even check on sales because it says I'm not logged in even though I Am.

After having it installed for a while, I truly do not understand why you would want to. All it does is send you notifications that games on your wishlist on sale, and once you sign up on it, Steam on desktop is going to start asking you to use the app for authentication purposes and other things. App not working today? Sorry bub, not allowed to do what you wanted on the desktop version. I'm going to logout, uninstall it, and hope I can just go back to using Steam normally on desktop.
steam has really disappointed me and I never expected that such a prestigious app will have such poor customer support they locked my account and after raising numerous requests. I found out that hackers are having all the fun in my account meanwhile I am the only one who is locked out of my own account. such a shame

The steam mobile app won't let me sign in to my steam account after multiple attempts at signing in using the same application. My first attempt was an attempt at using the steam mobile app for two-step verification, which the app was not ready for because it happened to sign out on its own.
QR code just will not never scan. I have spent a long time trying resetting restarting, looking around for help or to report.

absolutely poor, got my account signed in the first time. Then I needed to sign in again and forgot my password and asked for help, did everything they told me to do and still didn't work and even using credit card for proof of payment it still rejected it.
Absolute garbage I have been trying to set up an account now for 30 min. Keeps sending me in Circles. For how many people use this they should have an easier and better sign up for account option. I wouldn't use this app or PC app ever just cuz of how dumb and idiotic their set up is just getting on to add a few months later I didn't use my steam deck for a while because of constant issues trying to log in. now its the verification issues. not sending the code. frustrating system

App telling me to log in, while I'm already logged in. Trying to log in just give an error message. Literally unusable. Embarrassing garbage from Valve. Such a big company should put out a better product than this.
