Terrible. I changed language to English several times, it doesn't work. The website is using AI, means without asking permission AI process your CV even if you uploaded it 'private', and even if you delete your resume after applications, app keeps on filtering it, showing the level of match of your resume and the position. HOWEVER. Those filters do not show the healthy results, they are total mess. I hope employers or HR experts see, believe and trust this nonsense results.

Became as bad as LinkedIn: 24 hour filter is gone and unrelated jobs and times everywhere. 1 week ago was perfect.
App logs me out automatically after 30secs, login only works at the 4th attempt. Always get the message "oops something went wrong". Every Job offer I get the same massage. Never had a app performing so bad like that one! My phone is uptodate btw
mehrmals habe ich die Notifikation bekommen wo steht dass es gibt neue Jobs in der nähe. Und wenn ich die App öffne es gibt nichts. das ist wirklich schlimm. Ich habe es deinstaliert.
used to be easier. tap on job title, new page opens with more information. now you have to save it and go to your saved jobs to view the description. which seem to cut descriptions also. the report button does nothing.
Die Job Tipps sind ein absoluter Witz. Ich bekomme Benachrichtigungen für Stellen, welche überhaupt nicht auf mein Profil passen. Das steht sogar genau so drin. Sehr nervig.
I cannot add another CV which renders this application useless. Ive tried woth mobile browser but to no avail. Its a shame, i trusted you..Please address this problem

since few weeks I can't send any application via the app, it says something went wrong, I deleted it and I use the browser instead
Wieso kann ich die Sprache nicht ändern?
Man kann in der app die Sprache nicht ändern, wodurch man zwangsläufig die Sprache des Gerätes verwenden muss, oder ggf. diese extra ändern muss. Sowas ist im jahr 2025 lächerlich.

Google Login does not work.
Garbage app. FORCES you to create a profile or it won't even let you browse jobs, even if you already have an account. Other job apps are better and respect your autonomy.

This app drives me really mad. It signs me out automatically and and can't login back again
Upd2: during a manual search, keywords have little to no effect. E.g. while looking for a job for a Mechanic, you'll get buried under DevOps and System Administration ads. ______ Old: Pros: many job ads. Cons: constant email spamming despite manual settings disabling those, some fields cannot be operated with (e.g. Languages section, where chosen languages do not appear after refresh)
Die app synchronisiert sich nicht mit den website, ich haben jetzt nach eine große glitch verloren alle daten seit November, es zeigen eine konstante fehler und laden die jobs nicht mehr
Suche funktioniert nicht richtig. Ständig will die App einem vorspiegeln, dass es zahlreiche neue passende Stellen gibt. In Wirklichkeit sind es irgendwelche Stellen, die gar nicht zum Suchwort passen

Die app spinnt nur rum und ist voller bugs, wird auch nicht wirklich geprüft ob job anzeigen tatsächlich echt sind oder aktuel.

Full of recruiting firms that you cannot avoid (there are no filters). They fill pages upon pages of search results by giving the broadest job titles.
There's no possibility to delete my account. They want to know password from account, but there's no password at all, I didn't even create this password, how do I need to know it?! So, for deleting you need password, but by registering there's no password needed. @Stepstone how do you can explain it? What a trap..
One of the worst applications especially service they provide.. Last one month I sent 4-5 email still not solved my problem.
Lebenslauf hochgeladen -> gesehen, dass stepstone diesen nicht anonymisiert -> Lebenslauf löschen? Geht nicht ... man findet nur jahre alte forumseinträge dazu ... unfassbar
Keeps logging me out in the middle of my sessions since I started using stepstone app and on browser. Today I couldn't log in even if I use the link that has been sent to my email, kept saying "oops there was a problem". Finally I was able to log in only to see my profile is completely gone; my picture, my cv my certificates all gone.
One star as of the recent update I logged me out again and I cannot get back into it no matter password reset or auto login I try.

Fehlerhafte Einstellungen und kein SupportDie E-Mail-Einstellungen werden komplett ignoriert. Ich habe 4 Jobagenten auf 1 E-Mail pro Woche gestellt, bekomme aber ca. 8 Mails täglich!Den Support zu kontaktieren ist unmöglich: In der App fehlt die Empfänger-Mailadresse, weshalb sich zwar das Mailprogramm öffnet, aber leer bleibt. Auch das Kontaktformular auf der Webseite funktioniert nicht (mit 2 Geräten und 2 Browsern getestet - nichts wird gesendet).So leider nicht die beste Nutzererfahrung.
The overall design is good but the search feature & algorithm are garbage. When i look for jobs on Jooble, stepstone jobs pop up that I can't find on the app, no matter what i type in. Half the time, the search function doesn't even show ANY jobs, even when i select jobs suggested by the search bar and delete all filters. What good is a job search app with a faulty search function?
You can't chose your sector as you used to. It's useless without a large choice of sectors. Its a pity that I can't use it as I used in the Web version years ago.
It takes a lot to open the app and when it finally opens it just keeps loading just to have an error message about not having Internet access.
Poor results as compared to LinkedIn. Finding a specific job to your needs is bad compared to LinkedIn.
Recently (since a couple of months, now), every time I try to send out direct application from, I get a message "Sorry, there is an issue when trying to send out your application; please, try again later" I tried to re-install the app, cleaned Cash, force-stopped it, but nothing works. I am in Germany. Is there an issue with the App, now?
