testing this player out for an alternate. sound is good. interface is nice. I'm shocked that it can't/won't find album image art! most other players have zero problem with this. that's a deal breaker for me. @toriq - Whoever you are. Not my job to engage Dev to provide fundamental requirements that are so blatantly lacking from an app with a pay wall. I'm more than happy to pay for an app that works and meets my basic needs. This one did not. Welcome to the free market my friend.
When I want to sign in to pCloud I get the nonsense message: "You don't have an app that can do this". Developer replies to all messages with a standard reply and a link. So, he believes users don't know how to use his app. If he makes the app straightforward and logic, nobody needs to be puzzled how to use it.
does nothing. freezes on the first screen when choosing source. Edit: I don't care that this isn't helpful to you. You made a bad app.
Can't change or remove providers. Just bugs out and spins forever. Plex stopped working when off of wifi
couldn't even do initial setup to connect to my synology nas running minumserver.
wow, as an app with 5 star rating, this feels weird that it has every option I want, and I would buy it in a heartbeat until, I discovered that it doesn't like me to browse my music library as folders. it seems like this is a taboo that most developers have a "non-negotiable" stupid notion that they are "complicit" in pirating if they even dare to do it. look, you won't change the status queue just by locking this stupid feature. You lost a customer literally...
WARNING! EXTREME DATA VAMPIRE! ONLY USE WITH UNLIMITED PLAN! Despite setting Symfonium to only download from my Plex server at 256kbps, only buffer one song at a time on mobile and limit the buffer size to 100MB, it downloaded over a GIGABYTE of data to play 20 songs, absolutely crushing my 5GB data plan. It has no need to download that much data. I can't trust it, so I have to switch back to Plexamp. I paid for it because it worked great on WiFi, but on Mobile it just needs too much data.
I'm using this app for audio books and when it works, it's good! Randomly it will restart my book back to the very beginning and I'm struggling to figure out how to deal with this problem. I've looked thru the forums but the information provided there isn't terribly helpful as my menu options do not seem to be the same? As there really aren't many options available to listen to imported mp3 audio book files I'm really trying, I even went so far as to pay into it thinking that may help but nope.
this app works well enough as a music player for your server. however after reading an insanely toxic support thread exposing the dev's immaturity I cannot in good conscience give this higher than 2 stars. the dev makes a good app but jeez dude treat your users with a little more respect, and learn how to take criticism without melting down. and if the dev replies to this review with the same vitriol, my point will be proven
"free trial version" should be obviously visible BEFORE installing it and doing the all set-up
