they sell you a hub which is like over $300 and I can't even add it to the app it just keeps saying not found. I called customer support we spent over an hour on the phone trying absolutely everything under the sun I can't even add this device to the app. In my opinion there should be a class action lawsuit based on all of these terrible reviews about products not working but they seem happy enough to take our money.

Switching to a more reliably system will cost me several hundred euros... Beside that, tahoma is one of the worst home automation apps I've used in the last 15 years...

still using somfy in 2026? this is the worst piece of home automation software, period. 1. unintuitive and lacking features. 2. is able to mess up your already programmed blinds to where you need to factory reset them and re do the limits. I used to think of somfy as a premium brand, but I guess they've been sitting on their laurels for the past few decades and completely missed the train.

I can link my device and signup, but when I try to login, the app shows "An error has occurred". The app is not usable at all. Online/cloud portal should not be mandatory to control shutters.

This has got to be the very worst app I've ever tried to use. I've been trying to copy across 20 blinds registered to my Nina remote to the Somfy Tahoma switch. No joy. I've been using ChatGBT now for the past hour to help me out but still no luck. I've tried to use the web interface but it won't allow me to log in. My advice to anyone out there who reads this is do not buy Somfy products. Buy a Tuya compatible smart blind on AliExpress. They cost less and work better.

I had to migrate from a fully functional app to this. It used to be easy to turn a schedule on and off when I was going on vacation but now I can't even find where the schedule is. there is no "scenes" option or timing within my roller blinds device. Very frustrating! Update. I finally found where the scenes were. It was very unhelpful completely covered by an information banner at the bottom of the screen. It only appeared again once I forced a restart of the app.

The Somfy system is clearly led by engineers and needs user feedback to make it cleaner and more useful. The app is basic but I'm sure will develop over time to be far more powerful. The most concerning issue is the Tahoma Switch which does not have a stable connection rendering the app useless when it continually disconnected. A firmware update is urgently needed to the Tahoma Switch to stabilise the WiFi/Internet connection and also make the app to blind connection near instantaneous.

I bought a second TaHoma switch because we have a big appartment and half of the shades didn't work, with the 2nd Box I could use one for one half of the appartment and one for the other and it worked okay. NOW, they deleted the option for multiple TaHomas in one account and I cannot use it anymore. Like a 200€ brick laying around. Since years I struggle with Somfy and I don't have any nerves for this company anymore. DON'T BUY THIS STUFF it's absolutely unreliable.

After three years my TaHoma Switch lost connection to WiFi for no reason at all, and now it won't connect again through this app. I have reset the box multiple times, tried to turn off 5 GHz Wifi entirely on my network, tried with multiple phones ( two different Android and an iPhone). I connect to the switch via Bluetooth and then I get an unknown error when searching for wifi networks. I am furious.
