was a great app until everything changed, and you can't add a new language or a friend without a subscription, I used to love the app because it was like a small world in the phone but now it's like a bill collector who waits you to do anything so he can take your money.
i accidentally purchased a subscription through the app i hope it request a refund and i how can i contact the customer service of the app

Tandem became awful. There are too many ads. They'll force you to subscribe. Of I could I'll leave 0 star.
It used to be a really nice app but I need a membership for even the most basic functions like setting the languages I know. Honestly, just a cash grab and not much more
Tandem was amazing AT FIRST but it quickly became a frustrating experience. The app promises meaningful language exchange, but most conversations felt shallow and repetitive. I had issues that weren’t resolved clearly or FAIRLY. Overall, it didn’t live up to the expectations. FIND ANOTHER OPTION

This app sucks and banned my account after i got premium plus people there are very racist don't download it i recommend Hellotalk or Italkie
I've been using tandem for years but it's messages pretty much unusable now. Glitching is too bad. Messages not sending or ill reply to someone... then the person will change suddenly. Reported it and no reply and nothing done for weeks.
Disaster after last update, really bad. Tandem now is not what it used to be 3 years ago. And you ask people to pay for pro, for real?
horrible app. banned me for no reason?? it said others reported me, but all I was doing was being nice to others and helping them learn languages. don't get unless you want to have your trust destroyed.
The app crashes every time you hit the "go back" button. If you send a text you cannot leave the screen for at least 10 seconds, otherwise it will not be delivered. so chatting is extremely slow. Bug reports have been filed with no response. It might be time to look elsewhere.
I am currently waiting for about 5 weeks + no email, no information, just nothing... pathetic useless app The majority of the 5 stars reviews are most likely faked or bots...
Tolong kembalikan fitur pilihan banyak bahasa, itu adalah aplikasi andalan tandem dan autentik yang membedakan aplikasi lainnya. Hanya satu bahasa saja, pengguna tidak akan bebas peluang ini apalagi relasi banyak teman yang beragam. Kembalikan ciri khas tersendiri,& orang akan mudah berkenalan secara tulus tanpa mengandalkan beban biaya anggota. Padahal kebebasan sendiri bisa menjadi nilai tambah Tandem karena keberagaman. Pengguna lama akan pindah ke aplikasi lain. Pertimbangankan tolong!
it's not like before i mean for everything you should pay money
The app has become more and more buggy... From messages I sent hours ago turning out not to be delivered to chats being unable to load. It's a great app nonetheless and I use it daily, but this kind of neglecting is just becoming rather annoying
well after my yearly subscription ended . they logged me out and can't log in to my account again to even subscribe again
when you sign up,you have to wait up to 7 days to be accepted. I'm on day 9.i sent an email and no answer. what bad service before I even start. what a waste of time. I've installed HelloTalk and started using that straight away.use that app instead.

almost all features only available for premium subscribers. I understand if at most a half of all features was available for all, but as soon as you press a button it offers premium subscription. That is both annoying and very unfair.

I was never even able to use this app and the application thing is insanely stupid. I was never approved and my only option is to delete all of my "application." Dont waste your time, this app sucks.

My account was HACKED. Tandem did NOT help me. Despite MANY attempts and requests, instead of resolving the issue, Tandem banned my account. But they KEPT my money for subscription and also the paid services such my language certificates. I'm currently looking to take them to court should this not be resolved. I cannot in good conscience recommend this app. TOO MANY PROBLEMS. No resolutions. Customer service is POOR AT BEST. I'm not the only one who has this experience, just Google it...

couldn't even use. downloaded and for a message saying "we will review your application, may take up to 7 days". Firstly why do I have to fill out an application? I didnt download a job app. second, there shouldnt be such a long approval time. wont try it again. thanks for wasting my time

Everyone got banned for not having their picture on this app.Hellotalk,Hilokal and bigo allows us to have any picture that's appropriate,not our face.Allow people to have any Appropriate picture they want.
What happened to this once amazing app? It used to be amazing. Now it runs so slow, buttons don't work, messages frequently don't send, sometimes the whole app crashes, all while burning through the phone battery. The desktop version works miles better.
This app has been bloated recently, probably too much vibe coding. The chat is really difficult
