I am now 40 minutes waiting to speak to someone about having money in both checking and savings and being unable to use either as all my transfer from savings to checkings on a Sunday as upheld until posted Monday. I literally have 23km left on my tank of gas, at a gas station with over 4k in my savings of which I transferred 200 to my checkings YET I CANNOT USE IT. I have to go to work tomorrow and I can even get out of of a gas station in the middle of nowhere after pulling a 13 hour shift.

Used to work, but I can't log in or enable biometrics in this app version. Unable until fixed.
It all worked well for me until a recent glorious update, after which I can't use my fingerprint sensor to sign in. When I login with the password and try to enable the fingerprint sign-in in the settings, it tells me that my phone doesn't have a fingerprint sensor.or if it does, it's not enabled. Useless to say that I use the fingerprint to log into many other banking apps or other things.

would give 5 stars if a client was able to close accounts online without having to deal with having to call and talk to someone
Poor customer service. Misleading information. Missing banking information. Decent savings%. It says simple. Yet many things are support complicated. Why didn't the app load more than the last 5 items? Why can't I change the date range? Basic simple features absent or dysfunctional. Edit: thanks for the reply which once again ignores any real effort for reconciling your endless mistakes that cost us money. Their support hangs up on you automatically almost every time and they blame it on you.
Extremely opaque and frustrating credit card applications. Unusable if you randomly get declined the first time.

DO NOT MAKE AN ACCOUNT JUST FOR BIKESHARE. If you think of making an account because of bikeshare, they have nothing no connection. The other doesn't understand what other means.

went from being the best bank around to nothing but a pain to use. careful you don't look at your phone wrong or your account might get frozen until you call them, request a callback, then get one and still sit on hold for an hour. The upside, is that at least they'll randomly do maintenance without announcing it when you need money the most!
App won't download, website won't work. As soon as I can get my money out I will.

I created a chequings account and a savings account with Tangerine. I gave you guys my social insurance number and driver's license and you guys asked to submit it all over again. Your app wasn't working and whenever I called your guys number My access code or client number wouldn't be accepted. I think this app is a scam trying to steal people's information. Because when I called the phone number on The Tangerine app and website. Hispanic people speaking Spanish answered and they were scammers.
Not compatible with my VoIP line. I had to pass 1 hour over the phone with the customer service to simply change my PIN because I was not receiving the SMS or call they were sending me to change the PIN. Do not use Tangerine bank if you live in a remote area and don't have cell services, you will be left stranded with your problems.

Horrible, can't move money out. I can initiate the transactions repeatedly without any money moving. Also they delivered the letter containing the debit card and guess what? No debit card was enclosed.
Requiring a verification text every time I try to use the app or website is extremely annoying. Why even have a 'remember me on this device' click box if it doesn't do anything? To top it off, it never sends the first time, you need to click 'resend' like 4-5 times before you actually receive anything. This and their lack of customer service has me shopping around for a new banking institution.
The most recent update broke my app. it never loads. it looks stupid now and I can never see any of my transactions ever. this has had a legitimate financial impact on me.
My account has been hacked, and I've lost money 3 times in the 2 years I've been at this bank. Absolute jokes. This bank is only free because they give your money away for free, apparently. This also happened to my sister and mother. If your bank can't keep accounts from losing THOUSANDS of dollars through 3rd party security breaches, your bank is a joke. Do not join this absolute joke of a bank unless you also want money randomly, leaving your account to be used on the other side of the world.
PIN doesn't match my login ID. Chat bot tells me to click the Forgot PIN link, there isn't one in website or app. There is a "Forgot Login" link that asks for my PIN again and I never get the email to reset anything. I call support, it asks for PIN again in a loop. I finally press zero enough times to get to a live person queue. Get a call back, I hear shuffling for about 10 seconds follow by a "hello?" I tell him the problem and he says that he's having "system issues" and hangs up

Chat-based support is terrible and just tries to close your case without actually helping. Phone support estimated a 10-minute wait but took over 70 minutes to get connected, only to be of no help. Incredibly bizarre just how bad their support is.
Tangerine stole over $400 from me and i have been fighting with them since January 6th to get it back.
terrible terrible company , the fact I'm getting spam called 21 times I'm a week over my credit card is ridiculous on top of also getting mail stating I'm behind on my payments. the only reason I stuck with you guys is because of the zero banking fees. I will not recommend anyone go with this Banking institution ever again
It won't let me log in
I opened an account and transferred money into this account for a 4.5% Interest promo. Luckily I didn't initially transfer ALL of my savings. They allowed the first deposit to go through and then the following day deemed my account "unverified"and locked my funds. I cannot withdrawal or add to the account because they require confirmation of my S.I.N. Why this confirmation wasn't required for the initial sign up? I have no clue, but now my money is being held hostage for at least week.NO ACCESS

The 'Goals' function doesn't work; also, the Goals function mandatorily includes fictional interest payments; my screenshot says I need to contribute $ZERO/month to attain YOUR goal of $1,200 CAD/month, which is half my CURRENT rent, thanks to my deposits and fund assets totalling $61 CAD. I do not need an arbitrarily fabricated "Goal", no one does; We NEED a Contribution Tracker.
I have frequent login issues and have changed login and passwords so often I will have to settle on one of each. Inhibits partner logins as well. Need to be able to login to change status. Frustrated and unhappy.
No live chat option and no way to access Visa Debit easily

The fingerprint sign-in option is not working! When I try to sign in with my fingerprint, I'm told the feature has been disabled and I'm asked if I'd like to re-enable it. So I sign in with my password and re-enable the fingerprint sign-in. Then the whole process repeats EVERY time I go to log in to Tangerine! And I get an email every time I re-enable it (very annoying)! Please fix!!
Actually stop changing the UI every 2 -3 months. I don't know what Web designer you hired that thinks that's a good idea. STOP IT.
