i really enjoy the games, unfortunately I'm giving a 1 star because a game "rewarded" me but i never received the ink and i sent a message for help and it's been almost a week with no response at all. it will stay 1 star until i am contacted and sent the missing ink.
I have had an issue with missing panels or them uploading the wrong chapter several times. I also hate how I have to wait five seconds before I tap anything every time I open the app. Otherwise I get teleported to their "do these things for free ink" portal because the ad takes up the entire screen and it always takes a few seconds before the x to close it appears. The best solution Ive found is uninstalling the app every time it starts showing the ad. Support replied they dont intend to fix it.
I dont appteciate your pop up that took over my entire screen and had no exit button. I coulsnt even access my home button or back button to get away from it without accidentally clicking on the ad which took me to another extremely intrusive advertisement that I struggled to get away from
well I downloaded it but it keeps stopping and it was worse when I open the comics...
I was not able to sign up on tapas
99.9% of the time the app and website doesn't even want to load it says the servers are shut down or crashed. so you can't even use the app or anything. and this is every time I go to open the app
Does not have any Manga that I'm searching app or the right Manga, that I'm looking for so this platform kind of disappointment,

Ink this ink that! can't even read with peace
chapters are way too expensive. good content but high chapter cost I will use the last of my little ink point thingies and then never come back. we're in a recession and this app will bleed you dry. just as bad as those like novel apps with over 500 chapters in each chapter.
have you ever wanted to watch an ad to rent five episodes of a manhua? Me neither! literally just use webtoon. I installed it originally for its more lead stance on adult content, then came the censorship and the enshittification soon followed.
Tapas will not ever allow you to finish even a single one of the stories they carry if you are poor. Other similar apps allow youto view ads in order to earn in-app currency if you can't afford to purchase it. Tapas absolutely blocks you from doing so. It has awesome stories, that you can never read to the end. Negative 100 out of 5 stars.
Too expensive
one can't be a writer here without having SURE and LARGE fanbase. Not for those starting out. and even as reader they only offer like 3-10 chapters free and the rest is paid. Inefficient app.
Don't ever use Tapas wall. Its eaten so much of time but also my money for nothing. They don't pay out their rewards and when you ask why they say because. Their customer service is either AI bots or simply terrible. You want to read the comics? Fine but do it for free don't waste your money here
The loading in the webtoons is horrible. I could be using wifi or my own internet, and I still have issues. I've been stuck on a new comic for 7 hours because after a certain chapter, it's not loading. All you see is nothing but a black background with the logo like some cheesy wallpaper. At least you can download comics and read them, right? No. It takes triple the amount of time to download a chapter. I can stream a show on my phone faster than I can read or download a chapter on this app

Fine if you have money, unfortunate if you don't. To add to this, all of these events for older comics only punish readers who have already unlocked the comic. How are you supposed to earn any ink by unlocking if you've already unlocked the whole comic. This app is just becoming a scam. Edit: Tapas is stinky. and bad

its good that these awesome creators have a platform but there are some ways this particular one is lacking. Just annoyed so I'll just take a break from it and see if it's any better in a couple of years. back and its still bad. worse as it has pop-ups you cant x out that take you wherever.
No way to filter by genre. How could you leave out such a basic & obvious feature?
I enjoy the app not for itself but the content it holds. I knocked off 2 stars because in comics/panels I have never even unlocked before will have the top 3 comments hearted/liked -March 2026, still an issue. I'd also like to add that while I enjoy the ads for unlocking episodes, I would LOVE the option to unlock ALL episodes via ads. I would watch 12 for 1 episode! I'm knocking off a 3rd star for notifications, unless turned completely off via phone, the app keeps turning ALL of them on.
I having problems seeing the webtoons some times only half or quarter way threw and ot uses coins lots off them

I have selected several Manga to read and I wait for them to become free. I have come across quite a few Manga now that you wait the time frame and it shows up in the free period tab but when you click on the next episode it is asking you to buy ink in order to read it. I have flagged and reported the problem but none of the episodes are getting fixed. They say they look at the reported issues immediately but I am not seeing that at all. If issues don't get fixed soon will give up on this site.

The people running this app have made various changes over the years in an attempt to wring more profits from the userbase. It's gotten to the point where it's essentially ruined the experience unless you're willing to fork out a lot of money. The character limit here prevents me from giving enough details, but needless to say: You're better off using Webtoons. There, you can at least read a full series without needing to pay! Webtoons is better for independent authors as well! Just go there!
