Was good at the beginning, but later, the app wouldn't open at all
warning fraud alert. They keep withdrawing even though I've had my service since April do not use them do not download the app do not provide any payment information.

good storyline but the pause to send you back to homepage after watching a video. I loved the storyline but way to expensive coins are hard to come by and it cost 61 or 64 coins to open next chapter. I was in 3. no thanks...

I have been charged repeatedly for this and dont have a subscription anywhere. I have messaged them and get the ru. around. I even canceled my card and got a new one. Im still being charged.
so, I have a balance (enough to unlock chapters) but it won't show up no matter how many times I uninstall/reinstall the app. they want you to take a screen shot but the app doesn't allow that. I can't access my balance for chapters and it wants me to purchase more coins. not only that but you have to jump through hoops to get your free coins(that i now can't use for some reason) and they eventually expire. don't waste your time. this app sucks.
Do NOT use this app! These people are scammers! I had an issue with the coins not syncing to the chapter page free coin count, and for over a week the stupid AI chat bot kept saying the same thing, but not actually helping nor did any CS agent even address me. I signed in everyday, watched videos, and other ways to get free coins in order to unlock and read books. However,the chapter page never updates to the current coin count, so I lost over 200 free coins and they lost a customer.
"Continue reading" is a scam. After downloading the app the story that suckered me in was nowhere to be found. Don't waste your time.

I don't like the fact that after watching ads to get free coins, the game will just crash and bundle wasted.

you might get 3 free chapters. the rest you pay for. they changed a lot about the app when they redid it. all intended on shorten how many free chapters you actually get. I was already going to delete the app over the bugs even though they have some good books & authors because of all the ads & bugs in it. I will be deleting it for sure now

I downloaded the app from an add which says in very big words that it's all chapters of every novel is free and when I downloaded it, the very first thing the app ask to spend money to buy chapters like literally giving false information so that people download your app I am very disappointed.

I just discovered the app has been charging my Google credit card $26.99 a week for the last month without my consent and without a way to cancel/ refund these charges. will be deleting as soon as I get my money back.

NOT free! Very expensive! Buyer beware. I paid $25/mo and now can only get to chapter 64 of a 325 chapter book? WTH?! Now I spend more time watching/reading ads than I do reading the novel! At least NovelaGo App had totally free options. Other apps you can get a free trial ... or pay $15 for unlimited reading for one week then cancel afterwards. So I UNINSTALLED Tapon. What a rip-off. Now got complete works (by same author) on Kindle for $3. Go figure.
They refuse to fix their video ads and keep telling me "try again later". Well there is no later. It doesnt work and they are lazy and dishonest and will blame anything but their app.

I literally just downloaded this app, and it claims I'm under 12! It doesn't even allow me to alter the age choice. Other book apps I've downloaded have asked for my D.O.B to confirm my age (to which I do not lie about at all, unlike some people nowadays). I really wanted to read the book from the advert, too.
The book I am reading is awesome! BUT the app itself is a pain in the bum! the adds don't work and this book was so good I actually spent money to read, the money disappeared on chapters I had already read! really disapointed 😞 the app always starts 3 chapters before the chapter you are actually reading even when signed in. bitterly disapointed in this app And now I find i have to keep writing this review because it won't let me submit it! the adds are really unresponsive mostly Temu
terrible, they give you only 3 chapters free, to get you to want to read more, and then demand you pay DAILY to read without ads, or you have to watch a ton of ads, and ONLY 2 more chapters unlock, and then no more ads for you to try to get further in the story..NO other story app that I have come across is so horribly driven by money & greed as this app...I am deleting and NEVER coming back...I feel sorry for the people who make these stories, and publish them on this site...such a waste
Zero stars if I could. Ad says very clearly ALL CHAPTERS FOR FREE on the book being advertised but its only the first few chapters. It's shameful th3 way they can just lie about their content!
This app had a story that I greatly enjoyed but when you get to the part that is locked the subscription price is outrageous. I'm not paying $80 a month for this.
TOO EXPENSIVE 🫰🏻 When did subscriptions to low-rated and barely edited (AI) content cost more than my yearly subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Viki, and Amazon combined? Do yourself a favor and skip this app unless you have LOTS of money to burn. Just put a prompt in ChatGPT or Gemini and have them tell you a story that would be better edited - and cheaper 🤦🏻♀️
What a nightmare app! So many complaints from reviews about being expensive, can't cancel subscription lack of customer service etc. I've paid for subscription and the entire app has gone blank on me! Poof...bye bye my money😫

Horrible! I purchased the $59.99 monthly unlimited reading package and it doesnt work. I tried the short stories and it asked me to purchase it and then says I already have it but won't allow me to read anything without coins. I want a refund! I have tried customer service for 4 days now with no resolution or even attempt at fixing it. they keep saying I am buying coins but it is not coins! it is the unlimited reading for 1 month. if they cant fix something this simple, why charge?
I am reading 1 book, have completed everything available to collect free coins. I paid $14 in purchased coins. Despite all of that, I am only on Chapter 37 & unable to continue. Plus the character names & gender keep changing. I pay $13 a MONTH for unlimited reading on kindle yet $14 isn't enough to pay for 1 book? . Definitely not worth downloading.
Have been trying to read several stories but keep running into the same problem. Coins. They are required to keep unlocking chapters and continue reading. However when going to unlock a chapter I will have the required amount of coins but still be unable to unlock the next chapter. I reached out to customer service. I was told that when unlocking the next chapter I would be informed as to which tier coins I would need. Not the case. It just says "xx coins".
LIARS. they claim it's free but you have to pay to read the same old storylines that can be found for free elsewhere. I will not even waste my time.
Found the cancel subscription but still not coming back. I like the books and content however I am uninstalling for the same reason I did last time. I get double charged for a chapter I unlock and the free coins I get from watching certain ads are unavailable to use until they expire on their own. I have already spent more then I should to finish this book but the couns disappear to fast so I can not finish.
Edit: Turns out the coins do disappear. I try to log in everyday for a week so I can read multiple chapters. Pretty disapointing. I have 2 other apps that have had coins on them for months. As soon as I'm done reading this book, I'll be deletin this app. The books are good & not censored which is great! You can check in everyday to build up your coins & they don't dissappear, which is awesome when you find a good book & want to binge read.
Rewards dont seem to be granted when the should be for completing tasks and everything is very glitch with the rewards program. Everything is misleading and far to expensive.
some of the stories seem interesting, but all the chapters are hidden behind a pay wall. $179.99 USD for a year for some limited reading or $20 that only gets you 10 chapters. I enjoy supporting authors, but not when the app makes so much money but the authors themselves barely make anything. Yes there are ways to get "free coins" but not even enough to unlock 3 chapters & you have to click on ads that want you to sign up for ads that cost more than the app alone do. don't waste phone space.
there is no way to cancel, and they charged me without my authorization. no one gets back to me on the chat.
Daylight robbery. Will not be recommending this as this will force you to a stravagant subscription for a short story. if they have options to pass each chapter by your available coin then then that will be fine just like some other reading apps. Its an unbelievable experience to purchase coins at the lowest tier but you cannot read a chapter of your fave story as it has a different subcription scheme. Greatly disappointed as I would really love some stories but this is not catered for me.
I tell you if you get the short stories subscription and then try to cancel you can't because you can't find it and when you contact them they say they can't cancel it on you behalf they talk to you through text and still don't help then they want a survey. So im currently stuck and they get 16.99 a week that I have yet to cancel because I can't find it on Google as I was asked or in history on tapon as I was ask to so I want to know how do you cancel if all avenues are closed.
I thought buying a subscription would get me all the book and it does not.... this is a scam
