The app has gotten really bad. Since December, I haven’t been getting normal jobs anymore. My monthly earnings on TaskRabbit dropped from around $6,000 to barely $200-300 a month. It honestly feels ridiculous. Sometimes it even feels like someone is stealing the work from there !!!

this isnt a serious company. requesting any sort of customer service help is a joke. repetitive responses. circular help. I was having difficulty getting verified. I finally got it sorted out and the app still says I need to contact customer service because the app still thinks my verification failed. i reached out to customer service and they said it might be a little bit before the system updates. we live in an era of real time settlements and instant communication. its been days. waiting.

I paid my fee and still haven't got no Tasker yet I set up everything still nothing and that's been a while now that's crazy
Don't waste your time. Been unable to access my account for months. Customer service has been of no assistance. Shame, really enjoyed it.
This is great for getting work, but the app force closes repeatedly for hours at a time. This affects my response rate, as there is no way to check messages and book tasks through the website. When I researched the issue I'm having, this seems to have been going on for over a decade with no solution! If you won't fix the app, at least set up the website to be used by taskers and not just clients. I have someone waiting for a response right now and my hands are tied.
out of touch with the demographic that uses this app(really poor people). wants an ID (don't have one) and $25. just uninstall it and go on Craigslist.

Not a thing to show for it. seems like a scam to me.

Will let you select Canada when you add you phone number but does not know that postal codes exist. It's like a zip code but we put a few letters in

I HAD TO LEAVE AND GO PURCHASE THE RIGHT PARTS FOR THE TASK TO WHICH THE CLIENT NOR TASKER REIMBURSE ME FOR... WHEN I BROUGHT IT UP AND EXPRESSED MY FRUSTRATIONS... TASKER SIMPLY BANNED MY ACCOUNT... These folks are rude. Support doesn't know a lot You will get fluffed off Oh it's free BUT MANDATORY You pay $25 with CREDIT CARD as a DONATION WHEN SIGNING UP I WAS TOLD BY READING THE APP is average Tasker would make somewhere between $113 to $130 a week so that by investing $25 to be on the app you should recoup it fast. well 2 months in and I haven't gotten any jobs I did have two offers when I first started but my knee couldn't handle it and I haven't gotten anything since. 8-1030 7days/wk
They essentially scammed me for $25 for the background check. Got one response from customer service and no follow up at all. Check never got done. $25 gone
First job on here got scammed by Nigerian guy ... and received a negative review from him.. FML 😂 Be carefull which customers you take and get them to make changes on tasks on the app before you start doing the job as the Tasker customer service won't be able to do much to help you ... stay safe out there 🤣
Barely in any state..... barely works when it is in your city. literally impossible to get verified
The system dropped me with no reason to the 4th page in the client's search after 4 months being top 2. Within 3 months I'm still there, at the 4th page. more than 350 5-stars reviews, more than 1500 completed tasks.
I've tried to register twice, once in 2025 and once in 2026, and I can't get past the identity verification. The options aren't set up for Canadian users and the service is extremely inflexible when it comes to (eg) moving addresses or having a shortened name. If you encounter an error at the ID step, you can't troubleshoot on your own, and it's impossible to contact support.
although they made some major improvements to the app, it still has major deficiencies. it does not allow you to have direct link to your preferred calendar and only accepts Google calendar and maybe sometimes Outlook but not other calendar systems. they allow people to create task after midnight. no matter why the task is canceled the Tasker is always blamed. UPDATE: App will only send notifications when app is open and on the screen....causing me to miss tickets.
One of the worst apps I've used in a very long time.
Love the Platform itself but the App for Android is terrible. Not able to utilize the app when needed with continuous crashes and support is no help whatsoever. Sent everything they've asked for done all the troubleshooting and still no help.
Now you don't need reviews or a profile description. People aren't looking for you in the search results. The system now assigns you automatically, and often people don't even have the app, making it very difficult to contact them. Also, everyone will be assigned roughly the same number of tasks per month, so you won't be able to earn much.
seriously regret paying these people to set up an account. it has constant notifications and wont even list me as an option for doing work. I am okay not being picked for a job. but I should at least be listed. it will litteraly list NO ONE IS AVAILABLE, instead of listing me as an option. "I have 0 reviews on my profile, brand new user. wont give me a chance."
I would like to thank you for never returning my emails. I can only imagine the awesome lack of support you provide to your tasker. It's really annoying to make a new account every time I want to log in and check my area.

I'm having the worst experience with their AI support assistant, it's the worst ever. I have a simple question and it literally keeps saying "Let me know how I can help" after I ask a question every time, it's broken and will not connect you to a live person which is just horrible. This needs fixed or changed to just live people because AI is trash
Account activation is terrible can't get identified with different tipe of IDs will leave 0 stars if possible and also the app freezes and doesn't work properly. it got me angry several times I'm just about to leave it definitely and not to come back
I was trying to download the app for side work. but it wouldn't even let me register because it said there was enough taskers in my area. lame.
I signed up 2 months ago, I took the on boarding class and I still haven't received a gig. I have 8 services offered and I live near a big city. I offer same day services, but still nothing. The only notifications are for more classes.

I need more than 500 characters. I find this app to be unhelpful can't get many jobs I myself only get about four jobs a month through it and I can't get paid on time you will end up waiting long periods to get your payment off of a small job and now without my consent they have started splitting payments would you may not see the second one payment for more than 5 days customer service is unhelpful an unprofessional just try to push you off the phone

Even 1 star is too much. This app simply doesn’t work. I can’t log into my account because it keeps saying “incorrect password”, even though I’ve tried multiple email addresses and passwords. Nothing works. I had the same issue four years ago, and before that they even deleted my newly registered account. I only created a new one because I couldn’t access the old one for the same reason. Very frustrating and a complete waste of time.
I've left my original review down below. This app use to be super, but now the CLIENT is ALWAYS RIGHT! SENSATIONAL.. I've come across and met dozens and dozens of great people within families and organizations. It's linked me to people who have needed a little help and has challenged me to help people in life changing ways. The rating on the app is not remotely close to how phenomenal this app is. Please start collaborating with Facebook to get out there more and help more people
the most useless app I have ever used. "Johnny" from customer support took 40 minutes to copy & paste a response. Don't waste your time signing up or paying the background check fee. FYI they don't do background checks and the fee is non refundable.
Tasker for years now. Can not get help to save my life. Tried multiple times. Spoke with reps trying to get to a supervisor. No luck. Have not been able to work with app for almost a month now. They still have not resolved my issue. So disappointed with company. We were doing so good prior to their last software update.
