Even after enabling all kinds of debugging options, installing Shizuku or whatever is name, and plenty of other stuff that app says to do. Only after I was counting on everything being set, that hotspot cannot be enabled because of some recent version of android. Hours spent, giving up security of the phone, having to login to xiaomi account, having to connect to wifi just for app to fail to deliver when condition to enable hotspot was met.
Very complex setup
spent hours trying to get "Simple" voice commands working, I have tried voice engines that claim to install then show up under plugins that don't show up, I have tried autovoice, I have tried google, I have tried getting those already setup enviroments to work. if this can't work consistently then maybe it shouldn't be on the Google ploy store, I am over it at this point

This app used to work great but for some reason it doesn't auto connect to hotspot when in my car anymore?? Once I set the auto hotspot in tasker I never have to touch anything on my phone coz tasker would do it automatically but now I have to do it manually even tho I've set it in tasker... Also the software in this app has changed after android's update to 16 where as now because of this I need to download another app called shitutzu which I might add is totally useless to access tasker!!!

on android Google pixel 10... it s a nightmare 15 authorisation to be asked and allow... 1 is missing and impossible to know how to allow it... !!!! it s just a nightmare.... and really not user-friendly at all...
spent hours and hours trying to get a hands free "Hey Grok" routine going on my Android 12 phone. load auto this, load auto that, load auto license this, getting all the way down to trying to isolate the Grok microphone (get grok into voice mode) using point or element ONLY TO RECEIVE "SORRY, WE DIDNT GET THAT." And now, I can't find the red refund button that I saw. I'm done.
This app might 'automate everything' but it involves downloading other add-ons (which are pretty vague) to enable it to work properly. I've downloaded some of the 'easy' automations and they don't work without extra bits of software. I now find that I get random 'No tasker profile selected' messages popping up on my phone so I'll uninstall it. I also get notifications warning of Tasker using too much battery. Make sure you use the 7 day trial. I didn't and have wasted my money.
hello, can I get a refund I used it for 5 minutes and realized it cannot do dtmf automation which I wanted. Google blocked my refund request which is the first time I've seen this.
This app really hasn't me wondering about all the things I haven't been doing with my phone. It really has nearly unlimited options. So far, I have only used it for a few fairly simple things I wanted to have automated, but the more I think and read about it, the more I imagine all the possibilities. This app is definitely more for the tech-savvy types out there. The typical user won't want to mess with it. It's complicated, and not exactly intuitive. The learning curve is also pretty steep. But once you begin to understand what it does, and how, you will realize the power behind it.
Did not work on my phone and they would not refund steer clear. Will be raising a charge back with my bank.
all i want is to turn off my WiFi at 8am and back on at 5.30 pm but it's literally so complicated i gave up
Too unreliable. I understand it's ultimately Google's fault for making breaking changes all the time, but if I'm going to pay for an app, I want it to work.
This app doesn't operate on my s22 ultra. No error, all I'm trying to do is open google Voice put a phone number into the to: field after selecting text message and then have it enter the text message into the message field and have it ready for me to hit send.
I tried a simplething: to lock the screen rotation while using google maps. Well No! app bugs you a million times wanting access to internet and access to all files on the phone. and in the end it does not even do it. Waste of time, avoid!
The YouTube video is also not clear about many things. I am a developer, but I can't use this easily; maybe it is not working on my device, Google Pixel 8.
good app, but having several projects sucks because they overlap their variables also the scene creator doesn't gridsnap properly. it would be nice to have a way for %http_data to update as data is sent so streamed http requests work. other than that good app, I personally used it to make ai assistant. edit: it doesn't let me use because i disable play services saying trial over and i need to install from playstore

I can't stand tasker. It genuinely sucks - buggy, outdated, unintuitive UI, weird behaviors, etc. I keep giving it more chances only to be let down again and again. It's usually faster, easier and far more satisfying to just build a custom apk in android studio. Uninstalling for good this time...
First of all, this app doesn't automate everything. And even if it does, you have to buy some other plugins and there are a miriad of them. Second, you need Android development knowledge, otherwise you might do nothing. Third, the support is basically non-existent, your requests are read only briefly and the advice is off-topic. Conclusion: waste of time and money (not necessarily in this order).

I'm experiencing significant input lag with AutoNotification buttons. The actions aren't failing, but they take an excessive amount of time to trigger (frequently over 60 seconds). I have already tested this on both the beta and stable releases, and the delay persists in both versions.
I know that this app is supposed to be very powerful, but it's not at all intuitive. Trying to setup anything in this app is impossible without hours of reading. Apps should be straightforward and use standard automation language and patterns... this one does not. Waste of money unless you want to spend your time researching.
Does not do what I want it to do. Can't trail the app so I purchased it thinking I could get a refund of it did not do as I needed. Cannot get a refund as it does not meet Google's refund policy. Great. Now I just wasted my money.

complex and drained my battery life even on a newer phone deleted it , works but a waste of money
I understand that it's hit by problems that Android pushes in security updates. However, it's constantly needing other installs or back door tweaks to get around issues. Or, it just stops being able to do it. Support seems to be semi-generic emails that don't help. Paid, but questioning what for. Almost all automations are blocked or hampered.
