This is what you get when News Corp buys a decent idea. No real benefit in subscribing to the app when you get the same features thru the web page. Unable to edit favorites easily is a pain in the proverbial. I like to save recipes into an Untested cookbook then move into one of my others if I enjoy it. This is an absolute mission with this mob. Also for some reason cookbooks will randomly duplicate themselves and there is no way to merge them or anything useful.

If I could I would give it Zero stars. I can't read the recipes for the adds. They are everywhere. What do I pay the monthly fee for! Absolute rubbish!
Don't waste you time, requires a subscription just to look at recipes. What a rort. You get 10 free recipes I had 5 so that means you can look at at recipes 10 times, so if you look at a recipe go into a different one then back to the other one, that is 3 of your 10 used up. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Absolute ripoff - costs after 10 recipes.
I subscribe to the app and have been doing so for a while. Now it won't recognise my subscription and says I have used up my allocated free recipes.... not very impressed
Used to be great, until recently. I have been a paying subscriber for some time. Suddenly, it's telling me I only have 10 free recipes left & that I need to subscribe. I contacted the app developer-they said contact Google Play. I contacted Google Play & you guessed it - they said contact the app developer. It's so frustrating.
You have to pay to see recipes
Login to the app or website does absolutely nothing. I have just cancelled my subscription because I have found I get nothing for it. waste of time and money. I've sent several emails with no response. Checked out the reviews to find this issue was being raised in here back past 2019. No response to any of them either. Really not worth your effort. Not even worth $1 per month. Could be great with just a little effort though.
Wow it makes you pay for recipes.
I have used this app for years and paid for a subscription to save my favourites - now I cannot see any of my favourites and my subscription has disappeared - even though the payment is still coming off my credit card. Would not recommend using this app.
Not even worth 1 star.......Absolutely garbage now, the upgrade is actually a downgrade- lost all my saved favourites. I'll find am alternative app now.

Have been trying for 4 months to get someone to look into why I can't log into the account I've had for years. Terrible support and response times, they are now ignoring me. App itself is simple to use and recipes are okay. Just buggy
I go to open a recipe and it goes backto the plays tore. IT IS INFURIATING.
As a very long-term Taste user, I'm very disappointed with this so-called 'upgrade'. I'm disgusted a search for a simple Mung Bean Curry revealed nothing, nada, zip... unbelievable. My Go To Recipe site has been sold and, in puting THEIR stamp on the new app, then making us to PAY for this disaster means. All my recipes, reviews and categories have been deleted. As they're gone, at 63, I'm off to find a site with more forethought and finesse. SHAME, Coles, SHAME.

Paid for app - keeps shutting down Checked for updates, cleared cache all the usual. It's definitely at the app end. There are two recipes so far I cannot successfully open... and counting.

In the app it states a 30 day free trial and then you go to subscribe and it's only a 7 day free trial!
On their website it had the meal plan I was looking for, but when I signed up and searched for it, there was nothing. That's rubbish!

I installed this app ages ago. Then they unsubscribed me and revived all my saved recipes. Now I have to pay to use it.

Uninstalled. No content without buying their magazines. If I want to spend the same money as the print version, I will have the physical edition every time.

Keeps crashing. Some recipes are OK but a growing number just crash and won't load. Both on Apple phone and Samsung s7 tablet

Terrible. Had the old version and loved it. Downloaded this and deleted almost immediately - difficult to use, doesn't show previously saved recipes, no dashboard and wants you to pay.
Can't link your online account to the app meaning I can't veiw my saved recipes and you have to pay for this where as online is free.
Zero stars if I could, was great when you just use a search engine to find a recipe, no it directs to app, which I downloaded and regretted almost immediately, spam emails and messages. Now I can't turn these off, if you go to account settings to turn off notifications, it sends you google pay, you open this and it goes back to settings, and around and around you go.
Unable to save favourite recipes. How come developers aren't acknowledging and fixing!!!!
