The TD Easy Trade app fails at basic usability. You can set up recurring transfers easily in-app, but if you want to cancel them, you are forced to call customer support and wait on hold. That is unacceptable for an app that is supposed to be self-serve. If a feature can be created in seconds, it should be removable just as easily. This design wastes time and makes no sense for a modern trading app.
no good
thay said+2 satelment but thy take a week for satelment without satelment you can't sell your stock and after week your profit is gone and your in loss and thay doesn't give you live price . don't open TFsA account in it because you can't move your holding by your self
Closed my account after TD rug-pulled everyone's HELOC.
Terrible. Not easy at all. TD made this to compete with Wealthsimple, but it's the same old lazy and slow TD experience. Asks to accept tracking always even after accepting. Doesn't show holdings when trying to sell. Amounts in portfolio don't update even hours after transferring USD out. Still not linked to my TD banking accounts despite calling 4 times to link. Need to call to transfer between registered accounts. Doesn't "lock" money already in use for orders. Don't bother with this app.
Every time I tried to log in to td easy trade, this app collapsed. How am I going to use it?
This app does not work. Crashes every time I try to open. Have tried everything, no fix.
This is a horrible app only runs on Andriod and IOS no windows no chrome OS (its so sad it doesn't even work on chrome tablet even though most Android apps are compatible)
I cannot make any buy/sell orders since the new update, and the app is no longer available for tablets. I am now using my phone (S23 Ultra) and wanted to trade, but it's impossible. We need a reliable app for our money. The new version should be an opt-in beta, not forced.
New version no longer compatible with my Android tablet, and I can't update the app through the Play Store.
My budget Android 14 tablet ran the previous version for 1 year with no issues , now this awful update cannot work on my tablet. I tried installing it on android 16 2026 tablet and i stll get "this app won't work on your device" Google Gemini says issue is strict security by developer, yet the Td app installs just fine. If there are security risks why not with the basic Td app? Why should I spend over 300 dollars to satisfy your stupid requirements?
New version is awful! Order status on an open order should be displayed at the top of first page along with watchlists that are useful to make a trade from a watchlist. The accounts should be first to be displayed not total balance and useless performance chart. Worst of all if you try to sell a security the app asks either the quantity or dollar value! How stupid! I want to sell all the shares! If i own 45.45397 shares you expect me to fill in this quantity and risk making an error?
recent updates made my experience even worse. asset allocation doesn't even work properly would not recommend
Open orders screen no longer displays bid/ask prices, only the order price. There is no menu to access features, such as order status, and you need to scroll down on a home page to find it. This upgrade is terrible for trading. I want to go back to the previous version.
UI and experience is poor.
The good : The main screen is easier to see all account. The Bad : When you go to Sell a stock. it doesnt say how many stock you have, you have to go back to main screen to see it and then input it manually. and to make it worse, once you have typed in the amount of shares to sell and you want to refresh the page to see the updated price, everything gets cleared, so you have to input the amount of shares to sell again. This is by far the worse downgrade from this new app. totally unacceptable !
Finally improvements into the ui!! There needs to be a button that you hit to automatically calculate the amount of max shares you can buy with your current funds. For example if a stock price is $2 and you have $800 you hit the max button it automatically calculates 400 shares. That was easy math, but try it when stock price is say $13.23 and you have $12,678 in funds and you want to use up all the funds.....
my app not working on my Android 16 cell phone. but working on iphone. but on iphone I can not sell more than 999 shares. have to sell 999 and then 301 if I want to sell 1300 shares. keep crashing on my Android 16 phone. btw old version worked well on my Android phone.
The app doesn't live up to it's purpose, design and quality that you'd expect by a reputed bank. Many glitches. Setting up an account is difficult, one due to it not accepting a password that meets suggested criteria. There's no browser support to be able to operate from a computer - CS reps sell this limitation as a feature.
no longer opens. freezes phone.
There should be a ZERO star option for reviews. Horrible App. You can not do muchon this app. Trade specially selling won't work and when you call they have no idea what you are looking at on the app.
scam
Terrible and buggy.
hard to see the return and fund facts of td etf portfolio, can't see list of all available td etf to purchase. some of them I short list on my list but now I can't see their historical returns year wise. only able to see the graph. in that way I can't compare between funds
App immediately crashes upon startup. There's also no progressive web-app, so I can't manage my money unless it's through the app that won't start. Terrible experience. Would give it zero stars if I could.
TD's easy trade app is harder to use than the normal td's web broker app
annoying survey covering data
It's so hard to use. it takes so long for your stocks to become available. it's glitchy my money's slow. everything is slow in the app. I really really hate this app
confused
UI is BS
not enough choice
lol loses the whole screen on scrolling. Just the green background
Stop asking for my pronouns or how I identify. It's mental. Also, on the 'my portfolio' page, when I refresh the page, the 'sort by' gets messed up.
more like torture. brutal app. not very helpful.
the layout was easier to read on Webbroker. It gave you everything share price, current % change, etc on the same screen. This does not. Why can't you show some consistency with anything TD does? It would make it easier for your clients when switching from webbroker to easy trade, but then again, TD never thinks of that impact.
I want to view my account not play Mandatory update that only updates more TD product placement ads. Really bad.
I’ve tried multiple times, including using in-app support, and keep getting the same runaround or being told to wait a few days. Nothing has been resolved. This has been an extremely poor experience with the TD app and is unacceptable.
huge wait time
it's not so easy. it just keeps making me sign up over and over. I don't understand why. I thought it would be user friendly but I just gave up trying to figure it out
I can't use the app on my computer.
absolute scum company. this platform is garbage and their sole purpose is to gouge their customers. do not invest your money with TD you will save hundreds of $ a year almost anywhere else with a better trading platform. Commision free etfs is a total lie.
a lot of useless information cluster screen making it hard to find what I need.
Trash app, it's a wonder why TD makes life so complicated for their customers. Every single time I make an account on EasyTrade, it says that the account isn't valid for EasyTrade. So it prompts me to make another one. Well which one of these three accounts that were made on EasyTrade will actually be usable by EasyTrade? Anyways, you've lost a customer in me. I love how everyone at TD says "it's quick and easy." With all the bugs in your apps? Nah.
not working for the last 5 days.
I don't like the UI.
horrible app, can't even see how many shares I have when selling
this app is anything but easy. buying stocks is a pain in the as. constant new screens. just show a list and let me filter instead of your search nonsense. WS has its issues but at least it's easy
TD easy trade is a very dated app/product and has a horrible UI as well. pros: 50 free trades a year zero commision TD etfs cons: -requiring a separate app/platform with separate accounts -unable to hold non TD etfs -horrible UI. You can't even see the total value of each holding without clicking a drop down arrow. td easy trade should always been incorporated into TD DI. No other bank/broker operates like this. BMO, BNS, RBC offer a wider free etf selection without a separate app
App blanks out on every scroll - stays blank for a good 2 seconds before ui is renderer again. Takes a lot of patience to use this thing.
