I thought this looked good at first but find it gives a confusing list of irrelevant definitions. It assumes the word is in Maori regardless of which language you select. It defines "mean" as "tāmoe, to press flat" or "whakapua, to cause to smoke". This dictionary is an insult to the Māori language. Sadly uninstalling it.
I would like to ascertain why I have an account for this app when I don't even use it?
I paid and downloaded the app on my mobile however when I put a word in to search it's not doing anything at all could you please give feedback or suggestions why?
The new update means I cannot use Te Aka offline, which is the entire reason I bought it. If I am online I just use a browser. Hey, I had the off line version, then a up grade came and made it a on line version, WITH OUT MY PERMISSION. NOT HAPPY AT ALL, IM NOT ON LINE MOST OF THE TIME AND TRYING TO LEARN TE REO. I WANT THE OLD OFF LINE BACK AS I PAID FOR. THIS NEW SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE BOTH. Tried to contact the system for help, but none has come so far. HELP, HELP, HELP. MICHAEL.
The old version was better, this new app is hōhā
I accidentally deleted the app. I have a paid subscription and now it wont install. I now live in ozzy

My Māori Dictionary just disappeared!... no notificaton. Found this, downladed it, but it does not display an Icon on my Galaxy Ultra...God knows what I'm gonna do as I always need a dictionsry! The actual app seems ok but what da hell!

slow to open. does not handle back button properly. no etymologies for words.
I like how Google will give you an answer even if you have spelt something wrong. Nothing comes up on here. That could be a helpful upgrade - if possible. I searched the phrase given for the day today so I could see in what context I could use it in, and it doesn't come up on here, but does on Google. Searching woman, wāhine doesn't come up, but if you search wāhine, it comes up meaning woman. I like how it gives you types of woman, but not the exact translation?
New update says that the dark mode features have been overidden but they have also changed other layout features. I liked the old version because it had Tā Derek, now it's a cartoon.
Much preferred the Māori Dictionary. Got sound by a reboot but no copy /paste is a let down. Will use web version of Māori Dictionary more often I would say.
Love this app but for some reason it won't let me use the audio function, it use but now all of a sudden it won't let me. For someone like me I need to be able to hear it as well as read it.
