I found it is about different language settings of the phone and app. Now I need to have my phone in English- why I cannot change language just for tesla app? it was in English for year, I did nothing and it stop working with phone language out of nowhere.
The app is obviously great overall, but I just went through the flow for adding electricity costs for automatic calculation each month and it is *brutally* annoying. There are too many plans, mine isn't listed, it doesn't match the rates of any existing plan, and both calculating and entering the plan is a ton of work if the plan is complex enough. The demoralizing thing is that Claude can just look at my bills and tell me what the deal is. Let someone upload their bill and use an LLM!

Saved dash video clips are garbled/broken. Powerwall/charging: 1) No settings to prevent car charging from powerwall 2) Have 2 teslas. One is on mobile charger, one on wallConnector. Both connected to PW. App never shows mobile connected car even though it knows it's charging. 3) one time charge schedule - no way to temporarily turn off charge on solar/set higher limit. 4) no charge priority on solar - PW, car 1, car2. 5) BUG: year home/charge stats change on refresh with 2 cars on the acc
We all miss the 80s, but static strides on downloaded clips is not the nostalgia we're looking for. Fix it! So we don't feel like we're in some Tesla time warp.

The app is unpleasant to use, much worse than in-car software which is surprising. Between every action there's a lag, starting car from app requires extra menu tap, and when I open app there's sudden layout shift, so instead of tapping Controls I get something else under my finger. On main screen, often afraid to mis-tap something, especially something I cannot undo digitally like a frunk open Missing car wifi setting via app which is also sad

Downloading dashcam footage through the app ends up with corrupted files which cannot be played back. Widely reported issue.

As you cannot complain on the Tesla app, I think I am speaking on behalf of all customers, put a section solely for customer service issues so we can contact someone as this isn't a breeze in the park. Why do the updates change the way the way we set it up, i cannot put 50% as it goes below in the evening, fix it, also on setting a blue dots appeared and wont go out unless i fill out Add your utility account, why wont that blue dot go away as i have looked at it and do not need to add this?
App is hard to use and understand. App continuously puts my home battery under a self consumption scheme even though I have changed it a dozen times. This is pure BS

The Ai chat malfunctions when you ask it anything and the customer support agents lied to me when I called them about an order they sent to an old address (the car delivery had the correct address, but the accessories defaulted to an old one) when I asked the agent they said they would submit a ticket and Tesla would either contact UPS to redirect the order or just resend everything to my current address. I got an email from tesla saying they aren't doing anything. Bout to cancel my car order.

The app doesn't work. I signed up for an account for my Tesla (and I'm able to get the authentication code), but it takes me to the login screen over and over again when I try to sign in!. So frustrating!!!!
Latest update broke downloading dash cam clips to phone (Pixel 10 pro) a lot of other users are reporting the same with android. 1 star review only to be seen, apart from that it's the best app for a car out there, well done Tesla but please fix. will change back to 5 stars after!
This version as the one before defaults to 8am for precondition schedules. regardless of what you type in or use the clock, it will default to 8am. You have to be quick or you will never get past 8am. how did this ever pass QA? Now it wont save dashcam footage to an S21 phone.
Takes so much longer than normal to connect to the vehicle and the powerwall, if it connects at all. more often than not it takes ten minutes to tell me my phone, which is able to access the internet the entire time, is not connected to the internet.
Failed to customize control with my Redmi phone
Tesla is bait and switching people on Supercharging fees. It shows $0.34/kWh, but when you actually get there, it jumps to $0.48/kWh. That is misleading and frustrating.

Ugly. Unattractive UI. Lacking in features from the old MySolarCity app. If there was any other way to track my solar usage, I'd probably switch to that. oh, and if you're considering using Tesla for solar power, do yourself a favor and use literally anyone else.

What a P.O.S. Now the support options for cars have been deleted from the app. One comedy of errors after another. Its discouraging to see such a large technology related company so inept at managing their own technology.

Charging big problems, at Tesla services bad,and big expensive (tires) fixed. Not recommended Tesla .
Dashcam footage is corrupted. Every time I try to download any footage, it takes a long time to download and then won't play; it just shows a green screen.
1. Unable to schedule a collision repair appointment. When I enter the address, it shows a message with no results found to visit a link and never enables the next button to be able to schedule 2. I asked the AI Tesla assist to help schedule an appointment - It took me to attach photos workflow and then it keeps looping on the same page when I click next, though I attached photos
the app is telling me from main menu I have a charging scheduled at current location for monday at 8pm... If I look at the scheduled items and there's nothing, I wasn't expecting to either as I can't charge at current location!
FIXED THE NEW UPDATE BUG FINALLY OR A PHONE RESTART CLEARED IT BUT I THINK TESLA WAS AT FAULT.. STILL ! INCORRECT LOCATION AT MOST ALL TIMES FROM APP 'TESLA.. when downloading sentry videos to your phone, they come out distorted and low quality.
I purchased the Powerwall 3. It is mine...... Let ME decide when to charge and discharge it. I can decide when to charge my car, by how much and when to discharge it by driving it. Treat my house as a consumer of electrons just like my car is. Give me, and other Powerwall owners, complete control of our batteries.....they are ours!
Does this app have a bug? no matter how many times I watch the "Meet Your Powerwall" presentation, it keeps coming back each time I open the app. Annoying.
newest update broke the dashcam clip download feature. The videos are now scrambled.
