website is horrible!! the picture take too long to download and it every action takes forever so the picture can fonish download. Took 20 minutes to update cart and checkout.

it's so buggy that the shopping cart is broken. it claims I have one item in my shopping cart, but it failed to load every single time I try to open it. the app is crazy slow, the filters/sorting don't work half the time, wishlist items randomly get corrupted (even if the item is still available) and after scrolling through so many pages it just refuses to load anymore pages. you added AI, but you won't fix any of the bugs. the website is garbage too. I love Home Depot, but I'm disappointed ☹️
Stupid, stupid, stupid slow! Why, why, why are you flooding the page with products that I'm not searching for, that take forever to load, that prevent me from actually seeing the thing I'm ready to give you money for? What are you thinking of? Fully load the product I want to buy first! Give me credit for knowing what I want. What is so hard about that?

this app is just plain awful. I can barely even enter my delivery address anymore
when I look to see what my address is on any other app or anything and I come back to the Home Depot app it resets the entire process so when I was ordering something I had to do it several times and I was very upset about it. I wish I could just go to Home Depot and buy the stuff that it shows me on the app but it doesn't work like that apparently so now I'm all pissed off but I saved $160 that's my review

incredibly slow
the app is super glitchy, it took me two times to put my cvv on my purchase because this app lags hard. my card wasn't the issue I was final able to make my purchase after multiple attempts.
why is it sooo buggy??? is anyone tending to this app? why does each time you click on something it stalls like crazy. can someone tend to it? the app seems to lack an active tech team. convenient when looking up item in store for aisle/bay location. pages take forever to load though and search gives you unrelated items.

This app needs work.
The app is very janky. It is slow and randomly freezes. It is the quality and customer service that we have come to expect from Da Home Depot.
Freezes after trying to go back after each search and needs to be reopened to search for an item again. Takes minutes to load pages, makes me want to use Amazon just because I'm not spending a half an hour to buy a dryer that should take 5 minutes max.

Absolute worst shopping app I have used in a long time. Takes FOREVER to load and change tasks. can't believe this app is this bad for this long and hasn't gotten better. it's not just my phone either. I have used it on 3 different phones now.

horrible, slowly, poor connection, kick it out, desconected, no, no, no delete. is better use the web page. waste you time with this app
app was super laggy
While I'd like to do all my home improvement shopping at Home Depot this app is so slow I end up switching to Amazon or eBay. it's not a minor slow down, it's so slow you will think it's locked up. my phone uses android 15 and is only a year old and I have tried reinstalling the app, cleared the cache and reset it with zero improvement.

Extremely sluggish checkout process - took 15 minutes for the app to catch up with simple data entry. Was honestly tempted to just buy somewhere else as I've never had an app work so poorly to complete a transaction.

decent user interface, but the backend load speeds are basically unusably slow on my phone, regardless of being on high speed wifi, mobile network, etc
The current layout and pushing recommendations, other customers viewings, possible needed parts, or things like return policies, make it extremely hard to use as a contractor, and slow to load every page. I need to be able to view the product, and the details for it, without having to scroll down, and wait for everything to load. It feels like everything is trying sell more, when I already plan on buying from home Depot, and just need to find the item, and not have endless clutter obscuring.

Clunky, slow, reloads, crashes. One of the worst apps I use for online purchases and planning. It feels more like the website is being forced through a straw rather than a separate mobile enhanced app.
