we paid for this app thinking it was a secure platform. our account has been hacked and all messages and media have been viewed by a third party. how has this happened if you claim that your app is so secure. this is a complete breach of privacy. I have emailed support but have been ignored. I want answers!!!!
App regularly closes by itself after i already started typing, and have to reopen again while losing what was typed already. 90% of the time i cant call ppl, but they can call me without issues, and it happened on 3 different phones with different OS, so i know its not related to phone/signal strength, recently started crashing regularly, even whatsapp has less issues and its free...
Messages are not delivered anymore from Android to iPhone. It became useless for me.

Bezahlversion erworben. Inzwischen viel Wichtiges zwischen mir und meiner Familie gepostet. Dann die Katastrophe - Handy kaputt. Account trotz Kenntnis der ID nicht wieder herstellbar. Mein Vertrauen als Kunde daher auch nicht wiederherstellbar.
If I send many pictures at once, it doesn't work, if I make a call, the call gets disconnected, how can I trust paid software if this is the problem? Free software is better than this. This problem needs to be solved quickly.

impossible to share pictures on Android due to not including the option to search by gallery and only by file. i would have NEVER purchased this if I've known. if you're looking to share pictures, please avoid. tried reaching out to support, too. they're super slow, will not read your request and then will reply with a canned message. after finally speaking with a human, they just thanked me for the suggestion. crazy how this feature was not included for android.
useless App it's not like an open social app it's just like Whatsapp or zangi 💔and those two apps works better than them and don't accept refund 💔
Linking this app to the new Desktop 2.0 Beta is a mess and does not work. Why are we being forced to run untested Beta software that dows not work? I am deeply displeased. Is there to pay more to have this app work decently?

Waste Of Money. Only two of my contacts use Threema, so pretty pointless having it. Plus it was impossible to verify my phone number. Never received a code by text or phone. Seems I have just flushed £5+ down drain, as I am sure I won't get a refund?
I really like the private nature of this messaging service. For this, 5 stars. However, this is the second [4th time now] time that it crashes almost every time I reply to a message (often losing the message I am in the middle of writing), and have to start again. It would be nice if there was a way to send complaints about its failures, but there is no contact option evident for when there is a problem. Tech support gets 0 stars. UPDATE: NO TECH SUPPORT. NO ONE CARES ABOUT FAILURES !!!
application not working and saying requires stable internet connection whereas i regularly use that internet and also tried another connection as well. waste of money
Very bad attitude from customer support if only I can add pictures here. This app is useless, with no use in countries where their are actual restrictions, what's the use of me having to use a vpn. Apps like WhatsApp and Signal work much smoother, yet I paid for this rubbish threema and get rude support reps responding with rude remarks. AVOID THIS APP DONT WASTE YOU'RE MONEY! I did have it for all my family but now u can f off. Centralised and Not open so u don't know what there upto.

It keeps saying "empty recording or unable to determine length" and my whole recording is gone. I restarted my phone, uninstalled and re-installed the app and I am still getting this error with every voice message I'm trying to send. I now have to use my other messaging app again which I wanted to avoid but switching to Threema 😕
taking photos with the camera is not working most of the time, showing photos in fullscreen kills the app, search messages in history starts at the oldest message and freezes the phone for minutes - what's the problem?

It could be a good alternative to Whats***, but somehow it crashes on each daily first launch. After reopening it, it then works. But this daily crash is really annoying...
Disappointed you can't sync messages over multiple devices, since you can restore your ID backup from there safe from there server! Should be possible for the price to make that easy for users!

recently I keep having a bug where when I try to call it is stuck on "Initializing". Have to keep uninstallinng/ close app and reopening just to have a call go to "Ringing".
bit too expensive! You call someone and it keeps saying initializing nothing happens. app does not connect to other other phone when is idle . Big problem...
