Now they want more money for a broken app. App is consistently plauged with issues. Have to redownload entire playlists often. Offline listening is a lie. Simple concept, if the song is downloaded, then it doesn't need to connect to the internet to play, full stop. It's insane how bad this is. The app refuses to play downloaded media without the internet, defeating the entire purpose. In "Offline Mode" half of my "Downloaded" songs are not available. Track stuck in downlaods for years now.
Raised prices once again. Canceling membership.

So small independent musicians and creators once again suffer. You've lost my support and the support of many. Good luck.

I updated the app, now my collection is gone.

SO many artists have the wrong songs and albums listed under their profiles, and you can't even report it to get it fixed. no option to turn off album cover visualizers despite numerous people asking for it over the years. always buffers when selecting a song or when trying to jump ahead/back in a song. allowing ai music. & the price is going up of course despite all this.
introducing fake music with a.i. now, point of music is actually someone using passion and talent, saying the a.i. wont copy artists, that's what a.i. does it collects data from music and bands/singers and copies it, absolutely disgusting. We don't want a.i. we want actual artists and actual music being created with actual instruments/or hardware by someone. avoid will all costs now.

Was hoping Tidal would be against polluting water and stealing ideas, but I guess I was mistaken. let's hope Deezer is any better
now supports AI generated music. tidal was great when it was an artist forward app but as of today they stated they are going to allow AI generated music on platform with tags. this is wholly against artists! they should be blocking any AI generated music from the application. I'll be cancelling
up until today I would have raved about the app and Tidal as a whole. But they just sent me an email explaining that they were going to allow AI generated music on the app. Reverse this please! I love your app but I'll have to walk away when this change is implemented... so disappointing

tidal use to be about Hip hop yet no new African American indie artists are broke on here any more , I am seriously thinking of cancelling the service
this app use to be so sleek. The new updates and design change make me want to cancel my subscription
It is very sad how bad is the application. It woud take me ages to describe all the bugs I encountered, especially the connection. After 3 months of usage I decided to sign off and move to another payment application.
the music quality was amazing except the fact that I was stuck in preview mode so I had to reinstall it
Keeps trying to recommend specific artists or albums instead of playlists of a genre of music. If I'm looking for relaxing music, don't recommend some random band called relax. If I search for 90s music, don't recommend 20 different albums named 90s. Nobody cares to listen to whole albums. The android auto version of the app is horrible for this. Can't find anything useful quickly while driving. Feel like it's better to just pay more for a competitor as the service here isn't worth it.
Excellent selection and quality, which are made completely irrelevant by the incessant "We're sorry, this content can't be played in your location. (0:403:4032)" errors that are not automatically skipped like in other user-friendly streaming apps. Fix! This! Issue!
Songs from my playlists would stop working, or get swapped out for a different version. But the decision to allow AI music was the death nail for me.
I do not want to listen to AI music. I want a setting to stop Tidal from playing and suggesting any of it. Having a tag to highlight it's 100% AI is not good enough
I too use Tidal because of the great streaming quality. The latest UI updates with the permanent floating media player/controls at the bottom of the app really suck! Worked way better before. Very intrusive now. Perhaps have that when the app is not actively being used and hide it when in the app to revert to how it used to be. another issue for me is that when browsing new music I cannot see if a song is in any playlists or my downloaded tracks without opening it. Very inconvenient now.
