Not much reason to have the service if it no longer sees my Bluos player. please fix this. The player is connected to the internet and other apps in the house. Only Tidal does not work.
Please fix the app or bring back the previous version - the latest version crashes all the time.
This update is very bad 👎🏼👎🏼
it recommended me the album "king charles III coronation march"
The app is usually quite buggy. For instance I have never been able to look for a song in a specific playlist because the search bar never finds anything. But for two weeks now, I can't even listen to my main playlist because the app can't connect to the server. My network is fine. I can access every other playlist and I cleared the cache and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The problem persists and the help center is no use, only serving me banalities such as "check your network".
Just updated and opening the now playing screen crashes the app consistently when playing audio via Chromecast.
Please allow to change app icon in settings, its black and invisible in Android Auto
need to pay to listen to full songs no joke.
App crashes all the time, a lot of time while driving which is the worst time! It can run smooth all day then have an error for no reason. I really wanted to switch to this platform to get away from all the AI stuff platforms like Spotify have, but until someone works on this app and fixes the bugs on here I'm good.
app is super glitchy. screens not refreshing properly. constantly have to restart it.
I KEEP CHANGING MY PASSWORD AND STILL WONT LET ME SIGN IN I WANT MY REFUND NOw!
I highly do not recommend this app why you may ask? the music quality is decent but the real killer is that you have to pay to listen to the full version of a song. You pick a song and it will only play 26-29 seconds of the song without paying. much rather get Spotify or YT Music
a update on my tablet took out repeat song/ album and shuffle buttons. I dont like it. I contacted support and asked to fix it and they did nothing. Degrades listening; increases difficulty of enjoyment.
Super glitchy. won't load when my other apps do.
Tidal needs to do something about the AI generated slop and rampant artist impersonation. It is getting out of hand and has me considering canceling my subscription.
Janky app, very frustrating to use some of the basic features. If you don't have cell service, you have to manually set the app to offline mode even when you've downloaded your playlists. The search feature is broken most of the time, searching for songs is semi functional but searching in your own playlist is totally broken. I also just had an issue where a downloaded playlist un-downloaded itself and then duplicated every song ten times. The app also doesn't sync with the Web player.
Tidal seems like a decent platform and all, but the app is unacceptable in it's current state of (barely) functioning. Constant stuttering during playback, buffering that takes even a couple minutes sometimes. Scrolling, moving, or clicking anything is a gamble as to whether the music just lags to hell, or just crashes the app entirely. Seriously sucks with how often I like to listen to music this really messes with my flow man. App just sucks.
Same problem over 2 years later. Tidal continually issues gigabytes of mobile data even when I tell it to use downloaded music that I installed on WiFi. And no, Tidal, I'm not going to contact your "support" because they'll just give me a runaround response that wastes my time. Fix your app.
despite being on WiFi songs keep stopping randomly
all it let's me hear are previews and nothing else. I can't make fav or download or search or anything
tidals connectivity issues that seemingly only happen with Samsung make this app borderline unusable when not on wifi. severely disappointed in this and will likely be going back to Spotify unless this is fixed. I had a lot of hope in this app and it hasn't delivered.
I paid for premium and only got previews.
this App is a hot mess - downloads don't work reliably (app just stops downloading after like 90% of the playlist), and even if you manage to download a playlist, when you have slow Internet it lags all the time (not an issue in offline mode). editing playlist sucks too, on every add/remove of a song it reloads the entire playlist, and you have to wait for that... For the fact I pay for this app, I expected basic functions to work...
This app is terrible on AAOS, it doesn't work half of the time. The most frustrating thing is that it often just hangs when trying to play a song, and suddenly you can't play anything anymore. Not sure what causes this, but this bug has been there forever and not been addressed yet. It's a shame because if it works, the sound quality is great. But that doesn't matter, given how unreliable the app is. I'll switch back to Spotify.
It plays a song for 30 seconds 😭
good sound but freezes and crashes on a pixel 9 phone with every update on phone not sure why it happens but its not all the time and also it doesn't always keep what you was playing when you go back to app with it running in the background
Collection tab constantly showing an error which makes the TV app completely unusable. Please fix
The most idiotic Customer Non-service I've ever dealt with. Now I understand why I've never heard of this platform. What a total waste of space & time.
Horrid design, it used to look like an application created from scratch, now it looks like a beta version from a programming student. I can't access my playlists or saved content. It's rubbish for a premium service.

trash app I'm subscribed and I can't even play music I'm putting this on Tiktok

I really wanted this app to work but it isn't user friendly at all. if it even had a search function it would be much better
latest update causes the app to crash 9/10 times you open the playback view.
I used to love it for sound quality, lack of ai features, and focus on simply playing music versus algorithmic garbage. The newest UI update however, is awful. I'll update the stars when the UI is rolled back or fixed
track loading and buffering is miserable compared to competitors. I'll often have to restart the app to get things to eventually load and play. switching to alternative streaming apps and those load right away, even at high res settings.
So much to like but please sort out the same name / AI artists issue. Sound quality is great, recommendations (particularly Daily Discovery) are great. The refusal to address the issue where multiple artists of the same name are combined in one listing, especially with the ever increasing number of AI artists, is seriously limiting the platform. Specifically, I can't trust (and so ignore) new release notifications from artists I follow, because half the time they're not the real artist.
It's always crashing down ☹️
why does it take like 5 mins to load my playlist until I'm in offline mode
Music sounds good in wired headphones, but you can't cancel your subscription from the app.
it's all well and good until my playlist ends. it suggests songs I would never dream of listening to, and it has previously given me what felt like hundreds of Christmas songs in a row.
Good app apart from one thing. When listening to a track I swipe down to minimise the song and look at the playlist. However sometimes the app swipes sideways instead of down which skips to the next track. Very annoying. UPDATE: They've made it worse. Now tidal takes up my whole screen and hides the android navigation buttons at the bottom. I keep accidentally pressing the wrong button and now have to swipe down from the top to get the buttons back. Why? Seriously! What's the point?
I normally love the monthly recaps. but why are you changing the unedited versions I listen to and putting the edited version on the list. wild.
family plan - constantly pauses itself because someone else is listening on another device. even after liking thousands and thousands of songs, my discover daily playlist always shows me things like... The Beatles and rolling stones, like I don't already have hundreds of their songs liked. But ask title to play The White album... and it will find some weird indie cover to give you. can't figure this thing out. running short on patience. cs always has 20 tasks to prevent your resolution. meh.
Great audio quality! But several issues, 1. The new UI, it scales terribly on a high DPI display, fonts and buttons are tiny and have become unreadable and hard to use. ESPECIALLY when trying to change a song or start TIDAL when in the car. 2. No WAZE integration anymore, I cannot connect TIDAL to WAZE to use it from within my navigation app. 3. After downloading a lower quality audio, it still plays at low quality when connected to internet. 4. Takes long to start playing downloaded songs.
This app NEED a major update. I personally use Tidal Family Plan from 2022, when at the time I switched from Spotify looking for a better sound quality. I used this app from several devices and I remember that in 2022 this app was fantastic, smooth menus, great architecture and offline content was amazing. From two years ago the app received various updates that incresly slowed the navigation and I had serious problems with downloaded files on my SD and another thing, the support is inexistent.
Ready to return to Spotify after 2 hours! Wanted to switch to get artists paid more but what an unhelpful platform. Making playlists one song at a time (not all albums are coming up on Tidal), it will download the entire album, then have to delete the extra songs. Help pages say to use desktop to stop this from happening. Doesn't sync to my phone's app though. Playlists won't sit on homepage either, so extra steps with every use. Was not expecting this level of hassle.
Please fix your app. I love the company itself, the quality of the music, everything about it, except the mobile app. It's absolute garbage. Constantly "can't connect" and just stops playing music. Can't search for anything within my playlists, it just says I don't have anything. PLEASE fix it. I want to keep using Tidal, but when half my listening is through my phone in the car, it makes me really want to switch.
