The app is not working and now I can't access my account driving me mad. and now to make it worse customer service just told me to do something after I already told them that I have done it. it's great having a quick response email but sometimes a call couldn't be bad. it's now been over a week one update and still no access freezing at startup I think it's root detection causing it even though phone hasn't been rooted.
Dont sign up for tide. They advertise all manner of extras, then refuse to give them to you. They wont even tell you why. I can't get a card reader or even the tap to pay. I get constant calls from their call centre pushing addons and trying to bill me extra for them, only to find out half the "benefits" won't even work on my account.
Accounting tools don't allow for entering mileage claims for each job. Bank account allows setting aside tax, but no other pots. Not suitable for me, account closed.

The app is glitching and very slow today. all I keep seeing is the loading cog wheel for 30-40 secs at a time. Please sort. This isn't the first time.

My support case has been open for a number of days and no resolution, or even a temporary solution is in sight.
forced to do an update before opening, but the update took you on a circle back to the beginning. Had to completely uninstall and reinstall

Rubbish app.. Takes ages to load up. And now its asking for me to update even though its updated - i cant open the app anymore!!
absolutely abysmal. They've blocked a payment to my other business account, which has the same name, and they're communication at getting it sorted is pretty much non existent. The app is now saying that it needs an update except there is no update and I cant access the app to try and sort the payment issue out.

do not go with this bank! absolutely awful, app won't let you log in half time says need update & then there nothing to update so u have to uninstall & reinstall only gives you low spending & sending amounts which you have constantly keep applying to change even though over 100k in 3 months has gone through shambles!

Awful bank! I just signed up and haven't received any of the info they claim to have sent. Now I can’t open the app to use the chat, and email agents just tell me to "use the app"-a total Catch-22. You can't make it up! They don't respond to messages and the service is nonexistent. I’m only staying until my setup is complete and I get my details, then I’m gone. Tide, don’t bother with a generic response; this review is a warning for others to avoid this bank. Absolute shambles for a business.
Tide stole 5k from me.
Very disappointing experience with Tide. My payment has been on hold despite providing invoices and product links as requested. They keep asking for more information without clear justification. For the past 4-5 days, I have received no proper response via calls or live chat, and my questions remain unanswered. Due to security reasons, I cannot continue sharing sensitive business information. If this is not resolved, they should return my funds and close my account. I would not recommend this se

would give 0 stars. worst bank for buisness. constantly hold funds for days. if you want to kill your buisness use tide.
Very bad service, had an account for few months somehow card delivered but still in the update showing not delivered so can't use this for Amazon seller account. Contacted customer services no response. I would avoid using this as it is total waste of time.

The app only works for like 5 seconds and then shuts me out of it. It continues to say app not working.

Problems with invoice system... quotes not saving as drafts. Spent half and hour typing up a quote for it to disappear when I left the page. Checked in drafts but vanished! No reply from customer service. Shame really as planned on running my whole business through the app but will be forced to look elsewhere.

charge for every single transaction, £0.2 each. not suitable for a small business. and they didn't say they charge every transaction on the advertising. Very frustrating.
Shockingly bad. Constantly getting fraud attempts on these accounts. Gone through 5 new cards in the last year. Scammers also accessed the text message thread I have with Tide and took my money. No refund offered from Tide. Moving my money ASAP!
Actually very disappointed in Tide. Came highly recommended. Filled in all my details, paid all the fees asked for. Received confirmation emails. Two weeks later still no access. Zero response to emails. Tried calling, again zero response. Don't know what else to do now. I appreciate I'm not a paying customer and going by this activity. I'm not sure I would want to be. I also understand there are other customers/clients, so they will be busy. Hope this finds someone who can help.
Desperately needs a dark mode. Not a fan of the app sending off your face to some scummy third party to get added to some tracking database or generative model. Support number given in the app doesn't exist.
worst app, worst support department. if you call them they will pick a call after one hour telling you they are busy. they couldn't resolve one issue since one week 😕. worst app in the world.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY takes a day or 2 to respond to emails. today i was on the queue for 90mins. seriously. and these people expect new companies to come begging for an account with Tide. i started the process with them since last Friday. it's been 3business days, and i was no closer to a company being set-up fed up, i did it myself online. i got my company set-up with companies house in less than 30mins, including the id checks. i got a monzo business account in 2hrs!!

Very poor customer support and review process. My account has been under review for over two weeks despite providing all requested information. Support keeps sending the same generic replies with no clear update or timeframe. My account is restricted, so I can’t send or receive payments, which has seriously affected my business. Compliance checks are understandable, but the lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable.
I am having trouble opening a business account online.
Way too much going on. I just get lost in this app.
Poor User Experience Thinking
Two years at this point. App still fails to update from within the app, unless you have Google Chrome as an active browser. No reason for this unnecessary blocker, Android natively allows playstore updates. This design by Tide just makes it more awkward to use their app compared to other banks. Otherwise, it's lovely.
Tide when it 1st opened was ok but it's becoming a real pain for normal users. The constant face recognition being forced on you and bio metrics don't make it safer it's just data collection on the individual, not for our security for sure. They don't deal with international payments well and support are slow and not even understanding the problems. Overall starling are better and at some point I'll move funds over to them as Tide are becoming a real pain and they'll lose business on this basis.
Customer support is very slow and difficult to access for the standard service.
Not great for business. very long clearing period for transfers. and expensive fees. the app is user friendly. But if you are going to charge such high fees for Euro transfers, then you should not take 5 business days to clear. even a GBP transfer is still not cleared after 3 business days. this affects business negatively
