Words escape me again. May 6th. all my places and recent destinations have vanished. looking at the About page the version has the word "beta" in it. so it's the version on this page, at the time of writing. C'mon TomTom I did not agree to be a beta tester for you, and please get rid of that bot on your support site. it took exception when I told it it hadn't fixed my problem and had repeated itself 7 times
It wiped my entire 'places' list after the recent update. Tom Tom don't ask me to email you as you know it is a known issue affecting many. It is an app that I actually pay for, so it is very disappointing.

Driving through north London it stopped showing my route. when I went into my saved addresses and favourites it's all gone nothing whatsoever. After this I wouldn't recommend this app I can't even retrieve the Data, and obviously you can't speak to someone.
wiped all my data, very annoying. paid for this year's worth of data wiped and they say nothing useful. not worth buying as half the time it sends you the wrong way
I don't know what's happened with this app. I've been using it for years and it used to be great, but suddenly, it's lost all my stored favourite places and it's started wiping out every location I save. Also, when I go into the app all recent destinations have disappeared as well.

Loaded 8 routes using the route planner on my laptop, they showed in the app as available. Went to use one of the routes, clicked on it in the app, it showed the route on the map then disappeared. Checked the routes and they'd all disappeared!
updating the united states map does not give you each individual states, you waste space download the "full" map of the country, and still have to download each individual state
Only TomTom could have issues with the app so they can make all the saved places, disappear...how is this possible? This is why I pay 90 euros a year? 🤮🤮

I've been using Tomtom and Tomtomgo via playstore since the very early days. This update incarnation of Tomtom go is without a doubt the worst ever. It signed me out then tere's nowhere (even tucked away) to sign in until a popup invited you to and then I find all my places and data has gone. I was on the beta and I know leaving it can make that happen but the failure occured first. Looks like if best start looking around. This App and the account accessibility MUST be kept reliable.

As of 07 May, app has stopped showing favourite places and trip history etc. Seems to be a known issue started in the last couple of days. Will update review if it starts working again. Currently not great though
I have been trying to use this for the last few days, but keeps deleting my locations for home and work, forcing me to re-add them every day. all my saved locations are gone. this has been an issue for the last few days. on more general usage, the app is reasonably good for live traffic and lane guidance is mostly good. despite an active subscription, the average speed camera / construction warnings has been a joke for years, often more than a year out of date.

What ever has happened recently on TomTom's end has completely removed all my saved places and continues to remove any saved places I added yesterday. I had several years of saved locations used for my work. Doesn't appear to be any fix and they appear permanently lost.
Following the recent update all of my places and data from the app have disappeared. Checking online they are not online either. Support chat bot says its a known problem. This is really poor, made the app unusable. When will a fix be rolled out?

the app started off very well, however since the latest update the app is saying I don't have an active subscription although Google play says my tomtom subscription is paid up until Feb 2027. very poor show from tomtom.

All of my saved locations have been deleted so I had to input them again yesterday. today I have come back to them deleted again. the app doesn't update when roadworks have ended or when speed cameras are added. it also crashes often. I expect better from an app I have to PAY for.
I used this App since August 2015. It has been excellent - providing clear road instructions and good traffic estimates. But this week - 11 years later and despite having paid a 12 month sub in Dec 2025 via Google pay my app has logged me out - "inviting" me to pay a new subscription. After a lot of frustration and password reset attempts I uninstalled and tried the ordinary free car version but that has poor reviews. I am afraid this marks the end of an era.

Update May 2026. Just updated the app and its still showing a narrow alley as a road. I've reported this a few times but still no action taken. Also, since the latest update the app now thinks I'm about a kilometre away from where I really am. Feb 2026. Its nearly a year since I reported that a narrow alley is shown as a road. Sigh, another edit.. So, TomTom have deleted my home and work location and ALL of my places FOR A SECOND TIME. After randomly deleting them 6 months ago, I had re-added them again and boom, it's done it again. Gone from the web as well, although bizarrely, the routes on the web still exist; everything else has gone. I pay for this app and I am sick and tired of the BS
Terrible app! During driving it stopped navigating and all my saved places just wanished away. •What happened ? TomTom destroyed my 5months works with 1 sek. Can't belive I payed 89.99eur for 12 months plan. Fix it or I end subscription for ever and start using Eurowag Navi .
App crashed and wouldn't turn on,when it eventually did all my favorites were gone,all these visited places saved for months and all gone. FAQs was of no help.

Not finding any postcodes! In reply to the developer: if you need a bachelor degree and two PHDs to use an app than that is not worth it. The amigo go can find postcodes without fiddling with the app.

very bad and let us down with no maps. we uploaded our owned road maps to it, TomTom in several occasions changed the roads without asking us and a couple of times we got to a road blockage and diversion and Tomtom couldn't find alternative or the map. we had to use Google maps and they took us around, then I loaded back my map to Tomtom but it couldn't loaded and made a big mess out of our journey. this happened in 3 different devices in our group. avoid it.
I've now tried all the tomtom apps and none of them are as good as the amigo app, that was worth £20\£25 a year, the rest are far from worth the money... Bring amigo back, charge £20 and you'll be printing money :) AmiGO had: - Auto start with bluetooth connection spoken speed camera alerts spoken warnings for average speed camera zones (start\end AND spoken updates of your average speed) Just bring AmiGO back and make everyone happy....
awful. this app has hardly any of the destinations that I enter installed. This is completely useless to me and I am now back to using Google maps. I wanted this to navigate routes for my truck but it just does not have the locations that I enter. will cancel subscription as tom tom has no way to explain on phone what problem is.
If you are a coach driver don't go for app variant there is no profile for bus/coach so don't waste your money.
This is the 2nd time the app has kicked me out after I pay for the year service and now it wants me to pay again. This was my favorite app but now it's nothing more than a scam, zero customer service.

I cancelled my subscription to this yet I just got charged for a month of service. I looked it up in Google Play and the subscription has been cancelled since March yet they just took $21.64 out my CashApp account today at at 9:03 a.m.
Don't trust adverts all are scams
garbage won't run in the background for long next thing you've missed your junction 10 miles back. starts to run slow so needs re installing often.
