Apps interface is okay, was a great idea when this first came out but now you're lucky to even get a bag as just before pick up regardless if it's Greggs, birds, Aldi etc etc 90% if the time the bags will be cancelled the last minute before collection starts. Unfortunately the app isn't even worth the time anymore sadly it was a fantastic concept
The app is so painfully slow now you can't score any of the popular bags. They have now stopped sign in from older versions of the app 😡
the food is not worth the wait or the discount. like maybe 20% less than retail.
got greedy price hikes get lost
this is a scam! charged £3 from my account for a pound bakery bag but didn't give me the code or a bag and said no order was made! this app scams people who can't afford food as it is and shame on its founder.
braucht dringend Option um bestimmte Läden auszublenden, oder generell mehr Filteroptionen
newest update was several steps backwards and I don't wish to continue supporting this app anymore
I can't speak for everyone, but it's terrible in my area. on the off chance anywhere has the bag you paid for, it always worse value than going anywhere else and buying it for yourself. you may think you are comprising choice in exchange for quantity, but in reality, you get a small bag of items discounted already so heavily, you could have purchased them for a fraction of what you pay too good too go. so you get ripped off and lose any choice for it? tldr : just shop in clearance isles
do you really need to keep updating, now I can't use the app because I don't have enough space to download your updated version
The app started as a great thing to do but now it has become more trashy as all those delivery options don't save anything or benefit the environment, it just pushes overpriced corpo junk that is extremely unhealthy!
it is a scam they took my money and even if u showed up they don't respond for any and no body answer back. disgusting.
I have used the app for 212 orders and have been satisfied until recently. The latest update has removed the detailed statistics behind the ratings, specifically the calculations for quality and quantity. These data points were crucial to the user experience and for trust, and formed the basis for my decision-making when placing an order. Without this information, the app has lost its primary utility, and I can therefore no longer recommend the service as it stands.
Non va bene, ora sono nascosti i punteggi che aiutavano a capire le quantità, la velocità, la varietà dei prodotti. Non è trasparente ed è a danno degli utenti...
I've been using this app for more than a year. Customer service used to be good and instant. if you had an issue with your order, you could chat with an agent or talk in less than 5 min. Now they got a bot and to get a real employee they say it takes between 2-3 business days. I bought a tgtg meal from a restaurant and once I reach the place, I can see it has been permanently closed and replaced by a coffee shop. it hasn't been updated on tgtg. it's been 24 hours since my claim and I got no news
Customer service was replaced by a very unhelpful chatbot.......
I have a notifications on and I could be in the app when something becomes available and it is always instantly sold out no matter what
great idea but need more business involved
Short lived. Not enough vendors participating, and you almost had to gamble at getting anything. Good idea.
This May update is a big step backwards. I've lost the ability to store locations (home and work) and it's just a map search each time. Sold out bags are showing in my list, even with the filter turned on. Combined, these make the app really difficult to use. Hope to see it fixed soon.
Very badly designed app. The map is a barely functional feature, when you zoom in a location disappears. A map should be the default rather than a random list of places within a 300 mile radius, but the devs clearly weren't thinking of the users at all.
Bombarded with 'begging' notifications. The app is poor which hides companies that have run out of food, so gives us TGTG app users less knowledge of those companies that are involved in the scheme, this in turn reduces our choice of outlets. The amount of food is lowering and prices are rising. Orders are frequently cancelled. I'm using the app less and less because of all this poor quality of a once handy app. Haven't bought a thing off here in months. I wonder why?!
Great idea but the experience doesn't match the hype. I've been turned away on more than one occasion because the clerk at the store doesn't know how to redeem this and then I have to go through the hassle of asking online support for a refund. You don't get to pick what you are given so often the food isn't what I like. the giveaway hard boiled eggs because nobody wants hard boiled eggs
NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY - They use generative ai slop in the app. Not ethical either, they might have decent deals, but lacking selection and they have no problems sending fake notifications to get you to engage. It's 99% pizza. They sent me push notifications offering things like a ramen shop in my area -- the store doesn't even exist. So if I haven't used it in a while, they'll send me fake notifications in order to get me to open the app.
