terrible. the place cancelled after pickuo time. i wasted my time getting there and only then did email on cancellation come thru. Too Good to Go would not offer any compensation. All i really wanted is to leave a warning for future customers to not waste their time..
great concept, not a lot of variety except for super late pickups. the one place I like sells out in seconds because a single person buys all available bags at once. I used to tell people about this till I saw someone do that. they should put a cap on how many a person can reserve at once, like 2 bags or something.
bad deals
July update makes the app browse and discover irrelevant as the app no longer allows the user to define distance and does not save map range in Home setting. Makes the experience frustrating. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ABILITY TO DEFINE AND SAVE SEARCH RANGE.
With every update, the app gets worse. First it was the notifications getting so delayed they became useless. Then it was pop-ups every time you used the map, telling you to zoom in or out-- I know how to use my phone, thank you very much. Now, the list tab has been half-fused into the map tab. And nothing works anymore. Tap an icon, and the whole list opens. Tap a store in the list, the list refreshes, with no way to open the surprise bag's page. Stop with the useless updates and fix your mess.

Pretends to care about the environment, then proceeds to use Gen A.I. for its images.
Had used the application a handful of times but if anything goes wrong your faced with poor customer service communication and often unwilling to resolve matters had to report to the to the Better Business Bureau in MyBank to perform a charge back due to this
why do you need my location? Nothing is working when location is disabled, but i can type an adress. However mothing is showing as long as i dont activate my GPS...
no matter what card I use, it does nkt let me pay. Customer services does not respond.
You used to be able to ise the app without having location constantly turned on.
you dont collect. you get fully charged.

Great idea and I'm sure it's good value when it works but I tried it, drove to the store and it was closed (I wasn't late, it was closed for the entire day).

Was really good, but now you can't select a distance and get shown a bunch of clutter you are not interested. I'm not wasting my time.
The concept behind the app is well natured, but in reality it fails. Decent bags that actually prevent waste are hard to come by and often swept up by bots. Why does TGTG allow so many bots to use the app? Also several places use it as advertising; here you are not saving waste at all. They make a pre-planned bag of new things instead, then hope that you'll buy something while you're there. Some places even get angry that you don't buy anything extra. (Note: I am in a major metro area)

6/22 update: the most recent update removed the ability to clearly set limits for locations. only places within 2 miles show up when I browse (which means I see NOTHING n my area). Distance is messed up, too. Please fix. ORIGINAL: This is a great app and it works well. Some places are better deals than others, but experimenting is part of the fun. I've gotten great meals at a discount and discovered some new favorites that I'd have never tried would like to be able to view others' reviews though
the last update ruined the app for me. i can no long just look at mt local area, instead it's now showing me things 4 towns over 27+ miles away
