I wasn't able to get past the identity verification. I tried five or six times in perfect lighting, but I keep getting an error message saying the picture is "too blurry." To make matters worse, it's impossible to contact support. The website tells me to use the app, but the app's "Help" section only has a few generic topics like "how to take pictures in good lighting." There is no option to start a chat or call anyone. It's a complete waste of time.
Broken by update. Latest version now opens Google Play Login instead of the app. Why do I need to log in to Google Play to use the app?

Ich benutze diese app jetzt schon viele Jahre und leider ist sie permanent immer schlechter geworden. Nicht nur, aber vor allem wegen unglaublich dummen "Features" wie diesen: \\ Nach oben scrollen geht zurück und die zurück-Taste schließt die app, was unfassbar nervig ist! \\ Die Wachlisten sind versteckt \\ Präzision bei Trading Daten kaum vorhanden \\ Spread wird nicht transparent gemacht bei Transaktionen \\ Individuelle Einstellmöglichkeiten sind und waren schon immer extrem schlecht
address verification doesn't work for all scenarios. writing an email gets you an automated email asking you to get help through the app, but the app has no option for contacting a live person prior to a successful registration. the problem is basically: EU citizen living in Germany can't have an ID that is required for proof of address. you only get an A4 paper stamped with basically all the information. but it isn't accepted by trade republic. and (live) help is not available.
Not good for crypto trading. Very limited token and functionality. no limit order this is the minimum function that anyone can expect
2.25 for germany and 3% for the rest of the Europe. Quite unfair marketing done by Trade Republic. aren't the ECB interest rates the same for all Eurozone?

Absolute joke of a company. Onboarding glitched into a frozen verification loop for weeks. Completely locked me out of the mandatory in-app chat support. Formal email tickets were auto-closed by their bots. Tried social media, and they manually changed my app status to hide the bug, only to ghost me. Today, June 29, I finally get a human email with a generic rejection. They didn't even say which document failed! What a joke of customer service. Reported to BaFin. Delete all data you have on me.
Sowas hab ich auch noch nicht erlebt. Seit über einer Woche passiert nix. Die App ist in einem merkwürdigen Demo Mode. Es gibt keine Rückmeldung, nix. Wenn man die Reg abbrechen will ist die Telefonnummer auf ewig für zukünftige Registration geblockt (illegale Datenspeicherung juhuuu). Sehr dubios und dreist.

No support. Unable to verify - app camera freezes at ID card scan. Unable to authorize desktop login - nothing shown in the mobile app after tapping the push notification and logging in to the app. Unable to contact support - only read-only documentation irrelevant to my issue. When reaching to the support email from Play Store and asking for help, I am informed that I need to submit my request in the app. The app does not offer that option. Very unwelcoming!

the latest update cut me off from the app and my account without prior notice. no help from support, like nothing at all
I installed the app and tried to register, but when I reach the screen where to choose my occupation area, I get this error no matter what I choose: "was invalid (null), needs to be set to a valid value before this request". And there is no way to skip and move forward, so I'm just stuck and cannot register. The app restart doesn't help.

it was good at start but now they became famous problems arrive, UI could have and update but i guess we can hse, but the worst for real is any merchant can get a payment you talk to support it will ignore you and let the merchant you don't want to pay anymorez to easily take your money, since nowdays political of websites they save your card details and Don let you remove

SCAM: promises 3.04% AER on the website but only 2.25% on the app! I will just stick to Revolut.
The Support are 100 percent organic humans, but I wish this was AI. The context window of my counterparts in the chat was about 2 sentences which was not enough. Run. And avoid leaving any substantial amount here. Chances are it will be locked. You can thank me later.
Will the app ever work and let me create an account? Doc recognition doesn't work at all, no app support for new users and account creation, no support on socials, no responses to my complaints either, closing the cases without even trying to understand the issue I've been having for over a year now. They seem to avoid new clients...

Careful ! - Unfair trading practices the Stop tool tends to take decisions based on Trade Republic interest, not yours. Just loss over 1000€ on a deal, because the tool did not sell when price was reached. I have all documentation, and solid proof. Support is so far ignoring. DO NOT TRUST. If support solves the problem i will edit this review, but so far, nothing. Edit: a suspected support do not acknowledge to case, while there is no doubt and clear proof. THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE.
Gute App, leider 2 Sterne abgezogen, da kein Changelog, wozu soll ich updaten, wenn da nicht steht was verbessert worden ist Edit: Design -2 Sterne aufgezwungen. Edit:2025 wird jetzt dumme deutsche IBAN einem aufgezwungen nur um zu verschleiern dass man damit auch die neuen AGBs akzeptiert edit:2026 neues UI ist wieder schlecht

Hello, sorry but the appli is really not user friendly. You can see properly all the investment you have done, you have no view of the market tendancy, no historic of the orders made... there's soo much room for improuvment if only you could consider customer feedback
I can't use my card or withdraw money from the app, I only see a message stating there was a technical issue and they are fixing it. I've been like this for over a week now and support just tells me to wait 48 hours, after 48 hours no response and just tell me again they've created a new ticket and to wait 48 hours again. They don't even tell me a reason behind this "technical issue"
I opened accounts to invest for both my children with liquidity in them. To my surprise, I have no longer the possibility to see, nor to access to my children accounts. Impossible to find a way to reach out to them. if this continues in the following 3 days, I'll reach out to the EU and French financial authorities
Was loving this app and using it for a long time, also have their debit card but....Customer Service is now TERRIBLE!!! I changed phone recently, when trying to log back in SMS verification fails. customer service is non-existent, I am now locked out from accessing my assets for 1 month (and counting! this is ongoing). Impossible to get help. Not ok for a service which handles your financial assets! When I get access again I will be withdrawing & closing my account! AVOID until they improve
Support sucks! Someone fraudulently used my card to order food abroad. After the second payment (in a few minutes timeframe) I blocked the card, informed the police and Trade Republic. more than 2 months are gone and support doesn't bother to answer. They just decided after more than 2 months to escalate to VISA. They are cheap for a reason. If you want any support choose another Bank before you need support!!!

Sold my Positions, without asking me or anything. Impossible to withdraw funds... They never answered my emails, never let me withdraw my funds...i managed to get most of my money out by gifting it to a family member as Shares. Absolute disgrace.
Extrem schlechter Kundenservice. Die App funktioniert nicht - egal wie oft ich sie neuinstalliere oder mein Gerät neustarte. Ich schreibe Trade Republic eine Mail (Kontaktmailadresse ist schon sehr schwierig zu finden) und erhalte prompt die Antwort, sie könnten mir per Email nicht helfen, ich solle sie mit diesem Problem via App kontaktieren. WIE soll ich Euch per App mitteilen, dass die App nicht funktioniert?
Horrible trading app won't recommend doesn't have easy stop loss feature.. limited feature and the way they handled Space X IPO and when you talk to their customer service they keep sending scripted messages.. Own up to your mistakes.. Will not recommend this app... Etoro is much better also trade212. Made a huge mistake by using this vendor
Cannot be used on GrapheneOS, bc screw you I guess. Even if installed rhrough play store with installed play services, so I guess this uses play integrity harder check (I only remember there is a thing like that), which does not work when play services are sandboxed, some banks can do it right, but some are like that
Horrible experience! I was trying to verify my address and provided all possible documents that are accepted by all other banks, but Trade Republic was declining it several time. It is impossible to contact them. First mail was answered with recommendation to contact them in the application (which is impossible meantime they verify your address), the second mail was not answered at all! Having all the document that are valid I would not expect such an ignorance! Not recommended!
Nothing to do with daily banking - no sepa in or out transfers. Maybe good for trading. No live/bot support! You can spend with debit card. I was misleaded by adv. as a Bank. Unf. not suitable for me so I will terminate TR asap.
Trade Republic somehow managed to make investing feel like administrative paperwork. After months of using it, I still want to close the app within seconds every time I open it. The interface is confusing and frustrating to navigate. Compared to Revolut, the gap in user experience is embarrassing. The only reason I still use it is the automatic tax handling. Without that, this app would be off my phone tomorrow. "I'm honestly not convinced the designers or employees even use this app themselves.

Hatte mir die App heute Installiert und den ID-Prozess gestartet, dieser ist 2 mal fehlgeschlagen und lässt sich nun nicht mehr über den Button starten (es passiert einfach nichts). Auf meine Anfrage an service@traderepublic kommt eine automatisch generierte Mail, ich solle die Support-Funktion in der App nutzen. Würde ich ja gern, aber darauf habe ich keinen Zugriff, da meine Verifikation fehlgeschlagen ist. Auch die Telefonnummer ist nicht erreichbar.
I wish there was a way to list all my positions in each ETF, even if there is more than one position in the same ETF. And then see each Gain or Loss in each of these positions. The UI to navigate one's portfolio is simply aweful. So dumbified, it hardly provides any important information. I might consider a different broker soon due to lack of detail in the information provided.
