Not able to login at all. After allowing the permissions, it asks for Quebec residents and if I tap on No, then it always display No internet connection screen, kindly resolve this ASAP.
Triangle App login sucks. Now every time I need to open the app to get my points at any CT store, I need to login. To make things more complicated, the Canadian Tire login for Triangle does not match the Credit card. I have spent hundreds of dollars without being able to collect the points. There's a troublesome process to reclaim those points , but seriously, fix your login system because I don't have time or patience to go through an unnecessarily complex login system. I'll just buy at Amazon.

app is literally not letting me register. keeps saying I have no internet. I used my wifi and data and nothing. someone please help.
App is absolutely terrible. The actual rewards system is good, but holy moly this app just straight up doesn't work most of the time. Useless.

won't load and if it does it crashes. it's been mediocre for years. Now it's unusable.
today all my points were redeemed. it was not me. in order to "dispute" this they require a physical piece of mail or to phone. it was not so much "money" that I am willing to send them a physical piece of mail or phone to inform them.
horrible does not go to the credit card at all anymore just the store app can't see my balance payments nothing absolutely garbage
had to change my password and just never able to log in. tried troubleshooting with customer service and after 15 mins they said we will need to transfer to digital team. pathetic how Canadian tire bank cannot do security check, verify etc as quickly as other banks. considering closing my credit card account.
you cant change your address from the app that should be a core feature if you have an app for a credit card. and possibly a confirmation of mailing address before they mail a card too you
App won't load. Cleared cache and could login only once, but then it froze once logged in. Following attempts, the app just tries to load the login page and nothing happens. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but just freezes before login page.
app worked fine the suddenly it just got forever stuck on the loading screen. no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall it no longer works. im not connected to a VPN or anything its just stuck in limbo.
During setup the app said I didn't have internet and yet I clearly did. I suspect it was blocked by a network wide ad blocker. I'm not disabling my network wide ad blocker so that I can use this app, so the app has been uninstalled.
Awful experience. The programming of this app is terrible. Tried to sign up and login. App crashed on first login. Sign in again. Blasted with pop-ups. App jumped to my browser to show me ads! Return to app. Close 3 more pop-ups in the app. Switched tabs to rewards only to be taked back to the browser for yet another ad. Just wanted to merg cards. Entered the info only to have no way to close the keyboard or scroll down to access the next button! So aggravated...
Do not get this credit card. You can't set up auto payment on the app. It's pretty dumb and inconvenient. Makes you wonder if they are hoping you don't pay on time so that you start paying interest.
horrible app. always signs out. can never sign in. even go through the reset password steps to change it and once its successfully changed it shows incorrect password when I go to sign back in. fix your app.
Terrible!! NEVER loads. Have to close and open repeatedly. Forces you to wade through adds before you can look at your banking. Not customer friendly at all. Feels very anti-customer; no response from the company, no resolving the issue. Got a different credit card and started diverting my money away from CT. Haven't been able to get the app to load constantly.
trying to reset your password is impossible. get put into a never ending loop and can never sign in again. have been trying for several months even before the update.

Cannot use the app. It says I have no internet connection, which I obviously do. Doesn't work with wifi, doesn't work with other people's Wi-Fi, doesn't work on my cell phone data. A quick Google search shows that this is a widespread problem, yet you do nothing about it. I've cleared the cache and the storage on the app I've downloaded and redownloaded the multiple times. Nothing works.
Frequently unable to open the app it just loads for a second and tells me they're experiencing technical difficulties which makes it useless to manage my account.
Says "Merge in Progress" for a couple of hours but its been a week. App closes after clicking okay. How can I even contact support? Doesn't want me to shop. And it's christmas season. Edit: Still merge in process. Been a month. smh Edit: Still the same after 4 months. Useless.
if you haven't used this app for a week it's "out of date" and you need to go to Google Play to update. I'm tired of everytime I'm at a checkout and go to scan this app it doesn't work because time and time again needs to be updated first.

I used to enjoy this app but a recent update screwed up the biometric login. App says Oops, something went wrong. I hope this gets fixed soon cause it's preventing me from using the app. I made sure 2-step vérification is off cause I used this app often (at least I used to). Not sure how to send a bug report so writing here instead. 2026-04-10 App was updated, issue remains, but eventually I found a way in. I wish that annoying pop-up "Oops, something went wrong" every time I need the app.
I have never seen a worse system to try and save a little cash ....like a dollar, getting gas!!! I mean make it easy not days long trying to figure these stupid rewards out or to sign up , register make sure they are linked ....it is ridiculous worst system ever to save a dollar. figure it out and make it easy......it's a dollar off shouldn't have to spend 3 days trying to save a dollar....change it for the better and ease of signing up. oh don't forget to lock it so your dollar isn't stolen!
Seems like a wide spread issue with a dysfunctional app. As others have indicated, there are many issues with the weekly offers. Sometimes I have none and recently I have two and no swaps. I try to plan purchases around offers so I guess I am supporting other retailers Canadian Tire has just overall become an awful store, towards consumers with poor customer service and changing various policies, as well as towards employees and how they do not value those that are high performers.
