Latest update broke it the day before an international vacation. I used it a lot before this happened.
This is the most intrusive app I have ever used. Be advised that it will read every single email you send and receive. It was sending notifications related to nontravel emails. I highly recommend NOT using this app unless you're OK with the company reading all your emails and sharing the information with whoever will pay for it.
Used go be a good app, now whenever I sign in and click anything, I get automatically signed out. My app is the latest version and fully up to date but useless if I can only stare at the home screen.
This app no longer is functioning. I assume it's been put in the "capable" hands n of AI. 🤔

I can no longer login as I am taken to a Google verification page that just breaks and stops any ability to log into the account. Can anyone please help on this? I see similar reviews lately. I've used this app for years without issue so hope this can be resolved.

waste of money
started out great now don't like it one bit. Signs me out by itself. New does not recognize my password. Does not import my trips from my email, etc. Going to cancel as soon as I figure out how to do that. Sorry really have never done this before but, feeling very frustrated.

Useless illegible colour scheme. Trips take almost a whole day to appear in my Google calendar. Far too long. Tripcase was far more useful. Requires a date of birth which is absolutely not necessary whatsoever just to tell me my flight is late. Drop the requirement or a complaint will be going to the information commissioners office under the 3rd principle of the data protection act. this.
This app has one glaring defect that is fatal. It will at times sign you out and then not let you access your info until you sign back in. However, when this occurs, every once in a while there is a major glitch and you can't sign back in. It has become a truly inconvenient hassle now. Why the app isn't designed to locally cache your info to always be available is beyond me. if you can't depend on it, what is the point?
Bug automatically signs me out and crashes. I'm in the middle of my trip. Thanks a lot. 2 years later this is still a problem
The interface wasn't user friendly and I gave up.
Can't get beyond login screen. Web site works ok but app doesn't react to sign in button being pressed. The app is useless. Edit: ok, now login works but even though I've the Pro version functionality is very basic. For instance, only my flight departure time is provided but not boarding time. Wouldn't boarding time be useful?
deleted my entire itinerary and logged me out
When importing updated itineraries it's unable to see that it is an update, so just adds the update. There's no way to tell which is the correct / latest update, making the itinerary useless. Where there are conflicts (it flags these) it should show date each way added, and option to merge, or delete either of the conflicts. Even on webpage, it's conflicts aren't easily managed - I currently have a plan flagged with conflicts but absolutely no way to address conflicts. So app is USELESS
not reliable
I like that it updates the trip as I add new excursions. It constantly forgets my password. Really annoying to use.

The "AIRPORT MAP" feature offers nothing. Just a pin of where the airport is, not an actual map to help guide you through the airport.

I've been a PRO usr for yrs. When it works, useful. The srvc is supposed to autoparse trip plans sent by email. That often FAILS; even from 'wellknown' vendors (e.g., AirBNB). Manual (re)entry is required. Filing a SUPPORT TICKET -- the ONLY way to contact! -- gets NO response. Not after days/weeks, on multiple tickets. If you don't care it doesn't work, & are good with support's non-response: +1. Otherwise, re-think spending a (further) dime. TONE-DEAF response here? "SUBMIT A SUPPORT TICKET".
I tried to log in and "An unexpected error occurred" is all it says, every time. I can log into Tripit on the website, but the app keeps failing. I even tried resetting my password, which was just a waste of time because the app still won't log in.
It used to be an excellent app, but is now mostly invasive malware. I can not use the app without being harassed to let it have access to my email. I am uninstalling and going back to manual planning.
stopped working. reinstall doesn't help. useless now. "unexpected error has occurred" with any sign in method.
Fir the past 2 weeks when I try to sign in it states "Access Denied" without allowing me to even add my information in. I now have no access to all 4 years of travel history!
Can't even verify account via email.? uninstalling .....
Deleted tripot because the functionality of this app has decreased. I no longer get gate updates or airport maps . I was told that all the features moved to the annual pay version. not paying $99/ year for what used to be free. the free tripit does nothing at all anymore. it only acts as an itinerary, which is redundant, because I already have an itinerary. without the features it used to have it is otherwise useless to me.

installed this, it said it was good to go, went to create an account but it keeps telling me that my password or email don't match and that they are case sensitive... but I'm creating the account so what is it trying to match? spent five minutes trying to sort it out and that's about as much time as I'll give it. decided to give it another go so I re installed it for the fourth time... still the same problem. that's enough for me to go somewhere else.
Pro subscriber. No flight update alerts. Sitting here after 5 emails regarding weather delays from my airline over the last 2+ hrs, not a single update from TripIt, and app still shows flight as "on-time". Same experience on past trips including delays, gate change alerts, etc. Very spotty detail population from forwarded emails from major hotel chains, car rentals. Really aggravating for what they charge for this app!! Not worth the paid subscription at all.

not a fan of this app. It's formatted like an app from the 2010. The organization of this app is absolutely atrocious. My trip to Colorado disappeared, but then my trip to a hike is on another new trip. This hike is supposed to be part of my Colorado trip. There's too much manual work that I can do this on a spreadsheet or just upload it onto my Google drive. This app is stupid.
Terrible sign up page. wouldn't accept most passwords as not complicated enough. even when using an automatically generated complex password, the page just keeps refreshing and not actually progressing. wasted too long trying. Deleted !

App no longer works. Cannot log in unless your default browser is Google
Trouble every time I sign in. Doesn't recognize my password. Have to reset the password. Times out immediately while trying to set up the password. I am worried this will happen while on my trip and it will take as much time or more than I could have just had it all in my notes. Also, the timeliness doesn't list things in order. Several glitches there.
It's 2026, how is there still NO option to share your trip itinerary from the app with a link? Only option is to email people, which is so archaic.
great update, totally lost my next trip. expedia intergration sucks.
nice when it works, but fails frequently. now requires a 15 character (!) password, but issues a an "unexpected error, please try later or contact customer supprt" - at that time you're already logged out and can't contact a support. I'm on the premium payment plan. frustrating.
