Update for 7/5/26. Before thinking about working for Uber, know this. Their app is awful and inefficient, literally set to waste your time with awful navigation and an algorithm that pays you as little as possible and wait for long orders. on top of that, the customer support and policies only help mild surface level problems. they will not help or aid you in anything complicated and are only there to say "sorry, we cant do anything." Uber support is useless and a disappointment.

Drivers are exploited to another level. I mean for a Rs. 25 ride, i would get only around Rs.10 after cutting all expenses. So think for Earning Rs. 500 how much hard work u have to do. Moreover pick up is sometimes 2kms away for which u will get nothing. Its like we are just working for free. Its better to sit at home than this
This is the worst app ever. First of all, its fare system is terrible; it almost always cuts the fare significantly at the time of drop-off-it shows ₹93 when the booking comes in, but drops to ₹62 by the time the ride ends. Secondly, why do new booking requests keep popping up while a ride is still in progress? It’s really irritating. I want a response from Uber regarding this.
too many bugs. A lot of the time it doesn't show destination when starting ride. It has too many glitches...STILL!
The offers are terrible, and I signed up to deliver in one area and I continuously get offers from over 20 miles away from that delivery area. I get sent the same offers repeatedly,if I declined it once Im going to decline it every time. overall disappointed with uber eats. oh and I got tip baited over 20 dollars so if you're wondering why I won't accept orders with high mileage that's why. Im practically paying uber eats to work for them. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

I've been with Uber for over a year! And my criminal record hasn't changed, from this new background check. It's taking way to long just to get approved! Don't rely on Uber as a income because they can close your app at any given point! Door Dash ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT JOB BTW! DD won't close your app well they do a background check you can continue 🙌 working! And won't send you to orders that have been picked up by other drivers and waste ur gas and time! Not to mention the wear and tear on ur vehicle
You will learn pretty quickly that most people are inherently terrible people. The vast majority are just not good humans who try to drag you down to their level of miserable. Support is no help and will actually lie and sabotage your account and tell you to do things that will get your rating lowered just for following their instruction to a tee. They designed it so that it can't be fixed even in the case of false reports that are proven to be false, and was even live with support at the time.
the lies and illusions and exploitive practices based in metrics is illegal offline. i have delivered 2 orders and never got paid for the deliveries.
Latest Uber Driver app has audio issue while I am on call with phone app. The uber noti sound is muted while I am talking on the phone. I tried many methods. Other apps work but I cant hear any uber sound including navigation. Please fix this since I can miss my trip requests when I am talking on phone.

I completed my quest and Uber still rejected me. Uber is a scam I do not recommend and they need to close this app down. Uber you freaking suck with your lowball. if you have any kind of history with the law, dont bother downloading..They judge you even if you have 20yrs free from law systems. they blame a separate company instead of their own actions.
