Hidden charges, double charges, auto subscription sign-ups on payment. I couldn't recommend this app to anyone.
can't delete address from the edit option, Ai keeps trying to guess where i am and asking me to verify if the address is correct. this app is annoying and already expensive and now the technical issues make this app simply useless and expensive

The functional app with simple categories is long gone.

they keep messing up the 2 for 1 orders. no wonder skip is still outselling them.
Waste of money doing everything possible to divert their mistakes to drivers and restaurants.
They sometimes charge twice for the same order. When called and asked why they say 'Technical error, will be refunded in few days'. This has happened for a more than 1 year. So if you make a 50K order, you will be charged 1Lak. Ridiculous 😂 none of those charges have been refunded yet to my knowledge. It seems Uber is running a scam operation in Sri lankan users. Customer service just wastes my time.
Uber eats has absolutely no customer service. my orders have been frequently wrong with absolutely no recourse. it is very hard to get a human to even report an issue to. it's normally just a machine response. they will go through three drivers until I get to my actual driver. which is weird? Because at the end of it, they ask you, it's the correct driver showed up. uber each is the most expensive delivery app and gives the least amount of customer service. i guess I'll pick up my own food.
I have had multiple problems with this app weather it be offers being incorrect leading to me canceling my order only to not get my money back after days of waiting and when I asked for help they told me I waited to long so I couldn't get my money back.
Driver picked up my order, drove past me to deliver another order, then came back to deliver my order cold and outside the promised delivery time window.
ordered $83 worth of food. you delivered it to wrong place and now ignore my text and calls. never use this service. rip off
Repeatedly orders are either stolen or not complete, am yet to receive my remaining money for the last order that is not complete. I believe I may not be using this app again, switching to another.

This app is a shell of it's old self. In the past, you could find great discounts, friendly drivers, and just have an overall pleasant experience. That is very much NOT the case today. 1st, they fully eliminated their customer support service phone number, directing users to the buggy non-responsive Ai chat bot over an order issue. Previously, within minutes via the app or on the phone itself, you could resolve an order issue via a refund, or a fresh new order or both. I DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!
So many requests now to take pictures of my food. Really Annoying. They also removed to option to adjust my tip of the driver does a bad job or just dumps the food off in front of the door instead of ringing the doorbell handing me the food as requested
Awful app and they either won't give refunds or won't give you what you're owed, I was missing two things from my order which came up to around £10 and they only refunded me £1, absolutely ridiculous, they also refused to refund two full orders that they cancelled and promised I'd get my money back on, I hate this app
Uber eats and doordash are both full of it. They're very misinforming and since it's not enough bars for me to tell what my actual story is, just don't let them cheat you because they will

Terrible customer support. My order was late, Uber said the restaurant's driver would deliver it, but the restaurant said they were waiting for an Uber driver and my food had been ready for 30+ minutes. I couldn't cancel, the in-app call didn't work, and Help only showed automated answers with no way to contact a real person. My kids came home hungry and upset. Extremely frustrating experience.
Terrible customer service, if there are missing items in your order they will not refund or replace items, so therefore im out of pocket, and when money is so tight these days with the cost of living its a discusting service that i will never use again.
I bought a combo that was 2x1 from Popeyes, when I received my order I only received one box, when I wanted to contact support to solve this problem, it was impossible for me to literally be a premium Uber customer to be able to have personalized assistance. ordered coffee from Dunkin donuts and the delivery driver spilled my coffee and Uber refuse to refund me for my drink I never got to drink and the delivery driver was not the same as the picture which is very dangerous and said they would be on a bike and pulled up in a car!!! I will never use Uber eats again
customer service is slow and unreliable
No matter how many orders are messed up, items missing, some order never received, you can always depend on customer support to NOT HELP AT ALL. They never help, they never have any accountability, they don't offer any uber credits towards Missing items.
these guys are money hungry, they force you into making a mistake on your ordering location (I.e. placed an order to the restaurant 2 doors down, but they show me the branch 3 towns away) instantly cancelled the order and they charge me in full. live chat is useless as they just say "well order was accepted" as if they dont instantly accept it on purpose to make it complicated. forcing me to call my bank to open an investigation on said charge, and placing the order all over. deceiving app.

Despicable, deceptive in-app popups signed me up for uber One, the only notification of which was my bank app telling me I had been charged, presumably due to a slip of my finger - no email, no obvious app changes to say I'm now paying. I'm sick of these enshittified middle-men apps charging extra for while they exploit their delivery employees and the businesses who actually provide the service... WHAT WOULD YOU SAY YOU ACTUALLY DO HERE UBER?

Terrible. No help. I was just scammed food swapped without asking. no one to check with no one to ask or complain. Recently my son also dropped phone in a uber but driver wouldn't cooperate no one to ask. Total disappointment. I am just frustrated that I was taken advantage of and I was unable to cancel order even though it wasn't something that was made. I feel the store purposely advertising something swapped it for something else that more expensive and scams you out of your cash.
Nonstop advertisements for Uber One. Close a full screen ad, immediately see another. When drivers or restaurants mess up, you are on your own. Support will do nothing.
