what's the point in the App? genuinely asking? charging people to literally find somewhere nice to go! when you can find them yourself on Google. I can't help but think this is a money grabbing system
Don't bother. Really poor catalogue of places.
As others have said, simply not good enough to warrant the subscription cost/model. Admittedly, I only used the free app, but rather than thinking wow, I was distinctly underwhelmed. Better off using Google maps, guide books, or the various blogs that exist.

very few 'Gems' , more of a holiday booking site
Nothing good on here. Just places to stay. Nothing interesting that's not in the national trust map or on Google. Pointless app. In light of the developers reply... Nope, tried it again, still nothing to find easily, only Big tourist spots and way too many places to stay and eat. I have travelled more of this country than most people and you have missed hundreds of 'Gems'. Litterally, within 10 miles of me now you missed 20 famous locations but had 5 places to stay. All your after is bookings.
this app is missing so much. it barely has anything within a 10 radius of me unless youre looking for a cafe. terrible app
It is not worth the money. When or if you get the app to work there are minimal "gems" around not enough to warrant a monthly fee, literally use google maps for free..... Some of the "hidden" gems are pretty awful too. No community contribution makes this a fail, had potential. This is a cash grab from a social media influencer. Even the social media page is just full of sponsored ads. (I have downloaded and paid the monthly subscription despite them saying i have not)
Unfortunately, the App won't even open on my Galaxy S25 Ultra. Because of this I can't give a full review as to how it may work. If I ever get it running I'll update the review.
You just released a new app with not much of the downloads and you start taking money? lol this is not how start up works.

I have 2 different anti virus apps and they are both now saying hidden gems has mailware remove as soon as possible this is a paid for app and should not be like thus hidden gems look into this

these are not "hidden" at all, looked up one place on google maps it has 893 reviews and ratings, along with extensive photos and videos showing the place full of people.

I was put off when I saw the minnack theatre in Cornwall on here as this is NOT a *hidden* gem. Yes it is a great place but it is very well known and extremely busy. it's one of the busiest places in this area. could be a great idea but doesn't quite hit
pricing model sucks, in my opinion. tiktok made the app look better then it is.
to pay to use the app is just greedy. Maybe try charging for the app itself other than installing it then paying a subscription
Missing so many attractions, monuments etc. Stick to Google folks.
don't bother useless update ----- here's your feedback, feels like designed to prey on tourists, no gems hidden or otherwise, pay wall on this is unabashedly scummy, get a job. imagine pay to unlock places to visit that already exist and our free to everyone. ask yourself, what does this app do that chat gpt doesn't, that a map doesn't, that 100s of social accounts doesn't. on top of the poor concept design.... dadada the app doesn't work 🥳 wow nice job guys
Apparently, the issue with the Android app closing was "resolved" on 16th May. I can't open mine as it just closes instantly, even after uninstalling and downloading again multiple times. Uninstalled and not downloading again!
App won't open 😢 it's running in the background but won't open as a screen.
Terrible app. Closes constantly, have to pay for the full set of hidden gems which is absolutely fine but if you're making people pay for it then at least make sure it works.
keep crashing
initially the app worked well, but now won't open. I initially installed this on my Pixel 7 (where it worked), and then, when it didn't, I installed it on my Lenovo tab M10. It didn't work there either, so it appears to be a problem with the app.
great apps, great gems, but deleted the app some time ago and when I've reinstalled it, it won't recognise that I have a premium subscription and asks me to set up a new subscription. it also won't let me cancel the monthly payments I've plbeen paying for months although I haven't been able to use the app. will be pushing for a refund and will update this review accordingly
listed 3 hidden gems in all of NI. also, carrick-a-rede rope bridge is probably one of the top ten attractions in NI and is not a hidden gem. the free app is therefore essentially useless. (mildly amused by the passive-aggressive replies the developers leave under every negative review)
I've tried to email someone to get a refund, but haven't heard anything back. not quite what I expected from the app.
like the initial idea but not paying to use
Sadly, absolute rubbish with a fairly decent idea. I live in a bit of a tourist hot spot with tons of history, water falls, walks and historic locations, so I figured it would be a good litmus test. What it offered was one of the most overvisited waterfalls in a fifteen mile radius rather than anything hidden, along with zero walks, zero historic monuments etc - and I checked every option on the map. Honestly didn't think I'd ever reasonably feel scammed out of £3.99, but I absolutely do.
Waste of money
The app is basically a subscription service to see Air BnBs. Anything close to me is 1 'gem' - which isn't hidden at all and then roughly 25 properties which redirect you to book an appears to be an affiliate link. In response to the developer- happy to provide screenshots of the limited info and of only seeing the rental properties

Can't login to my account where I already have subscription and after downloading an app it's forcing me to get another subscription as there no option to login in to your existing account..
£3.99 a month, and you'd find better in local guidebooks. Nah, I'm good thanks.
I deleted it very quickly after downloading. Why would I pay a subscription without first seeing if there are some hidden gems near me? It should allow you to view, say, 5 hidden gems before asking for a subscription.
The developer is living in cuckoo land if they think people will pay the outrageous price for the subscription. Pure greed. The irony is they'd make a lot more money making it reasonably priced. There's no need for it to be a subscription either, should just be one payment. Another example of greed. Shot yourself in the foot with this

google maps is better. you get 100 free hidden gems, you have to pay for more. the rest is advertising accommodation. the insta account is interesting, this app could have been awesome, but its not. Just a money grab and advertising product. no worth a download.

Paid for subscription is overpriced. Would prefer free with adverts. Or just a pay £5 (max.) once option Can't remove gems from bucket list once added Map is crowded with parking and hotel options. Would want option to remove. Edit in response: paying for one month is not the same as paying once. By paying once mean you pay once and have access to the app forever.
Downloaded, opened, closed, uninstalled. Not much to see for free. Definitely not enough to hook you up. Even if you decide to pay I feel it's way too much.
App dozent work, show only car parks,. I remove app after when I discovered that dozent work.
