Signed up and answered all their questions only to find that if I take the free trial, I have to remember to cancel, which I never trust. Anyone that banks on you forgetting to cancel seems dishonest to me, and I won't give them my business sorry.
looked promissing but I don't want to login. so did not get passed the welcome screen.

the app uses your email handle as your username. If you contribute with a chord, or a video, everyone has access to your email handle. they don't allow you to change your username, so if your full name appears in your handle (disregarding any privacy concern you might have) you just have to create a new account, and loose all your contributions. Because they don't allow you to import them or transfer them. I contacted their support to ask for help about it, they just answered "no, we can't".

Ads.. upselling.. waste of time. Canceled subscription and deleted app.

I don't use the app often and tend to use it less now, because I repeatedly get questionnaires when opening the app on my experience until you click through or select random answers and then "we are customising the app for you" followed by more adverts to lessons, with hard to find close navigation. The last time, I even got a temu like scratch popup. this is on the paid version. I just decided to close the app, and no wonder I hardly ever use it anymore

annoying pop ups
Charged twice. I've been charged £39.99 twice and there's literally nowhere to go to ask why or how I get a refund for the double payment.
every fundemantal thing behind a paywall. im a beginner and a lot of things like HEARING how the song plays to see if they are the tabs i was looking for or SIMPLY ACCESSING some tabs that are LIMITED only to PRO users
they just did an update, lost all my saved tabs, hundreds of them and they are asking for credit card info to continue use.
used this app for years but the ads and cost to remove are too much.
its good everything is, its just why do people need to pay for the original chords and tabs!?

app doesnt tell u its paid only and makes u go trough 10minutes setup giving al kinds of personal information and then tries to charge u for the whole year. how about no

The app now hides behind an ad/ pay prompt? It makes me reintroduce myself/ interests every time I reopen it. Not the app I remember, I will miss its vast library sorely. GuitarTuna is way more user friendly, they just have the inventory of user submitted tabs... yet.
makes me answer a full quiz EVERYTIME. I open the app. I have to answer questions that are not related to anything I want from it. Then it makes me go through three more windows of it trying to persuade to buy something??? No idea what because I ALREADY PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION!!!! I pay- let me bloody access what I pay for without a full on exam about my practicing habits.

It's a complete rip off. I had the app back in the day, and it had everything. Now it makes you pay for every little tune. They dont honor the old paid accounts either.

it does that annoying fitness app ahit where they datamine you for info about what you want to do (with horrible choice options mind you) and then try to back you into coughing up money for it to actually do what you downloaded it for.

Those kinds of monetisation methods should be illegal! The app demands that you subscribe at EACH action you take. Click a button? SUBSCRIBE! Search a song? SUBSCRIBE! Go back one step? SUBSCRIBE! They offer you a 20% discount. 2 minutes later, it's 80%... Then you delete the app, and you get an email with a 90% discount offer?! This is just plainly insulting.
I was automatically charge in this app that I never used, help me get a refund.
used to be good but now Adams when i want to look at the tabs i saved it keeps pestering for me to purchase for like 40+ steps. absolutley unbearable, guess its time for different sollutions. edit to respond: its not ads, just a pestering sales pitches about the premium whatevers that are almost worse than unskippable ads.
used to be so good, now it's bombarded with tons of ads. I had cancel a lot of things just to look at a basic tab.
even with a subscription, I hate this app. to get to my songs, I have to click through no less than 5 ads. I just want to play songs. take my money and just be happy.
extremely difficult to use
If you're gonna have a subscription plan, maybe don't have me put in all my information or ask me all these questions before telling me HEY YOU GOTTA PAY TO DO ANYTHING. waste of time.
Scam! I signed up for a year subscription of 19.99€ and a week later I was charged 99.99€ for unlimited access, which I didn't agree to. Beware of hidden charges and membership activation that you didn't agree to. What terrible business practice!
Tried using this app, when I went to play a song it wouldn't pick up on anything I was playing. Microphone access was enabled. I was playing the correct chords.
didn't let me do anything before asking for $70 for a year subscription :/
Everything is paid for stupid app
can't use app for free get instantly paywalled with no way of saying "no thank you" and getting on with learning a song
it sucks and it does not have ukulele chords
This app is so irritating. The website makes it so you basically have to use the app on mobile. It takes for ever to load and then you have to wait for an ad to load the tab. If you want to record your guitar playing or open another app, you have to minimize the app and then have to wait for it to load up again even after already opening the tab.

The amount of ads for the "pro version" is abhorrent and makes the app borderline unusable. Btw: Clicking on a pro tab or similar does (and should) give you a "pro-version" ad. This is fine and expected, i am complaining about other ads only.
Canceled my subscription and got charged anyway.
