Ever since the Hishi Akebono update, the game has been so crash prone. Almost any time, randomly crashes not just the app, but my full phone. Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, not an old phone really, it should not be crashing the phone, and it's not a mad app, it has had 4+ years of optimisation in the Japanese markets, the western release should not be having crashing issues of this calibre.
Very fun game, but has suddenly stopped working on my Pixel 6, just refuses to open - even after a reinstall. Very disappointed as my only option now is to play on PC. Update 24/04/26 After many android and game updates the game still does not work at all

so i don't think i can enjoy the game to how machanics works and for my opinion the game is not fun and boring the only good thing about it for me is the cut scene and other umamusume performance and music so yeah i hope they improve the game gameplay and make it more cooler...✌️
I love this game but I got in the hospital because I panicked that I put my wrong birthday. I need to restart all over just to put my birthday...I don't even like the system of it, please add a birthday change! 🙁
Great game, but it has serious bugs with some Pixel series phones, causing hardware-level errors: video and audio continue but the screen and even hardware buttons become unresponsive, forcing you to hard-reset. This has gone on unaddressed for months and months, and each new update only destabilizes the game more and more. Support is unhelpful, but when you're the global audience and not the JP one, severe issues like this don't seem to get elevated. It's beyond frustrating.

If you aren't into RNG and loot boxes or emotionally unstable or a free to play, I highly don't recommend this game. the amount of RNG reliance is horrific, this game is more like a casino and a cash grab game and a farming game. I guarantee you, your Uma can loose to a randomly npc who is like 6-8th favorite to win WHO EVEN HAS LOWER STATS, and even if you use clocks, the result gets WORSE everytime. I absolutely love the story and the characters, but this RNG reliance is absolute hot garbage.
There has been a bug that often freezes or crashes the game on some devices (freezing is my case) after the Hishi Akebono update. This game is fun and all, but this particular bug turned the experience infuriating. It does not seem that the team is trying to address this bug either.
Optimization of the game has been getting worse every patch or update. My phone doesnt heat up more than 44°c for other games but Uma Musume does nowadays. Trackblazer was already long to clear and yet i need to cool off my phone after 2 career runs.. Please, dont forget to optimize your game.

worse account recovery ever, i forgot my ID, because i used to play on my computer, but when i tried to recover it, they didnt listened to the information i gave to them, tried everything, and lost a account where i had my fav horse in there, and now i need to once again, depend on that trash rng to get her
3rd May 2026 - The app crash/freeze bug while playing is still here. They won't bother fixing it, so I won't bother playing this game anymore even on Steam. Funny how they released a "mobile game" but you can't even play it on mobile. Rare (but now it's common I guess?) L from Cygames.
absolutely terrible. instantly uninstall from your device immediately! not made for S9FE samsung tablet, it can crash or freeze your device. I do not recommend playing this, delete as soon as you can

Worst game experience ever. This game is not beginner friendly, and sucks at explaining game mechanics. It took me a long time to find what I was supposed to do. Do not recommend if you are tuff.
rng hell, idk if I love the characters enough to still play this game now, if 1 hour of playthrough everytime still gives 1 star spark most of the time
Trackblazer might be the worst game mode ever made. Too much RNG to train good characters after you already invested so much into pulling them. I would just recommend waiting for the next scenario (major update) before playing. This is before we even mention the frequent crashes and bugs you get on loading screens which make the game unplayable.
loved the game but i remember it's a gacha game and i need to spend my entire life savings to play this game. I uninstalled it because I can't have fun unless i spend 800 dollars a month and all my free time in it. (also I regret spending 80$ on this)

Low score is due to the game frequently hard crashing both phone (Pixel 6 Pro) and Google Play Games PC version. Unsure why this happens but when it does it requires a full reboot, phone seizes.

I'll give it 2 stars. I tried it, it could have been fun but I just don't understand how to play it. not saying it's a bad game I played for a few days, it's just not for me.

Yup I hate the event(trackblazer) so much that even I play it once, I can't even finish a single one because I'm losing everything, the game mechanics focus on racing not the story, yeah it's a waste of time for me now, I just log in and play not the story but in playable games
