Their clothing and brand is alright but the app is horrible, refused my payment, and I tried to make the payment work for over 2 days, tried every method I could find online, switched cards, made new accounts, and nothing worked. Tell your users why payment doesnt work, and provide more useful tips instead of "Unfortunately we dont know why your payment was refused." Never using this stupid app ever again, only buying with cash in person now..
doesn't work in the UK. won't let me download the UK version.
No in-store returns and $7 fee for shipped returns makes this an absolutely useless app for clothing shopping, anything you buy is a gamble. Shop in store or not at all with Uniqlo.

A perfect example on how not to do an app. It's a completely mini version of the main website. Furthermore you get no app only deals and it's actually harder to order. The pricing is also off. update 12/18/26 - app is still garbage. 7 years later. at best it process quicker and flows more easier. but it deleted my old account and the process with reregistration is convoluted and dumb as it keeps looping to the registration page. wth designed this app UI without a login or log out button.
generally like Uniqlo products except buying anything from Uniqlo online. Their return and exchange is a big hassle. You cannot do return or exchange at the store. There is a 9.99 shipping fee even for exchange. Additionally, the exchanged item would be charged at the new price at time of exchange. Not the price you initially paid. They dont stock XS at the store to try and you must buy online. You are trapped! 0 star.
coupons don't work
this app is very misleading !!! packages are delivered by door dash using unprofessional services who drove my driveway and messed up my lawn because they are terrible drivers, returns purchased online are not returnable at the store, and the store won't alter any online purchases items
Filtering through the items is really confusing. I dont know why they made it choose specific category from the start. I want see all the items at first and let me filter based on what I want or who i am buying for. It is just confusing and wasting alot of time for me navigating back and forth when simple filtering could have worked.
dumb app. you have reinstall just to log in if you need to reset your password or account. its also super slow.
Be very careful with their refund policy in the US. They try to trap you into transferring amount on a gift card. Make sure you do not try and exchange items. Always return times and then buy you new items in a separate transaction. Their returns are not like other US stores. Very bad experience

Wasn't fond of the app to begin with because it kept going back to the home page, but my membership number changed, and none of my previous history transferred over after I installed the new app.
App Update 8/16: does not have any of my purchase history. when i view "purchases", the latest history was only till April 2025.
bad app interface
EDIT: app seems mostly functional now days after its launch. ORIGINAL REVIEW AT LAUNCH: app is broken and/or poorly made. can't easily browse clothing, or even locate a store based on my GPS or postal code. even when I'm physically in a store, or give it the stores own postal code. just tells me there are no stores in my area (there are at least 5 stores within 25 km). not sure why they discontinued the other app when it worked perfectly up until they shut it down
poor app. needs updates to work.
the ui is terrible i just wanna browse products why is there a live tik tok feed and swiping for random ads and promos.
current version crashes on pixel 8.
Coupon lost during checkout, went back to edit address after applying coupon and it would not reapply after editing.
difficult to navigate, notifications are unreliable
reviews never work, I wrote a review on a product and it always says unable to post.
pushing multiple notifications during my work day, every day, is insane. do you really think people will keep such an annoying app active?
"We've made a new app, update to the new one" okay *updates app* New app: "A password reset is required for all customers." okay *resets password* "Congratulations you've entered an infinite forgot password doom loop." At least I can still see the young people in clothes that don't fit
