I am trying to download the Universal Orlando app on my 15-year old's phone. The app is rated for Everyone 10+. When he finds the app on Play Store there is a message that The developer has restricted access to this app for accounts of anyone under 18 years of age. I have the app and find it very helpful and would like to allow my child to have access to it. I have read that some of the experiences in the parks rely on the app. How do we get around this contradiction?
I love Universal but this app is absolutely horrendous. I can't even sign in without it crashing.
App is constantly crashing. It is worthless. Please don't send me a generic response. Just fix it please.
Won't let me create an account. Just keeps saying to enter a valid email address even though it is valid. Totally useless as I'm at the park next week.
app has stopped keeping me signed in which is annoying to keep logging in even after an hour or so even with remember me option checked on.
hey girl, looks like your devs didn't test this app very much. text isn't showing up in buttons - they're functional, but we have to guess what they do. pretty basic stuff. push a hotfix today and I'll update the review ✌️

Update: I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, restarted phone, and it still continues to failed. I have a Samsung S25FE. Failed ordering food and merch... garbage app...
Hate downloading an app then having to link to credit card. Horrible selection of food, no water available have to buy soda. Absolutely hate this experience. Will never go back to universal again.
Will not let my kids download the app. That makes it useless for the band and the wands you purchase at the parks. Thus I partly wasted my money on a Harry Potter wand and super Mario band since the kids could not use the app with it.
I can't even get it to open.. it crashes every single time.. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled and I still can not get it to work.
Wallet section of the app is broken and unable to see. You CANNOT buy using the app which is impossible at certain restaurants. It has been broken since Feb 2026. Its April. FIX IT!!

why can't I install this app on my daughter's android phone? she's 14 and going on a class trip. the app info says it's appropriate for ages 10+. you need an app that provides everything but purchases so kids can get real time ride wait times and a park nap. Disney does that. are you a competitor or not really?

First reported the problem here in 2022, the reply was the issue would be raised internally, but nothing's changed. Nightmare trying to get food in parks w/o app.

Wait times are VERY underestimated. It's been a challenge to even get 4 rides in a day due to insane lines that aren't reflected in this app. We've been able to get in ~15 a day at Disney.
Does not allow my 14 year old to download the app at all. Rated 10 plus. Removed all age restrictions and still gives her an error that the "Developer has restricted access to of anyone under 18." Makes no sense. The app is used for wait times or looking at the maps. Emailed the NBC email address listed and still no response. Please fix this.
App sucks, wont ever let me finish the process to buy tickets. Always an error message. Called , they said they are fixing it for over a month.
Pay and Link Reservation is not working. I tried to add to my wallet and received an error. same thing with the reservation link. I called app support who stated they are aware of these issues.
you can't just go anywhere and buy for or stuff unless you have this app kinda feel like I wasted money on the park tickets

Wanna connect your Tickets goodluck. Gateway Timed out. no matter the internet connection. This app is Trash.Goodluck. you would think that this would be fixed. Looking at an older comment, this hasn't worked properly since October 2025. Pretty sad for a company that makes so much.

unable to add tickets as it keeps refreshing as we switch to other app to copy the barcode. also unable to do the photo validation as it doesn't take photo at all. total waste app. dont waste your time downloading this.
Just updated this app today and it is pretty much useless now. Can't even see my hotel reservations anymore so I have to call Universal, which defeats the purpose of having AN APP!
app doesn't work after update
Mobile ordering doesn't work on my galaxy s21. I tried to use it on my trip and it never worked even with permissions, location, and i checked the app was updated. this put us in a huge bind to get food as all quick service places basically have only 1 real cashier and it took forever to order. Put in more cashiers especially at epic.
It's always been a good app, but now I can't even view ticket prices without sharing my location data. No thanks.
I can't see what restaurant my reservations are for, it just says "null" on everything, this app sucks.
very disappointed this app doesn't work at all. too many bugs. it won't let me sign in, it won't let me link my tickets, it won't let me validate my photo. our trip is tomorrow to the park and this app doesn't work and hasn't worked for months!!
garbage app. this isn't a banking app so why do you have to log me out for security? ludicrous and makes it harder to use. After using in parks for 2 days I found it worthless. You (app developer) should try to use it yourself and see how worthless the interface and features are. Deleted just like I've deleted universal parks.
found it difficult to use, confusing and not enough features to be useful. Have a real person walk around the parks and use it and you will see how subpar it is. UiUX designers for this app don't have a clue. So glad I'll never need it again. Bye!
all the buttons are at the bottom of the screen and the app doesn't render properly for Android OS taking into account the navigation button overlay. So all of the in app buttons are behind the android OS navigation buttons, making the app completely useless. I was having issues booking a vacation through the website (because the site is horrendous) and read it was easier to do through the app, but that's clearly not the case.
Doesn't work and a waste of time
Possibly the worst travel oriented app I've ever used. It couldn't be less intuitive or more confusing... when it works. Honestly, what a disappointment.
Can't link reservations
The app is recently become horrendous and unusable when checking for wait times. I used to be able to rely on it all the time. Now it just freezes, and loads a white screen. I have uninstalled and re installed the app, done everything I could to stop this from happening. Nothing works. It is a pain in the actual *** to not have a conveint feature such as this in the app while in the park. This is unacceptable. I don't know what you did, but the app used to be amazing, and used to be reliable.
