Can make all the claims in the world about data security, but its been shown time and time again as being false claims.

closed my account after being with them from the beginning. bit of a kick in face. especially when they asked for id verification to then only after that be closed. shouldn't have set me up on false pretenses. and I referred so many others! I got it up to $15 per referral. after this investigation, couldn't give me any definitive information about "what they discovered" cheers, thanks for nothing. do not recommend.

Do Not Use!! I was a customer for almost 5yrs, and I was frozen out of my account that had all the money I have for 2 weeks with no explanation. Only when I lodged a complaint with AFCA did I see some positive reactions. Stay Away!

They have this paid "hifi" feature to try and use music to help you save, but the music makes me want to fall asleep. How could they have made banking even more stressful? I listen to the music, and it just reminds me of the people who spend all of their cash on goon back in the Uni days.
money got stolen out of my account and they said to me that they can ask the person to give it back but if they say no there is nothing they can do then blocked me from using them again be careful with this bank

Users are Flowing away from Up, thanks to the new Flow and Grow rates on offer - now slashing your interest to 1.5%. edit: dev response: I have reached out and had "insights" shared at the time it was rolled out initially. It boils down to "sounds like a you problem". Makes it hard to recommend you, which is a shame because for years Up was the no-brainer choice for Aussies.
i have never ever delt with anyone like these , they stole my money, closed my account over money that was gifted to me..

I can't even make an account, they said there was suspicious activity on my account and didn't give me anymore information. I loved this app and I signed up when it first came out, sucks that they've blocked me from using it without really knowing why.
have been using them for years, generally a good experience, but recently they let my card expire didn't give me a new one, we're 6 days into March with no card, I leave for a flight over seas in two hours, they suggested I pay for shipping to send a card over seas and hope it doesn't get stolen, otherwise, they suggested to pull out a month's worth of money from Woolworths/ other stores (thousands when you factor in accommodation), and then convert it at the airport, nullifying UPs exchange rat
This app is just unnecessarily confusing. It might be cooler than a traditional banking app but it's design is not intuitive and it's not scaling well with new features. For example setting up and managing auto transfers is extremely confusing, especially when a 2up account is in the mix. Update: the more time i spend with this app the harder it is to use. stop trying to be cool and just make it easy to use
Be warned! You cannot make transfer to foreign bank accounts or to any investment accounts. If you transfer to Wise, Revolut or even Bitcoin accounts you will be banned with no room to explain.
I've been trying to set up my account but it won't let me pass the passcode section. it keeps telling me my passcode is incorrect no matter how many times I reenter the code.
you have to be a professional photographer to even start using this bank. you give them every detail of your life then they want photos so you chuck them up and reject every photo and don't give you any other way to upload them. was the most frustrating waste of my time.
It's not working
used to be great, but haven't been able to get to my money for a few days now, my app is fully updated and everything, but it is stuck on the opening screen and goes no further
I used up to make a single transfer to coinjar of $200 and had my account closed. what an absurd product with zero consideration of real world use cases and why anyone would even want to use an app like this in the first place. avoid at all costs if you value your financial freedom and some basic respect as a user

there seems to be a glitch, when I "cover" a payment from a "saver" it takes money out of that "saver" but all I want to do is assign future payments to that "saver", can you fix this?
