The card is highly unreliable as it's constantly getting declined and the worst part is the customer service team will fob you off telling you to wait for them to resolve the situation, which they next do without a further message.

💫 This company has NO phone number for customer service. And does not respond well, or in many cases, at all, to serious problems either with the app or your account. I have invested over $73k in crypto through the app (which has since mooned), & I am STILL being ignored. No contact for over 2.5 weeks, despite several reminder emails from myself. EDIT: Still no contact! Update: STILL BAD CS! Update early 2026: STILL NO CS PHONE NUMBER EVEN FOR LARGER ACCTS SUCH AS MINE

every time I open up the uphold account and log in it just stays on the green screen sometimes I might be lucky if 5 minutes later it logs in but 9 out of 10 times it stays on this green screen and I close it and I reopen it and log back in probably five times and then I just give up... Well here it is months later it's still acting the same way and the developers have not contacted me 😡😡😡 HELLO... I UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED THE APPLICATION IS STILL HANGS ON A GREEN LOADING SCREEN... 😡
For more than six months, this app has not been working, can't get my money out. Garbage app, won't recommend it. Developers don't read reviews, don't respond, they just don't care.
I have had this account for over 5 years and in the last 2 years I've struggled with the ability to access my account. Last time I had access, I tried to remove my funds and close account. Not allowed. I want my money due me. Their was 271.00 last entry. I had XRP, and I placed funds in bitcoin. There was 1 other I can't remember. I recently changed my password, but don't remember what is was. Not allowed to save it. Some needs to address this access problem!
As of April 2026, the Uphold app isn't allowing me to use caps for logging in.

They lock you out of your account after forcing you to reset your password for no reason if you accidentally try to use passwords you've used in the past. Good luck getting your financial information in a timely manner.

7 plus years customer with Uphold. AVOID AT ALL COST. They will lock you out and use bots to "Help" you. Then weeks later your still unable to trade or have your tax records.

Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don't say this lightly. Months and months to solve an account issue.
horrible app. wait 5 days for cool down just to have it say wait another 24. deposit fees, purchase fees, sending fees, and the fees are insanely high. use a different exchange, this one is only good for the charts if even cause I didn't get that far because of the fees.
Not user friendly. I wanted to remove my account as i did not use it, but could not because there was money kn the account. So i had to relink my card and add money in order to withdraw. However, I had to complete FIVE VERIFICATION steps in order to withdraw money.
I'm not one to give bad reviews but this to much! I was restricted\banned to sending curpto over cryto networks. they said address is connected to fraud. they address they flagged is my recieveing for my ETH to a non custodial wallet that I own! Uphold is so frustrating l'm leaving this platform for whatever its worth. I gave proof wallet is mine all I got back was generic descision is final oh but hey it's okay cause all ur account features are available. Hope this gets someone attention.

Uphold no longer allows 3rd party authenticator apps for logins. They FORCE you to use this app instead (unless of course, you need to sign in to the app). There is no added security benefit, and this reeks of an attempt at artificially driving downloads.

Transaction fees are horrible, your making me go to other exchanges to avoid such high fees. I always recommended you guys but I cant stick around with such high fees 😔

I prefer to use the website but it only allows me to transact on the mobile app once I acknowledge my ID. the mobile app only allows me to trade or deposit money. I want to see the whole array of what Uphold provides. How do I get into my account and bypass the app except for authentication?

Do not use Uphold, I got all my XRP stolen! (Someone from overseas logged into my account from and transferred all my XRP. How were they able to bypass MFA?? My device and Google account used for email/MFA were not compromised). Uphold doesnt want to take any responsibility eventhough there was zero issues on my end. You have been warned!.
The platform locks you in by blocking crypto transfers to wallets outside of Uphold. What is the point of having such account???

ABSOLUTE THIEVES THEY GIVE YOU A CODE AT THE START WITH TWELVE WORDS. NOW NORMALLY WHEN THEY DO THAT THERES ANOTHER WAY YOU CAN GET INTO YOUR ACCOUNT BUT THEY LOCK YOUR CRYPTO INSIDE AND YOU CANNOT GET AT IT. they also say that they are in cahoots with brave but they don't give you the crypto.

Uphold now requires this app even if you have 2FA enabled, horrible user experience. To log into the browser I need to download this app, log in to the app, accept my browser log in, uninstall the app.
