Which I had chatgpt search the terms and they DO NOT mention anywhere on the time frame to unrestrict. Talk about a company who wants to control your assets. They literally told me that my account is fraudulent. I verified my identity and still will not help.
Ridiculous making you download an app to login in via Web. Then to login on the app you verify by text anyway?

I would give it no stars if I could. They banned my account because I attempted to transfer my usdt to an external wallet. They flagged it as suspicious and without a reason banned my account and forced me to transfer my remaining balances out as fiat and pay all the fees associated with that. Uphold is trash and can't be trusted.

This App shouldn't be allowed in the App store. Look, The App is pretty easy to use. I'll give that little koodo. Another fee to convert from crypto to USD, another fee to move the funds to your IRL bank. So yeah, they're maving money on your use. To trade on their platform is a loosing propositio

unethical way to increase user counts i never knew nor registered i received a verification mail i thought someone was trying to create an account maybe hackers so I requested a forgot password and i received otp maybe my account is made by someone else earlier or this is are scammers

Uphold is a disaster if you plan to move crypto to a cold wallet. I bought some XLM and tried to move it incrementally to my cold wallet. They blocked my 3rd and final move which was by far the largest. Then they informed me that I would not be allowed to move any more crypto to an external wallet. I answered all their questions. They then tell me that they are concerned about the "pig butchering" scam. Now they won't release my $626 of fiat currency. Do business with Uphold at your own risk.
Don't use this app. They cut off my access to my account and after repeated tries to get them to reset my account for over a month They keep giving me instructions that don't work and haven't replied to my last request for 4 months. Wasn't with them long enough to have a lot invested, but definitely don't trust them with your money. Their security is you never seeing your money again!!!

took my money and wont reply to my support ticket for over 2 weeks. been using uphold for 6 years and never had a problem until june 2026. sent to a valid address ive sent before but this time they flagged it for review and wont release the funds or provide any updates

this company seem to want to hold onto their customers money for no legitimate reason when a customer, Me, deposit money and pay almost 4% or over $ 5 on 135 and then when you want to withdraw it to the same account that you deposited it from wants to charge another 2% or almost $ 3 and guess what, then they say that they need to place a security hold on your money while the take days and days to research, supposedly under some unknown legal means, why you want to withdraw funds.
It did not pay me. This app did not pay me and this app was very bad. This app holds your funds every time you try to withdraw. It holds your funds on a separate account and you can never withdraw

Just had a bad experience with this company, I don't think this is a trustworthy exchange. Support just stopped me from moving my crypto even after doing their biometrics authentication etc. Still fighting to get my crypto out from this exchange, don't trust this exchange. Wow, just looked at the 2 stars & 1 star review and couldn't even finish them. I should have thought more about using this. Looking to escape from this one now, to any new user's thinking of using this exchange PLEASE Don't!
Custom service is a farce. They are straight up stealing. Twice I've sent SOL USDC from my Jupiter Global account to my Uphold SOL USDC and the funds aren't available unless I go through customer service. They wouldn't even update me on the issue. It's been a week of straight silence. Over $60. I'm glad it was not, and will not be, anything over that amount that I'll trust them with again. I'm not giving them a chance to screw over me in a major way. I've seen and been through enough.
ridiculous fees, forced to use the app to log into the site pissed me off since I've never used the app in 10 years, absolutely stupid system to withdraw, and ofc we have the absolutely over the top lack of PRIVACY. These people forget that it's OUR $$, and the crypto was specifically designed for anonymity. Been a customer for over a decade, I'm out, you guys have ruined it. mixing services and privacy is what I am looking for, I'm done with these tyrannical services ✌️
Seem a bit hungry on transaction fees. Debit card is handy though. notifications are either off, or one every 30 minutes.. can see why i keep turning them off

Uphold canceled my ability to send my attorney payments stating that her wallet had several fraudulent claims made against it. If you look at a wallet look up service for her wallet, it doesn't even show that it was my wallet that transferred to hers. When my lawyer first brought this up I thought she had to be wrong. The transfer to her wallet came from a wallet with a 49,000.00 balance and mine was no where close to this. Someone could be doing this to create a tax deduction maybe at Uphold ?
I'm unable to send MY money to my debit card, because uphold deems it "suspicious". This app rejected my attempt to send BTC to my friend, after waiting DAYS for their stupid "cooling period". Get this: I am allowed unrestricted DEPOSITS to uphold, but zero withdrawals 🤔...hmmmm... imagine that. They'll gladly take your money, but GOOD LUCK getting it back out 😂😂

There is something rotten in Denmark ... I'm not sure what has went wrong with Uphold but their Customer Scare Team are belligerent , as a long time customer who is in the process of closing his account, ps that wasn't a misspelling above , personally , I'm just really disappointed ... there are much better options out there 🫡🏆
Terrible service, a huge rip off compared to any other crypto platform, and they purposely make it confusing to withdraw cryto. You can get more for your money on any other platform because they skim way too much. If you have used any other platform you know this. I ordered two cards because I never received the first and after 4 months haven't received any card.
used to like them. now their system doesnt work when needed to. I've lost thousands of dollars missing key trades while thier system crashes. Just yesterday I tried trading and yet again lost money on volatility due to them not trading my assests.

Disgusting platform.... rejected a payment because the address was not updated. when I updated the address they blocked my account and still cannot withdraw, buy, sell or anything!!!! No wonder crypto is finished!! These woke organisations that hold your money like its theirs! The only thing I will UPHOLD is physical precious metals IN FUTURE which third PARTY SCUM cannot touch. JUST WRONG...AND YHEY ARE ALL THE SAME!
This is the worst exchange app I've ever had, I was robbed of $10,000 in XRP and DOGE. Customer service is the worst and my case was not resolved.
