Account deletion when you no longer want an account with them is a hassle.
it isn't worth the hassle. you add your cards and they sometimes will ask for further proof even though it shows in the app what card you used. the ads on radio are misleading. cashout any time but they charge you to cash out if you don't have a certain amount. you sometimes have to drive two or three towns away to get a discount. it really isnt worth all of the hoops you have to jump through.

Not worth the inconvenience to be permapending or get pennies back on dollars. I doubt any money-back made here is worth the trouble to anyone who currently needs a leg up. it certainly isn't for me.
It used to have a decent payout, 1 cent a gallon is hardly worth it. Edit: after developer response I will be cashing out and deleting this garbage app.
The commercial for this app states that you can deposit your cash back into your PayPal. It specifically says in the advert, now that I have cash back available, I cannot deposit it into my PayPal, the app now says that PayPal is not supported. so I was lied to, used this app built up cash back and now I cannot deposit it. So FYI you cannot use PayPal or Cash App, despite them telling you that you can in their advertisements. They are liars.
I wish you could give it zero stars I would Used to be really good But issues lately uploading receipts No good way to contact to get help I would give it zero stars if I could need to keep e mailing not getting cash back after years of using no help geting back to you cash back takes so long if you get it all all please stay away not worth the hassle
app is a terrible. I have uploaded 3 different receipts for businesses that participate. received nothing back money wise. their customer service is trash and just ai that asks you to reload what you already uploaded.... don't download it's a waste
liars.... gas station is 30 cents more expensive than the app tells you... total SCAM
they want your CC info. and dont recommend the cheapest gas. they want you to go to a station that is higher than the lowest available. then actually tell you that, after the discount (money back) ends up being the same or more that Gas Buddy. whats crazy is that the station can be further away than the one thats cheapest. and the need to conect a CC. no thanks.
Should be 5 stars, but the login with Facebook option is broken! Doesn't work, tells the account is created already and when using my email address, the error says it was previously used via Facebook and it reverts back to logon with Facebook. Can't even access the funds I accumulated.
Will not let me delete my file. They said click on here. They want me to reinstall app. Tired of the BS in my understanding.
Was working fine, go to check the deals available on app, and it's logged me out. go to log back in and it won't let me tells me "error code action is forbidden" Will change rating when it's fixed.
Gotta love how as gas prices soar, they keep rolling back the cash back amounts... I was already getting less cash back per purchase, now even less per gallon. I'll be buying gas wherever makes the most fiscal sense now, whether they partner with Upside or not.
it is missing gas stations I have used
when u use the hell out of the app. all of a sudden. they cant confirm ur purchase anymore. They blame on muti inside and outside purchase. NOT COOL!!! And ive stopped using the app. dont like catching the raw end of the deal. went from 10/15 transactions a month. to none. thy got me. so ef it!!!!
I loved this app but I keep up with all that I have to do and im the last 8 months I only get 10 to 20 cents and that is even alot last night I put $50.00 at a gas station in their list and I only got $ .10 its not worth it

I've had this app for almost a year and every time I use it to get gas the prices never match with the gas station the prices are higher then what's listed and I try to update the prices but it does nothing so how am I really saving it's so frustrating I might just delete the app it's a waste of time.
I think that this is a good concept, but I've honestly had more issues than I've had success with this app. Getting my receipts to upload whether it's paper or digital has been extremely difficult and/or basically useless. That in tandem with the fine print on offers makes it not entirely worth it for me personally. I don't see myself using this for much longer, but I can appreciate the limited use I was able to get out of the app when I first started using it. I hope improvements are made
Wouldn't accept my legit Taco Bell receipt. Tends to only show the more expensive gas stations and the gas stations it does show have better deals through there own app and upside wont pay you if you use the stations app.

I used to like this app to earn on my gas purchases, however I haven't been able to get any gas recommendations for MONTHS, I only get restaurants. I only used this app for the gas, so it's basically useless to me now.

I have been waiting on my transactions to process since March I have never had this issue before with upside.
It was giving me the cash back, and it accumulated to $23+, then it disappeared without me using the accumulated amount.
