Works fine for a year then after that it just stops. Keeps disconnecting from internet and network. No matter what I do they go out.
the 3 times ive needed to pull futage the app happens to glitch at the extact time frame i needed. 1st a 3am attempted mugging on my neighbor, no footage recorded. when my lamp fell over in the middle of the night the camera magically turned toward my bed instead of the angle it waz set at. now service came to my qpartment and left a huge mess in my kitchen and i went to check my footage, no footage before 6pm today. whats the point of a camera if its only useless when i need it? i have 3 cams.

This app is awful. Does not work correctly, misidentifies birds, does not work most time. I cancelled the subscription halfway through and they immediately took it down. Now they have the nerve to charge me when I don't even have access. This is an awful company and no way to contact them.

It never ever works when I really need it to. Someone was knocking and I was at home alone with my children. It buffered for several minutes and never did show the image of who was here. It's garbage

app allows misleading ads that spoof being a part of this app. be careful
iv had these cameras for years and they worked great while they were new but the older they get the worse they get. im just gonna have to go buy some blink cameras cause this is ridiculous.
The recent update appears to have introduced several regressions compared to its predecessor. Specifically, users are now encountering immediate advertisements upon launching the application, and connection latency has noticeably increased. I would advise against the acquisition of this particular system. It will function effectively as long as the annual contract is acquired.
Update: Even worse! Now they even try to control the ability to use device. Trying to force an upgrade on people is horrible! It's nothing but harrassment. Messes with notifications and limits recording time (20 sec or none at all) to try and get you to pay a premium. Not what I planned on when buying! Ridiculous!
Update made app worse! when my apps have choices I need to make but they are in another language....I am not comfortable using the app!!!. This is where it is located for me: In app, go to library, choose local, click on down arrow: Shows camera as an option. Green bar underneath has another language on it. Am I the only one? Also I would like the option to record 24/7 to MY sd card restored.
Buyer beware, total ripoff, they charged my debit card $64 and change on Sunday for some in app purchase I assume and I disputed it immediately. They won't give my $64 back. Blatant ripoff. They will screw you and there is no way to fix.
app doesn't work wont connect camera
Vicohome can join Eufy and Blink and others with an F- for poor customer care and utter lack of any type of common sense regarding security for consumers. WON'T STAY LOGGED IN! Most recent update is trash. Stop saying they are for security when your app is inadequate and won't connect! 🤮 You cannot live view because it won't connect. It appears developers cannot stand a security app that work(ED). They are hell-bent on coming in and destroying something that was just fine. Idiots.
their motion detection was poor quality before, now they have made it worse for free subscribers, do NOT purchase from vico. the sound and live stream is also poor quality, waste of money
wont connect to alexa anymore
PHISHING ADS WHEN OPENING APP it didn't used to have ads. but now everytime you open the app it takes you to a splash page for an add. My favorite so far YOUR GOOGLE DEVICE IS INFECTED WITH 27 VIRUSES CLICK HERE TO REMOVE THEM.
Your app is offering ads with fake Android updates telling users to INSTALL FAKE ANDROID UPDATES and FAKE GOOGLE PLAY STORE UPDATE which serve malware. I'm reporting this to Google. I'm sure this is spyware. going to delete the app and throw the cameras away.

Reported their corrupt, malicious ads that claim your phone is severely damaged and must download a PUP/malware. Very dishonest and corrupt, like their 5 star reviews! Camera always misses important events. I suddenly have a new trash can and can't see who dropped it off or other events because of cooldown of 1 minute and w/only 20 sec video. It could cause you to be robbed and not know by who. Biggest Issue? Doesn't connect to any smart systems, battery only lasts 2wks after 1yr. Abusive ppl!!!
installed a bunch of spam software. now adds are showing when I open my phone ans I can't stop it.

Ads that show on opening are deceptive. Often show a dialogue box with fake information about an update or viruses.

This app used to be good enough to not even think about giving a review. But over the last year they are putting in advertisements regularly that interrupt your ability to quickly access your feed. Yeah if you get a microscope you can find the fine print to bypass the full page advertisement but what a pain. And for older folks with vision issues it's impossible. There are better cameras with more features.
service is terrible. support non existent. unreliable product, suggestion is to stay away if you value safety.

SD card video stopped working
Used to work well. Since the latest update it will not load the cameras 2-3x/week. I have to go turn off & turn back on the cameras. Nothing like having to go over to a building at all hours of the day and night to so this. I am researching different cameras from a different company. As soon as I get new ones these are going in the trash.
Slow. Tried to pause video three times and it didn't respond quick enough. Also I purchased 4 cameras. You would think after the purchase I wouldn't have ads on the app. Guess what, Ads!! Other than that good cameras.

Worked great for 2 days. Now It won't let me connect for a live view. It just takes snaps shots and sends them to my phone. Only after 2 days. Come on man.
80.00 for a yearly subscription when you can have one that only requires WiFi and Bluetooth... Not a good value!
Since the last update this app has been terrible, they added trashy ads, cameras go offline for no reason and the app sucks my battery dry. Terrible service will be switching soon.
loved until today. today when I went to check my bird feeder recordings a big long thing about bird feeders no longer being supported came up. I clicked to download the stupid "vico nature" , even though I don't want a separate app for this. now both apps keep logging out and when I go to look at them I get a message my log in has timed out. I also can't get an answer to the question about if they are now forcing me to subscribe to 2 different apps. useless without a subscription.
5 minutes of cool down time period is too much. It should have less than 1 minute of maximum cool down time period.
Bought the bird feeder camera and it worked for the first year. But then I upgraded my Wi-Fi and now they can't figure out how to upgrade their system to 5. Wi-Fi. So I guess I have a useless bird feeder camera but I can still use it to feed my birds and perhaps use the camera as a boat anchor. Definitely would not recommend this.
I don't like how your ads try trick people into clicking them thinking they are part of your app.
Keeping connectivity is really difficult. I'm out there almost daily rebooting the camera to reconnect it, and frequently it never reconnects - the camera won't scan the QR code. Really frustrating. I'm junking the whole thing and will avoid Vico products in future.

something happened to the app its set in an session expired loop... it won't let me in but my family can access MY camera where I can not ... garbage...
