Vivino is already earning from distributing wines from local vendors, the only reason you want to cut free functionalities from established users is pure GREED. Disappointment. I'm moving my cellar elsewhere.

Terrible, frustrating user experience
Was the best app, now is a useless unlogical app. My last 1 star they don't care. Because I still the premium membership. They don't care reviews, fault, bugs, etc. Only funny thing... After my first complain I goes down on the national rank.... Ha ha... The new thing after the last update. You can't choose 2025 vintage or if you try newer vintage which is your picture not an option is stopped like 2021 or something like this. Also a question how can I check my points from an older vintages?
Used to love this app, but progressive updates have made it significantly worse, with lots of bugs and performance issues. My main gripe now is the limit of 20 bottles for your cellar unless you subscribe to premium, which given the current quality of the app is a bit of joke and paywalls one of the most useful features. The insights also seems completely broken e.g. not tried a particular region / grape despite having rated 100s of those wines
Severe bugs FOREVER. Setting correct vintage often won't work, resets to wrong one. Often the vintage of a wine isn't available. Bad behavior with personal notes. Tried everything incl joining beta, deleting data, storage. They will never fix the issues. Do not pay these crooks anything. Still terrible.
Just launched subscription service. Should have done that years ago. Now the app is slow, scanning doesn't work and there are constant bugs and data loss. Adding new wines is also difficult as is selecting vintages. The app is way worse than it was 6 months ago. Constant crashes and problems retrieving data from server. If they get a decent product up and running I will be happy to pay a subscription, but this is far from good enough. Again with an update and now the cellar is even more buggy..
What a disaster of an update. Horrible navigation, translation not working, no more option to see recent reviews. Not accurate at all. Lots of distortion. Wrong wines, wrong vintages etc. It is a shame Vivino is not doing anything to elevate the user's experience.
The latest update has introduced several issues that make the app less reliable than before. Features that previously worked well now seem inaccurate or inconsistent. For example, Vivino tells me "You have not tried this style" even though I have already rated 178 wines in that style. Errors like this make it difficult to trust the recommendations and statistics provided by the app. Overall, the new version feels less polished and more confusing than earlier versions. The June update is a disaster. They completely ruined Vivino by removing the legendary round taste charts and replacing them with unreadable, ugly lines. The new UI is total garbage compared to how intuitive it used to be. On top of that, Google aggressively blocks older, working versions from May using the Play Integrity API, forcing this broken garbage on us. Disgusting corporate greed. Bring back the old taste charts! 1 star.

scanned wine told me it was from Australia then I scanned the same wine again and it's from France. But the bottle says it's from Italy
Wrong description, map, location and language.
This was a great app for wine lovers, but with the changes coming to Premium Subscribers no longer recieving free shipping for all orders, I have decided to move on to other better options and can no longer recommend this app. Thanks for the few great years.
This used to be a simple App that didn't require an email address or a login. That has now changed and it's spoilt it.

Upgrade now requires an account and removed my scans. No warning provided and I don't need another service trying to sell me stuff. Close to 200 scans over five years gone with one update.

The app no longer works on my One Plus 13, it says "we can't load the page". tried to uninstall and reinstall...no luck.
Horrible App!!! All they want is cash!!! It used to be good, but now you need premium to do anything! All they want is money!!! They restricted access to my wine history, then when I wanted to access my past wines, they would only give me access if I bought premium. It is just a money grab and they overcharge for wine. Total BS. So disappointed!!! It used to be good, but no longer!
aggressive push to subscribe, app becomes garbage
I have spent over 8K buying wine in the Vivino store (FR). I was a great experience in the beginning, but lately every order has a problem. It's either delayed, lost or damaged in transit. I have no more patience. It's time to find a new shop.
I don't like this new update. It won't load the wine when I take the picture. It's just a blank page. The new layout seems clunkier and its harder to find the info about the wine I'm looking at.
this new version is much worse than the previous. It doesn't show the wine ranking neither the user ranking, both features that were very useful.
Vivino Used to be a great app...Until they removed features like editing vintages after scanning, etc. STOP using AI! And STOP Google ads! They have destroyed a great app! Oh, and Please Move "Shop similar wines" off the screen, it totally blocks view of important content!
Downgrading to 2* since no improvement : app can suggest an entry price of 48E when you're checking a wine at 15, or recommend a vinho verde on a white Douro... In short the app can help only when you know nuts about a region. And the management of wish list remains very basic and will not entice me to switch to the paid version
it now has been months since the scanning feature almost always does not work. other than that, which is very annoying, i like the app and use to buy wine.
Charges a monthly fee to recommend wine with food
Have had this app and my same account since 2014. Had rated hundreds of wines to build a profile, had numerous wines in my cellar and bought many as well. Now my history is gone and only goes back to 2024. Your online help is a terrible outdated AI which is not helpful.
