Too expensive! Most of the content I can get with this is just linking to another service I have. The only reason I have to want this app is for their exclusive content, which only plays on a physical Vizio TV. What a waste of time and stupid business model. If they want my money, they should just ask or tell me instead of hiding that fact in layers of misleading error messages and missing options. I can't even pay to watch because they want to sell their inferior hardware!

It's forcing me to start a Walmart account which I won't do
I got this app because my dogs decided to use my remote as a chew toy, and the app worked just fine for the first time before I went to bed, then after I woke up I tried turning on the TV with both the app and the physical button on the TV, and it just stopped working, kept saying that the device was off and to try turning it back on, even after trying once again with both the app and TV. this is why I do t like Walmart anymore, first the digital price tags then this, do better Walmart.

Walmart owns Vizio now. Which means they want you to have a Walmart account to sign into the app that came advertised as a free feature. All so they can show you ads in the app and streamline more ads to your TV. I just want to clarify that I had a Vizio account. The app signed me out and my account no longer seems to exist. This is a bit ridiculous. I already bought the TV years ago. Now they're trying to force ads and a Walmart accoutn down my throat. Return your TV. 🤷♂️

This APP, bro, when the TV is on and already connected it wants to say Turn on TV its not connected like FIX IT.
Was cool till I needed a walmart account. Im good, and the next t.v wont be a vizio unfortunately.
Don't download it's not worth it. You can't add your devices without adding other apps like the Walmart app and you're going to be swamped with ads. Just return the tv you'll thank me later. And make sure you post on Facebook.
why do I have to sign into this app with Walmart I bought it from Target before I didn't have to sign in connected to with Wi-Fi

In order to use the TV properly, I have to create a Wal-Mart account. Had I known that, I wouldn't have bought the thing. Fun Fact: it was even on clearance. Thank you, Wal-Mart; I hate it! :-( p.s. I did NOT create the account. No way I am doing that.
App barely controls the TV. I can turn it on but not off. Navigation doesn't work at all. Ok button does nothing. Volume & mute don't work. I can open YouTube app but nothing else. App is pure garbage & not worth installing as it doesn't work.
Since merge with walmart vizio app is broken. Cannot cancel a subscription, app won't sign in, can't access anything. The tv keeps dropping my bluetooth. It's also extremely slow.
You know how people say you should complain critically and with detail. Well, nope, nope, and nope.
Editing: 3 stars to 1. The app is now essentially required in order to use my TV since they updated it, which I resent since an account is also now required. Why does my TV need my email address? The remote control that came with the TV barely has any use, and apps which support Chromecast don't work with the TV anymore. But thank goodness it can show me ads now. Where would we be without ads on the products we paid for? 2nd edit for dev response: you clearly ignored all my concerns. Thanks.
The app is unable to do anything with connected Vizio devices. It pretends to show information and settings, but fails to change anything, such as the input device. Several years later, it still doesn't work... EDIT: Several more years later and this POS app can't even find my devices. Now I can't enable night mode on my speaker. I can't recommend enough to stay away from Vizio EDIT 2: Further in the future, all the same problems exist

their sound bars are good. their apps sucks, erasing connected devices and good luck reconnecting. I very been 3h trying to connect using every sources possible. shame !

This app is a JOKE. It can't find either TV (i have two). I turn the TV on, it connects to the internet, I start the app and it STILL CAN'T FIND THE TV EVEN WHEN IT'S ALREADY ON. When the app works, it's a beautiful thing.. too bad it only works 5% of the time. UPDATE 6/20/26: Now they want you to agree to new terms with include "binding arbitration" agreements. This means they know something is up. Don't sign, delete immediately, definitely do NOT download.
Either the app or the audio cast works, not both, and need to reboot and unpair re-pair everythign to get then to connect. figured this was the only unacceptable solution after an hour of testing

I will upgrade to a 5 star when you guys put a little bit more money into your app. There's no reason I get a two hundred dollar soundbar, and I have all the drops I do with my phone I should be old just to open the app and connect, not sit there and have to do a troubleshoot every two times I use the app on one of the newest galaxy phones available ridiculous, two weeks now.I keep having to redo the bluetooth connection to control it with my phone about to straight, sell it and go to Samsung
