Volotea is NOT bicycle-friendly. The app does not provide clear requirements for transporting bicycles - only a weight limit is shown, with no specific packaging rules. I traveled with two friends with identical bikes packed the same way. Two were accepted in the same airport, even by Ryanair, but only Volotea refused mine for "incorrect packaging" without clear explanation or support. This shows the rules are vague and applied subjectively, making it impossible to prepare properly.
Well I really wanted to use this airline. They had the exact flights I needed and the price seemed competitive but I couldn't book them because neither this app or the English or Spanish websites work properly. I tried multiple times over three days then booked with another airline. Someone has said in another review that they should get someone from Easyjet to fix their website and I couldn't agree more. The problems are too long to list but they must be losing so much business
This application is terrible, it keeps crashing and won't let me get my boarding pass, so I had to do the check-in from my PC. Useless application.

Sinceramente no hay que estar graduado en Harvard para entender que está aplicación va fatal, en todos los sentidos, lo de megavolotea va encendido de default y a parte la aplicación si abre y se cierra automático a parte de otros miles problemas de optimización, ojala terminar mis estudios de diseñador de aplicaciónes web y mejorar está aplicación, porque vaya tela
my phone says the app has a bug so i can't use it.
Tried purchasing a flight. Got charged but never got the flight/ticket. Talking to their non-existent customer service is pointless (truly...no, I mean you can't believe how bad it is), so at this point I'm considering my money lost.
It generates invalid boarding passes which are not working during scan and include options you no longer have so you have to pay later during check-in. It looks like intention to keep this buggy app in this horrible condition.

App just doesn't work. I tried a couple of weeks ago to find my booking but the app gives an error "sorry, we encounter minor problems" and redirects to the main page. Yesterday, the same error occurred. Today I was able to access my booking. But when I try to add the priority pass, again, an error. On top of that, the Volotea's website has no option to add priority pass at all... The button "add priority" leads to the "manage your booking" page where there's no "add priority" button 🙈
I would really recommend making a megavolotea account if you want them to leech of your money. I stopped renewing my account because they stopped supporting flights in my area going as far as removing my card from their system and a year later after I did that process and wasn't charged (so the process must have gotten through)they put it back on the system and charged me again despite opting out of auto renewal . Also their contact support has been incredibly unhelpful

Can't open my boarding pass app got stuck and not responding.
Volotea tricks you into booking flights with the Megavolotea savings, then tries to charge €79.99 to your card 15 days later.
The app takes forever to open and needs my gps location too be on ...like whyyy?!? and in the end of the day it still crash. I cannot log in and download my boarding pass since it does not let me log it??. Nothing happened after I click on log in. You can charge me for a million things on board and on the website but cannot proved a simple smooth app experience. tell me why i now need to search for pc to download my boarding pass, will you make it for me on the airport since it is your mistake?
App keeps crashing. No way to view the booking. No way to print your boarding pass either. In other words, it's useless.

Horrible app. very buggy and slow
extremely glitchy. I wanted to get my boarding pass. didn't work. had to turn off several times to get it to work. it didn't. I had to restart, force stop it. and then when i did that I had to click "cancel and go back to home screen" to make it work. ridiculous.

Absolutely Horrendous App Experience This is hands down the worst airline app I’ve ever used. Glitches every two minutes, constant crashes, and half the time it doesn’t even recognize valid bookings. The interface looks like it was built in 2010 and never updated. Want to check in? Good luck - it’ll time out or throw random errors. Need support? Hope you enjoy staring into the void. because no one is responding, it is jot bad , it is insultingly bad. shameful
0 stars.. what a garbage app. every step is unnecessary and complicated and nothing works. i hope they just give up trying to make us to use this horror story of an app. not to mention the never ending payments! i hate volotea!

Why do you keep a non-functional app (I can’t add my bookings) in the Play store?
app continuously opens by itself and gets in the way of normal telephone use , I had to completely remove it. why don't you resolve the issue?

App pops up every time I unlock my phone!
The app started to open by itself. It did this once per minute. Then twice a minute. Then every 10 seconds. Then literally every second. I was just about able to get to the desktop to lean on the icon and uninstall it. I wasn't sure if this was my phone or the app, but two days later it happened on my wife's phone too. We both have a Samsung A15. We are flying with Volotea next week. I think we will be checking in on the website and using snapshots of the QR code rather than using the app!
don't ever take this flight because it's always late to much late for this 😒 🙄 I don't know how they achieved award maybe of to much late I'm give 0 of 10 for that kind of airline

app loads likes its a webpage, you have to wait for every page to load, sometimes significant load times. the app also opens on its own and brings itself to the forescreen, randomly to let you know deals etc, which is both invasive and feels creepy but also interrupts other things like you tube or web surfing.
Worst app/website ever. I think they deliverately made such a bad website so that you are forced to download the app...except the app sucks, too. The people who awarded this airline in 2023 must have been on a substance I wish I knew... UPDATE: Took me 6 months to get an overbooking reimboursement (to which I am entitled by law). I finally get a voucher and...it's not working! Plus it's taking longer than a week for them to fix this issue... UPDATE 2: this freaking app keeps opening for no reas
