This app and service should absolutely be one star. Believe every negative review. text messages will say things are confirmed, the app will say still say pending and needs to be confirmed. I can't believe how terrible this app is. impossible to get a live agent. I confirmed a dog sitter, but then she was unresponsive and left me without a sitter.

There is no human being to help if anything goes wrong with your walker. App rarely works. IMO a dangerous option for your pet.

The negative reviews really weren't kidding. There literally does not even appear to be a place to sign up to be a caregiver, I had to go to the help section and piece things together myself. Plus just like Rover, they charge a fee to become a caregiver so I don't know why anyone would use this app over Rover. It is not at all user friendly and based on other reviews, I will not be wasting my time signing up when I can just go elsewhere.

cheap and horrible policy
The app logged me out, I was unable to get back in leading me to not being able to contact the caregiver, once I got back into the app the boarding was gone. They probably thought I wasn't going to show but I was already on my way. I had to almost miss a business trip due to not being able to board my dog.
DON'T DOWNLOAD WAG. GET ANYTHING ELSE. WAG BREAKS YOUR PHONE....,
05/26/26: update: still barely usable. 4/19/26 still barely usable and the help option has me completing intricate lists of instructions to make the app work to see the list of caregivers requested my booking. furthermore had me change my appt and cleared the list of people who had requested to walk my dog creating further confusion. honestly this app could be good if it WORKED AT ALL. ITS BEEN YEARS AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK
can't schedule a boarding time on my pixel 10a. app is unusable.
Taking 40 percent from your caregivers is highway robbery and you should be ashamed. I'll never use your app again.
Horrible app and web site. Did someone let their six-year-old code it all? Tried to delete my account multiple times. First verfcode doesn't work; second one goes through, asks to confirm deletion, then says you have unfinished tasks.
So pushy and predatory. They push walkers on you even if all you want to do is browse through options, require you to choose one in 24 hrs, and will auto-select one for you if you do not find a good fit in time. What would have happened if I had input my payment info beforehand as requested?? You're forced to use the app even though you were able to start the process online. plus, they are dodgy and try to hide their massive fees which turn out to be %35-40 of the total cost.
Attempting to create a profile and only receiving a buffering circle.
this app is terrible. never again I can't even use it and they are charging me 5.99 for a month. complete rip off. refund me
Notifications aren't in the app, be careful before clearing the pop up! If you want to book one person don't be fooled into thinking the app listens when you say don't send anyone else! And be prepared for a glitch where every payment is declined and sends a past due notice even after changing card type, payment method, etc. And if you send a complaint don't expect them to follow up or even read the complaint ticket before responding - awful service on top of an awful app.
I've been trying book the same awesome pet caregiver I used before. its been a week of trying, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and still getting an error that my boarding can't be processed and to check back later. I've tried support through the chat bot. First time, never heard back from the supposed ticket that being opened. Today I opened another one. we shall see. The concept is great, but the app performance needs work.
The people working at this company are too stupid to build a basic HTML form to submit an endorsement with. They force you to download an entire app for something so simple.
This is the worst app ever. can't log in. I NEVER get the code needed. WHY do I have to get my code via email? I should be able to get a code texted to me. All my other apps text me a code. I requested a code this morning to see my matches & I received an email that said my request was canceled for invalid payment. I've never put payment options in. I can't even see who I matched. The 2 I did see were brand new and had only completed a few sittings and had zero reviews. Not leaving my 12y/o pet.
app keeps freezing on terms of use page
app is horrible. has been for literally YEARS but they don't care to do anything about it. it's awful for customers and workers. there is no way to talk to a real person. the phone number is just a prerecorded message telling you to use the app. the app only has an AI chat that just gives up when it can't help, which is every time
apparently this app hires transeant people to come into your house and watch your pet

It won't let me be a walker it will only let me schedule something
The App has been unreliable day one. Changed to Next Door community app instead to find walkers in our area because of how bad the app functions. Had a last-minute care for our dogs and tried the app to due to timeliness only. Got a caregiver quickly, but then the app did what is usually does, random notices and pop-ups that are all over the place, but I was able to pay and tip - or so I thought. Credit card was charged, but app is making me pay again a day later and at a higher price.
DONT USE THIS APP!!! This App literally banned my BM because she took our son to a dogs house because I was at work and couldn't watch him at home, they banned her cuz "He's not 18+" "it's against their guidelines" But they'd be okay with her leaving our 2 year old at home by himself cuz it's against their rules to bring him? This app is a joke. (ohh and they're trying to keep a $100 tip she got. (Ohh btw she was a 5 star sitter since she started and they still didn't care and banned her.
Great when it works but keeps logging you out. Recently the login process has gotten annoying where the page refreshes before you can enter your email pass code.
unable to leave reviews for our walker..keeps taking me to update app. after it updates, I still get the same message. Love our walker not the app
tried to cancel prior to being assigned, couldn't on the website, and the app gave me the circling bone forever and then forced an assignment, even though I didn't pick anyone.
The app is okay. it has a good amount of software flaws. They put my account under review for over a month now and there's no way to contact them about it.
The sitters have been great, but the app is shockingly glitchy.
