worst ever travel app, cannot link places that you want to visit that is missing from wanderlog. There is so many places and activities that i want to connect to itinerary, that wanderlog doesn't even know it exist

Terrible UX. This app constantly has to give you tips on how to use it. Counter-intuitive design.

There's something MAJORLY wrong with those 5* reviews, I suspect bought. Why? Because just getting into the app for the first time is like pulling teeth. Tons of questions, splash screens patting itself on the back, tried searching a small town that I would be travelling to in search of a local sight, and wouldn't bring it or the sight up. Just so unbelievably frustrating in the first 5 minutes from downloading it, that I deleted it. Get a freaking clue Wanderlog. not coming back AH.

Not free! Or there's no obvious way to use it without the free 7 day trial. Forced to answer a lot of unnecessary questions and read/bypass a bunch of unnecessary splash screens before finally being able to start the trip planning. After entering the destination I was expected to sign up for the 7 day free trial and enter financial information with no obvious way to bypass. Said that after the free trial I would be automatically charged for the subscription. Uninstalled. I'll find another app.
I wanted to like this app, but I kept being bombarded with onboarding screens, endless pop-ups for upgrades and buy-ins for subscriptions. I couldn't even make it to the actual addition of my trip. Why not pitch upgrades *after* I've actually tried the app?

it takes many screens and questions before you find out it's a pay app.
This is by far the worst app I could imagine for travel planning. Perfect representation of enshittification: app starts with a pointless 10-minute form, proceeds with a bunch of popups on each step and advertising of the pro version when you literally haven't even tried the free version properly, laggy and disfunctional navigation, etc etc. Please do something instead of software engineering, like touching grass.
Used this app for the first time to plan our trip to Japan. Unfortunately the app is so laggy and unresponsive that I've reverted to just using Google maps instead. Also it kept popping up with totally useless travel tips that I was unable to close because the app was not responding. Will be uninstalling when I get home

I've used wanderlog for a couple of years and it tends not to update places (i.e. places that have been permanently closed for years and not placing new places that are at least a year old) and just pulls from OLD TripAdvisor reviews that are years old. I tried to use this to plan our summer vacation but several of our places weren't there and some that we looked at aren't even there any more. I wasted so much time trying to build our trip on here.

neat app but the support feature is beyond useless. you get sent to an ai 'founder' named Harry and never actually get help from a person. it's been 15 days with no response from a real human. ai slop.
This app is so buggy and laggy (both Android and web version). It slows down or temporarily becomes unresponsive. Buttons don't work. It's really unreliable and annoying. Also, there's something about it that just doesn't work for me. It's really difficult to put my finger on it. The UI is bloated, I never seem to find exactly what I need, and there's always something extra on the screen. It still seems to be the best app in the category though. :/
Just wanted to plot a route on the map and couldn't see how to do it. Seemed unnecessarily complicated with lots of tabs and constant pop ups telling me to sign up for pro version. Played with it for a while but then decided to uninstall and look for a more intuitive mapper
