its a scam. it let's you preview a bit of a book then you have to buy "chapters" with coins. it costs more than a physical book; the novel I was reading is over 1000 chapters. to unlock all the chapters, its 22.5K "coins". 7500 coins is $150. so you're telling me this book costs over $200 dollars? that's bogus. no print book costs that much! even a series of several books wouldn't be $200+. Just a scam/ racket to make money. they fluff it up with "we support authors" but that's just bogus too.
Almost every book is AI slop. you're lucky if you'll find a hiden gem or two , but you have to really have to go looking for it. the text speech also, glitches out a lot.
it's a good app but they should allow readers to subscribe to monthly plans instead of subscribing for each chapters

When using the app turning auto unlock off in the settings does not work. If you look in settings and it shows as off, then you read some chapters it can take all your in game coins. Due to the inability to screen shot because of concerns that people will steal the books there is no easy way to prove it is happening.
Finally figured out how to cancel the membership in the app... they make it very hard to find that cancelation button. I'm super annoyed about paying another month when I thought I canceled in google play. I will not be purchasing again. Alot (most) of the stories are lacking in depth anyway.
after the resent update there is a problem with audio book its just close when I open another app. its not good anymore before ad was like 1 long video or 2 video to get 1 fast pass or to unlock a chapter now its 3 short video and you need to click skip .. even fast pace need to watch 2 video getting too greedy now. losing interest in it better to go website and read it altogether the new chapter will come late if it continues then beside book only available in
Horrible! Kept charging me and then when I asked them to confirm my subscription was canceled they kept asking for an invoice that I don't have. Kept insisting they needed a screenshot of my bank details but I wasn't comfortable with that. I guess I'll just contact my bank in the morning because this is beyond ridiculous.
7.99 per month for 1 chapter a day? have you lost your mind? canceling right now. totally greedy unnecessary BS

After spending $30, I got to read half of a book. I'd have to spend another $50 to finish it. Waste of time and money! 🤬

the bad I am not a fan of this model of business. Micro transactions for reading feels wrong. Books are also over priced for what you get. Onyx Storm is 66 chapters $26.99 for a hard cover at Barns & Noble. Webnovel 50 chapters for no hard copy just digital is $40 usd or more. They have free passes but many of those are locked on books of webnovel's choice. conclusion I use the app for a little bit & when the system annoys me go back to books or ebooks.
Has some good writers, but the rewards and membership are needlessly (and I suspect deliberately) complicated. For your 'membership', you get 10 coins per day, which is what you get from similar apps for free. Not good value.
