right away it asks if you want notifications and it makes you say yes (there is nowhere to click no until the system prompts the acceptance) needs to be a "X" or no thank you. dirty lowlife trying to force advertisements via notification

horrible app to redeem points, then send out specials that are not pertinent to my purchases. also told that if buying something that has a deal going on then you don't accumulate points.
still broken after update. support 'resets account' which let's it work for a tiny bit then back to broken. reinstalling doesn't help, clearing cache doesn't help, clearing data doesn't help

It doesnt seem like Wendy's has CS anymore but still have an the contact pages setup. my order was completely wrong and I have been trying to reach CS for 2 weeks with no luck. I wait in line for CS chat and it gets to my place and says No one available and restarts the que. No email contact even though it tries to link you to one.. but doesn't exist. what a joke of a company. what happened to Wendy's?

No point keeping an app for a fast food dump that closes locations every day that ends with a "y".
Now just unusable. It takes forever to load and show any screen at all, and usually only does after I switch to another app and back in. Then when I finally get things in the cart to place the order, it says it can't connect, and to ensure I'm connected to the internet. Utter garbage that only started in the past 2 months. App is updated, and on an S24 Ultra, so nothing is old enough for there to justifiably be issues like this.
Uninstalled the app because it is no longer needed. They changed their spicy chicken to an abomination of a sandwich and it's terrible, to say the least. The old sandwich had personality. Had crunch. Had flavor. This new version is just... Generic. Soft. Soggy. It's worse than being removed, because it's still there, just gone. A shell of what once was. Every bite reminded me of how much better it used to be... And what I may never taste again. RIP to a true great.
Wendy's recently made The fantastic decision to add self-order kiosks, something that helps increase the speed at which they can serve their customers. the problem is those kiosks don't work with the app so you have to go to the counter, but nobody will serve you at the counter because they all want you to use the new fancy kiosks, which means unless you're going through the drive-thru you cannot use the app at all.

Counterintuitive. Would love to tell you how it worked but after 17 "Oops, looks like something went wrong," I gave up and ordered McDonald's from their app, which incidentally, is so easy-to-use & works great nearly every time. You have the greatest social media people and I'm guessing I'll get roasted for this review, but it's worth it to let you know you really need to work on copying how their app works. Wendy's food + McD's app = Awesome!
This company sells your data to Palantir. Food ain't that good anyway. 4 for 4 is gone and I regret ever working for this company.
Difficult to use
Never works right and the cashiers will rip you off if you don't pay attention. UPDATE: 05/04/2026 CRASH LOCKED, AUTO SHUTDOWN, NO UPDATE, CURRENTLY BRICKED.
App not loading. I've used this app now for many times and lately (the last 3 purchases) could not apply the coupon. Every time an error pops up. I follow the instruction to correct but the error still prevent me to complete the order. So to finally put the order through I had to remove the coupon. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

terrible. Easily the worst app I've ever used. Did you buy the software off Fiver? This app has prevented me from going to Wendy's at least a dozen times now. And Great loading screen guys! That's all I've ever seen when I boot this up. Awful. still hasn't improved
This app always signs me out, making me go through the longest process to re-sign in. Additionally, sometimes the app just never opens, it stays stuck on the loading screen. Also, the fact that adding a deal doesn't add those items to your basket and you have to go find the exact ones yourself is terrible UI. Love the food, but this is one of the worst fast food apps.
The worst app I have ever used! I went to Wendy's to use my welcome offer for the free 6pc chicken nuggets, and it gave me the loading screen of death. The cashier even asked me to try reinstalling, so I did. And after logging in, it still gave me the same loading screen. 0/10, don't bother with this trash!

I'm not sure what'd going on with the app but wvery single time I try to go on it, it gets stuck on the loading page and doesn't bring me to the home page at all, I have deleted the app, the cache, the data and still it does nothing, the amount of times I've missed out on points because the app refuses to work, and with the new system I can't email to receive my points anymore but the app only scans barcodes and my receipt has a QR Code, I'm considering deleting the app it's so inconsistent

AGAINST THE LAW!! SB 478 in californiaIf you live in California you can easily sue wendys due to the false advertisement on there commercials. In July 2024 a business can not have a commercial playing in California claiming to have a deal for $4 $6 $8, when in ALL of California it is really $6 $8 $10. even if the small letters at the bottom say not available in California, Hawaii or Alaska they are still purposely advertising in california a price you can not get in California.

this app is so terrible, it's the reason I don't go to Wendy's anymore. It deletes your acct and wants you to start a new one every few weeks, doesn't recognize rewards for Dave's single, and constantly crashes.

Menu has outpriced the common household. That aside, the app doesnt let you customize the way you want when you do promotions, it always asks where you want to order from, then when you checkout, it asks again as well as what form of pickup.
The app is refusing to load, uninstalling didn't help, I couldn't log back in whatsoever. It just continues to load and load and no change.
