the offers page has been screwed up for months now. I've cleared the data and reinstalled and did everything you should never have to do to make the app of a billion dollar corporation work. slow and incompetent service anyways...
I spoke with customer care via chat about an issue at a store, no one has responded to rectify this issue

it only lets you add certain amount of visits for your rewards,it says you have too many visits how come they don't say that when you go eat at the restaurant. and also I have changed my phone twice and when I do that ,they start my rewards from zero, like if they don't know how many points I had ,but what they do transfer is my payment method...they remember my debit cards but not my reward points
UNSUBSCRIBING from emails do NOT unsubscribe... and they send MULTIPLE a day. Completely unnecessary.

I get offers for things in my email then tells me to click link to get them in the app so I do. I click it and it does not work. it never does. it also never let's me redeem anything either. this app is poorly made.

Everytime I've used the app I still end up waiting for 20-30 minutes for my food. Not even worth it
wouldnt show my free offer from the email
Doesn't rack up rewards quick and when you finally get enough rewards for something, it takes your points but will not let you purchase. When you try to add reward and purchase again, it says already redeemed. It has messed up purchasing on almost every single time I try to place an order. I don't even bother using it anymore. Whatadisappointment!

free kids meal not loading
App went from functioning well to a POS in past few months. Promotions in there that are not valid. Customer care is awful. Just an all around terrible experience. I would like to give a zero star or fractional ¼ ⭐ at most.

New app is HORRIBLE i should have to have chrome as my main wrf browser my phone to sign in with Google. duck duck go provides that for all sites. it's their app that won't link to anything but chrome. needs to be fixed. changing app preferences for web browser didn't work. I tried to change my password and it won't let me because I need to sign in with google. 6/1/26 - I get an email telling me to claim a reward. tried with different browsers, still no reward in app
My payments are not working, will not let me load card, or use the $ I have on it. 11.08.2025... The app is still unusable... crazy! I love Whataburger!! Would be very nice if the app worked... so sad.. 06.01.2026- update- I tried the app again, tried to use Google wallet, 3 cards declined... I don't have this issue anywhere else... your app is the problem...
Why in the world would an app default me to an 11:00 at night breakfast order? I'm pulling to the store and it's still before 11:00 but it takes them almost 10 minutes to decide that my order was scheduled for 11:00 p.m. and now they refuse to make it even though I was there in line before 11:00 a.m.

Nothing works on it. Difficult to get locations, rewards, order and pay on the app and the brick and mortar never received your order, issued offers in your account can't be redeemed. on an on. Garbage app!
Lags too much. This app is the worst and as soon as I'm done with my points I am uninstalling and never going back to this place. This app is nothing but problems and bugs and when you contact customer service there is nothing they're able to do to help.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP FOR ANYONE WITH A MORNING ROUTINE. this app always runs so horribly bad. you never know if your order went through or if it was delayed. it constantly stalls out and gives you a blank screen. it's a true 50/50 chance on if it will work correctly or not every time you use it.
Horrible! Had 1588 points and went to go use them and my points just randomly reset in the app! Right in front of me! dont wast your time saving points

still unable to sign into my account because the whataburger account i created through my google account is now no longer linked to one another. i love losing access to all my reward points and mobile ordering for seemingly no reason!! its so super fun! shoutout carlos in customer support for the thoroughly useless chat help.
This has to be the worst. app. ever. It won't do anything but crash. I've cleared the cache, deleted and reinstalled, restarted my phone... nothing works.
poor app to location communication. The app will let you order and navigate through all the BS, then when youre done, it will tell you that the location is not accepting online orders. if the location is not accepting online orders, WHY ON EARTH would you let the customer waste their time on the app? Mcdonalds, burger king, and sonic all have their act together in this regard. Time to step up your game whatburger!!

The app won't let you pay with gift card and credit card. This is predatory, and forces you to always add money to your gift card to use it. There's no reason in 2026 why any company can't let you use your gift card balance then pay the remainder with another card.

horrible app and user experience. It seems like its a really shoddy web based app. takes forever to load in between every click. I switched to ordering pickup on doordash because it takes me like 5-10 minutes on this app vs 1 or 2 on doordash. You'd think after being bought out by a big cap company they'd work on it.
This app is horrible. The UI itself is worse than a first year intern could do. The overall functionality is terrible, with screens that freeze, buttons that won't respond, and no way to delete an order before paying. The 'rewards' are laughable and who displays a QR code on the phone you are using? Exactly how do you expect me to scan a code while I'm using the app from my phone? I don't know how much they paid to have this app developed but it was a complete waste of money.
